As advertised.
I've purchased and used a number of disposable dermarollers similar to this one. It works just fine and checks all the boxes.

Yes, it really does increase circulation, gently.
I was a bit skeptical at first, but figured I should at least try this before dismissing the idea of microneedling. I’d like fuller and thicker hair, and besides topical and red-light therapy, microneedling is apparently able to help with hair growth, among other things. I’ve seen a lot of different types of rollers, but what attracted me to this one specifically is that the needles are made of titanium, the same hypoallergenic metal used in hip replacements and other surgeries where they don’t want the metal implants to cause a reaction. It made sense then to get a roller that has titanium needles so that I avoid any possible allergic reactions to the needles themselves. The roller came in a sterile packaging, but you definitely want to spray this with 70-80% isopropanol or ethanol each time before use. You can get those alcohols at your local drug store. One of the plastic braces that keep the roller held firm in its case was broken (see photo) when it arrived, but the needles were otherwise in perfect shape. You want to check and make sure the needles are bent before each use as well. I also washed my hair beforehand, as you should do for any part of the body you plan on using the needles on. For each spot on my scalp, I did 6 passes, twice each in different directions (up/down, diagonal, etc.). I could barely feel the needles and it wasn’t painful at all, but what I did notice was the sound and sensation of popping, as the tiny needles pierced my skin. It seemed to me to be working, but I was still wondering if that’s all there was to it. A few minutes after I finished, rinsed and put the roller back in the case---it hit me! Suddenly I felt a warmth all over the top of my head, and a gentle pulsing at the top of my forehead by the hairline. It wasn’t an unpleasant feeling, but definitely nothing I’ve ever experienced before. Maybe the closed way to describe it is like a very soft niacin flush. This lasted about 5 minutes or so, tapered off and was gone after 10 minutes. My body clearly reacted to the very microscopic penetrations by increasing blood flow to the area in order to begin the healing process. As a last-minute tip, I ate a healthy dinner and took vitamins about 1 hour before so that my circulatory system would have lots of nutrients available for repair. I can’t wait to try this again at the end of the week.

Not a metal handle
Works fine but didn't want a plastic handle

Works well
I ordered this to replace my old one which had gone dull. I like the case this comes in and the overall style, as it is an upgrade to what I had. The instructions address disinfecting, thankfully, and while I used to set the roller in a cup of alcohol, it's wasteful when you can give this a good soaking by spraying it with alcohol instead. It is prickly to the sensitive areas of the face when used, as can be expected, and did increase circulation with a slight reddening of the skin that went away in about 30 minutes for me. I haven't been using it enough to attest to any youthful benefits yet, but have experienced this in the past when using a derma-roller before. I think the price is decent for the level of quality provided.

So far so good and keeping my face clearer
So far so good and keeping my face clearer. I started using these a year ago and had a cheap plastic one that after a few months broke where the roller connects to the handle. Upgraded to this and so far so good, no issues with the roller. When using it don't apply too much pressure and always disinfect it after each use.

Worked great
The derma roller was a great addition to my hair care. New to micro needling but this was a perfect way to start. The benefits of doing can be looked up but I decided to start doing this. The roller performs well, was of good value and will work for a long time to come.
