Gold Film nostalgia
First time using my film camera and I will say this was the best choice of film. Kodak has such a great quality. The pricing for these six rolls is worth the bundle and you get a variety between the Ultramax and Gold film. Gold wad truly my favorite of the two.

Great film
It feels so nostalgic to be shooting film again. I’m so glad that, when I develop them, there’s not much of a surprise. The quality is so gorgeous and Kodak gold gives such a sweet and vintage effect. I love how many shots I get from them as well. These are perfect for daytime in the winter out in the PNW.

My go-to affordable film stock
With the surge of film photography on the rise in the past few years, so does the cost of film stock. Kodak is one of the original companies that produced films for the consumer, and I've recently gotten back into this art form. The current price of this set is worth the money, and it is still competitive with other retailers, yet more affordable than buying individually or trendy films out now. Kodak Ultra and Gold have been my go-to color films for their outstanding color, versatility, and affordability. I've used different cameras and situations with these film stocks, so the results may vary. Ultimately, I enjoy the photos that emerge from the developing process. I've shared samples of my photos taken on the Kodak 200 and 400

Ultramax good, Gold kind of mediocre.
For those looking for a budget friendly "starter pack bundle" of color negatives, this isn't too bad. Ultramax (as the name suggests) has strong colors, which are also fairly accurate. 400 ISO plus high exposure latitude also makes it a breeze to shoot. Classic grainy look. Gold is alright if you specifically want a very vintage-y look, but IMO looks awful for anything landscape and you have to really like it's pretty strong yellow-biased color shift. I buy Ultramax regularly but basically don't touch Gold. If you like the look it works though.
