Berberine is key for so many reasons and this is one of the better brands. I trust Enzymedica in almost all their products. I do use Standard Process too but it's harder to come by, and Enzymedica does a great job particularly with their Digest Spectrum as well as the gluten one. This Berberine seems to work well for me too. I've tried others and choose this one.

I think it’s working. My a1c has dropped slightly. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but otherwise no complaints.

I am using this as a poor man's substitute for Wegovy which my insurance no longer covers. It is not as effective as the Rx but I believe it is helping me to at least maintain my weight loss.

I've purchased this product 4 times from Amazon. I've recently started asking for copies of third party quality control test results and the name of the lab doing the testing for all the supplements I take. I have had no response from enzymedica. They claim to use berberine phytosome. in the product I have bought. This is a product, the substance itself, manufactured by Indena, an Italian pharmaceutical and supplement manufacturer and inventor of the phytosome manufacturing process. Enzymedica also sells a non phytosome product. Without a reliable third party confirmation of the contents of a product of from any particular lot, there is no way of knowing if the product contents match the bottle label or match the potency on the label or contain other substances that may be harmful. I will no longer purchase this product or any product from this business.
