As someone who sits entirely too much, I’m prone to pressure-sensitivity on my tail bone.😛 I’m also planning a very long road trip in my very small car, so purchasing this cushion with time to get used to it first was part of my trip planning. And omgggg, I looked at sooooo many reviews of seat cushions!!🤪 PROS: The size is great for my Toyota Yaris, which is a small (compact) car.🚗 The straps were sufficiently long and adjustable enough to get good attachment to the car seat. It is soft enough to be comfortable even for extended periods of driving. It is a quality-made product, there’s nothing cheap about it. The price : quality ratio is excellent. The gradual wide-wedge shape prevents pressure points under the mid-thigh. The polyurethane (leatherette) cover does not make my butt sweat. I had asked that question of others during my investigative process, and can now confirm no sweaty butt from fake leather. Good for me, good for the environment!😂 The cushion also looks a bit sporty - I guess as much as something under your butt can ever be sporty. It’s not a gross-looking thick toilet seat like some of those donut- or U-shaped cushions.🥴 Ugh. I’d rather not drive. IYKYK. CONS: Buy it and use it before you actually need it for a long car trip. You’ll need to adjust to sitting at the new height - if you don’t you’ll blame the cushion for your own mistake. Because my car is small, my *headroom* was impacted, and this is a fairly thin cushion. It’s something to be aware of. When I’m getting in and out of the car I have to be more mindful to not klunk my head on the door frame - retraining of a habit. Otoh, you might not notice this at all in a bigger car or SUV. I spent a fair amount of time shifting the cushion around and adjusting the straps for my best comfort, and readjusting all my car’s mirrors for *safety*. My final -and current- adjustment has the back of the cushion about 2” forward from the hinge in the car seat. This forward-position has me sitting ‘level’ vs ‘down’ in a bucket seat. Allow yourself time to experiment with this, it’s like getting used to a new car but on a smaller scale. I’ve been using this cushion for about a month, and I’m just now getting comfortable enough to not notice it much at all. I do think these steps would be necessary for any car seat cushion, not just this one (which is thinner than most, and I like that). I highly recommend this cushion, especially if you have a small car.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect size. Worked very well in our truck, provided the extra cushioning I needed to absorb some of the rough ride. I have a neck injury and could not ride in the truck comfortably. Would be in extreme pain when we arrived at our destination. This helped significantly. Not too firm or too soft, lite weight and easy to carry with the handle. Quality is good, fabric is a bit slick. Love the angled design made it very comfortable. You do sit up about 2” higher.

As a physio, I've been recommending wedge cushions similar to this for ages. This one is *okay* but it's really soft, and the fabric is "slippery," meaning that your bottom moves more easily, which means that you'll get more leg fatigue (and perhaps less mitigation of low back symptoms, if that applies), from pushing through the legs to stabilize yourself. I've found that these should probably be firmer for people with low back issues, people who spend a lot of time driving, and folks who are over 185 lbs/84 kg. There are better and more supportive brands out there, but I've noticed many of the best brands are out of stock, here on Amazon, and on the manufacturer's own websites. BUT this brand does technically help you to at least *get your hips at or above your knee level when you're sitting,* AND it has a *pressure relief point directly under the spine,* which are the main benefits of this kind of cushion.

I have double torn hamstrings and sitting is miserable. This is the best carseat cushion I have tried yet. I just ordered a 2nd one. I love that it's a wedge and takes pressure off the back of my thighs while driving and sitting. I also recommend this cushion to my friend.

PERFECT!! I had bought a back and seat memory foam pads after healing from a fractured lower back but they were too thick for comfortable use in my car. They needed to be 1/2 as thick and less firm. This seat cushion is perfect. It is thick enough to cushion and tapers a little thinner towards seat edge which helps create a slight tilt, which the doctor said i needed for pain relief. My lower spine rests in the open area while the rest is supported. It's much more comfortable than many I tried. I found my upper back felt better with an inexpensive mesh back support that has no cushion, found at local stores. Memory foam was just too thick.

The car seat is wide enough to cover my car seat, but the picture in the ad shows the length reaching the edge of the car seat. In my Honda Accord, the length reaches a little more than half the length of the car seat, so it creates a bump right under my thighs that's uncomfortable. So, I had to return it. The firmness seemed alright. The cutout was comfortable for the tailbone. I can't attest to the clip that goes around the car seat because once I realized it was too short in length, I didn't remove it from the shrinkwrap.

I have been having a right hip/gluteal pain during driving long distances. It has persisted after driving. I ordered this car seat about a week ago to use for a long driving trip. It helped so much, and the support was just right. I liked the thickness,not too high, and i liked the fact that the car seat wasn't too firm. I am now using every time I drive.

Bought it because I have sciatica. It's comfortable and I'll see if it helps on longer vehicle trips. Not bad price for the comfort and quality.
