This is such a great case! I have the leather Remarkable case, which I love. I'm going back to school and was worried that the leather cover might get damaged in my bag or in constant use in classrooms and labs, so I got this one. I love that it looks like a regular notebook on the outside! It not only will keep my Remarkable safe from damage, but also to keep it safe from people who may be looking to steal a tablet device. This holds my pen securely also. Great design and price!It seems like there may be a slot for storing extra pen tips in the bottom, but I haven't been able to figure out how to open that yet. I don't think that's a big deal though since I don't replace the tips very often.

The inside is a strange material and collects dust, which you have to brush off...not really something you want inside a journal case. but, other than that its good.

I absolutely love my ReMarkable 2 But have always been frustrated when carrying it around because the cases for the tablet have no holder for the stylus and I have had to use an elastic band to secure it and putting it in my bag. Yes, there is a magnet, but it doesn’t work during transport. This case, however, has a very well-made stylus holder built-in, that solves all the problems. The case also looks great and is very durable. I’ve been dealing with the magnetized stylus issue with dismay and I’m so happy I have a solution! 😀

I received this folio/case for my new remarkable 2 tablet and I find nothing wrong with it. It feels sturdy, and I have confidence it will protect the tablet from daily use. However, with that said, it doesn't have cushioned edges, so I'm not sure of resistance to drops, but if normal usage by an adult is the question for this purchase, I say go for it. If this was for a student, or younger/not very careful with items like this, I might look for a more cushioned device. It does have edge protection, but it's plastic upon plastic, which is why I say normal use it would be fine/perfect. Unlike other reviewers, I actually like the stylus holder. I tried 2 stylus's with it and I have zero complaints, in fact, I like that it's loose enough to enable the magnetic hold if you put the flat side of the stylus towards the tablet.

This is good value for the price of the item.PROS:*Affordable, especially compared to the covers available on the reMarkable website.*Water-resistant hardcover is protective of the reMarkable tablet's surface and mechanical integrity.*Nice looking, slightly textured, linen-looking cover that makes the technological item seem less like yet another stark electronic.*Thoughtfully includes a trench along the edge to hold your stylus next to your tablet. It's great - the stylus places in/clicks in quite securely, yet the stylus is also very easily taken out. This is far better than having to slide a stylus through an evasive loop of elastic, where it dangles outside of a case!CONS:*Uncomfortable to hold it while open: because, when I open it, and wrap the cover around to the back and then hold it with my left hand, unfortunately the inner plastic ridge presses into the joint of my lefthand thumb with all the weight of the reMarkable 2 tablet. It's untenable for a long writing session, and I can only use this if I have a table surface around to write on.*Won't cushion the tablet if you drop it; doesn't have foamy pad or cushioned aspects.
