Tote Trac is an overhead garage storage system for plastic bins. It is an affordable, easy-to-use storage solution that allows you to take advantage of the unused overhead space in your garage. Use multiple sets to easily expand the system and fully declutter and organize your garage or storage space. It is recommended that you use high quality heavy duty storage bins or tubs that feature reinforced ribs under the edge rail or flange. Tools needed for installation include a stud finder, pencil or marker, drill, 5/32" drill bit and 10mm socket with drill adapter. Lag bolts must be centered on a ceiling joist stud to ensure the Tote Trac system is installed securely. The Tote Trac system is also fully scalable. Each 2 piece set of Tote Trac in the package can support storage bins on either side, which allows for maximum customization of storage space by using multiple sets in tandem. For example, 1 set can support 2 bins, but 2 sets can support a total of six 12 gallon bins that are sized 15” x 21” (2 bins can be supported within each set and an additional 2 bins can be supported in between each of the 2 sets). This arrangement can be extended across your storage space as needed. Limit weight to a maximum of 50 pounds per tote and 25 pounds per "J" hook. Total weight on an individual piece of Tote Trac racking should not exceed 100 pounds (200 pounds for a set).

Great overhead storage
You just need to find the studs or run a 2x2 across the studs. These are perfect for Storage. We used them for chemicals (because we have a little one), holday decorations and miscellaneous decorations we use during certain times of the year. I Obviously all the big stuff still has to go somewhere else but it frees up a lot of space. We have 5 sets and they work great!

Great for storage above the garage door.
These worked great andand allow for different sized items to be hung from above. Wish they had higher eight capacity and were a bit longer.The end caps don't stay very well and I want to say they are structural so that's a worry.

Low profile, but.......
It’s definitely a low profile track, but carrying and sliding those black totes on the track u I s a workout. The track I received was slightly bent which made it even more challenging. End up returning it.
