When I first opened this package I was happy to see the small attention to detail of a dust bag, a nice box, and twine to make it look like a gift. This does fit Field Notes/passport size notebooks, the leather is DIVINE! I absolutely love how thick the leather is as I won't be worried that it won't stand up to dozens of opens and closes, and coming in and put of my pocket. The pen loop on the inside is really small so you will have to use a thin pen or make sure you have a pocket clip for your larger pens. I use a Jinhao fountain pen with this and the penholder is too small. Otherwise this is a beautifully made, sturdy, great value for the price.

This cover is a perfect fit for my field book and has exceeded expectations. The build quality is excellent, especially at this price point, it feels durable, looks clean and professional, and holds up well with daily use. Surprisingly good quality. Seems like real leather, sturdy, supple and soft enough to not be cumbersome in a pocket, but not too soft to were it won't hold it's shape. Rally happy with it, well worth the money.

The quality of the field note book looks and feels very nice, I'm very happy with the purchase. Dont be fooled with the picture as it does not come with the note paper, that needs to be purchased separately. When you buy the paper it can have ruled lined or graph paper. Read the fine print, that's why this got 4 stars

I was on the fence about this field note sized leather book cover. It was extremely well priced and there were comments about the shortness of the pen loop that made me hesitant. I ended up ordering it anyway because I have also been thinking of getting one of their art folios for sketching and this would be a good way to see the leather quality. The Robrasim Leather Journal Cover came in the mail yesterday and I tucked in my usual folder items. I generally carry a single field notes notebook, a narwhal company pen, and a few business cards. The notebook fit perfectly and doesn't move at all. I have full confidence it will stay and be protected by the notebook. What is said about the pen loop is true. If you put your pen inside the loop, it will lay along the notebook creating a bulge, not nestle in the spine as it should. However, I followed the advice of other reviewers and clipped my pen to the loop instead and my pen nestles perfectly. I think this notebook might work well with a quiver pen sleeve since it is sturdy enough. I like that it only has one business card pocket on the opposite side. It seems to have room for a short stack of business cards and I find that to be more functional for me than a single card slot. Overall, the pen loop issue is not enough to be a deal breaker for me. The quality of the leather is far better than I expected and the handstitching is well done. I don't forsee losing stitches any time soon. The handfeel and scent of the leather is wonderful. This cover would make a great stocking stuffer for the holidays or as a writer gift. Five stars.

This is the perfect pocket sized holder for your pocket size journal I work in an office, but often have to go to the shop floor. Taking this in my pocket is very useful. Quality is great. Durability is great. I’ve had it for several months now. Nothing has broken fallen apart. Have had a laser edge my name into it the front and back and it is still perfect.

So here's the thing I wanted to know: is the leather stiff? Like is it going to want to hang open instead of lying nicely closed when I close it? Is it rigid, in other words? Well, the answer is a resounding NO. This leather is softer than your inner thigh. This is some extremely nice leather. With excellent stitching. The onlyest thing I would change - and it's not a big complaint, just a design mention if I were to make one myself - would be to move the pen loop a little closer to the middle. As it is, when you close the journal with a pen in it, the pen rests on the spine of your field notes book. Meh. It still lies closed really nicely. It will fit in your front pocket, but it takes up the whole thing. I think I could get used to it, but I picture this as more of a purse item. Which is fine. I almost always carry a purse. I slipped a couple of my business cards in the little visible pocket, and there's room for more stuff behind that. I just couldn't be happier with this product.

Absolutely love this leather folder. I was not expecting much but was amazed at the quality and functionality of this little cover. It is sturdy for my needs to carry everywhere but gently soft even for my very painfully sore hands. I can fit in my field notes notebook easily, but I also fit in some 3x5 index cards and several post-sheets. And I can tuck in a few business cards and receipts securely. This will be my active everyday carry. You cannot beat the price either. And the coffee color is so perfect for me. I think I have solved my Christmas list needs for everyone this year. I love this cover. If I would lose it, not likely, I would replace it at once. Thank you so much for this wonderful business and personal business tool.

やっと見つけたという印象です。スマホ時代の手帳って何だろう。予定はカレンダー、ToDoと資料はevernote、一体手帳の役割って何？そこでたどり着いたのがこれ。コンセプトは落書きと空想。お気に入りのペンで絵を描きながら自由に妄想する。楽しい。運が良ければ面白いアイデアが浮かぶこともある。このレザーカバーはそういうツール一式を持って歩くことが出来る小さなカバンのようなもの。気に入りました。

馬革でイメージしていた光沢は無いが、中身～カレンダーレフィルを入れ替えながら長く使えるといいな。
