A well designed and easily controlled light…
An excellent light for my desktop computer. The features and functionality of this light far exceeded what I expected. It costs a bit more but it’s worth the investment. The IR sensor which turns the light on and off is a great feature. It functions without my input and once set, it operates seamlessly without any thought or input. It uses touch controls and can easily be adjusted. It’s pretty much set and forget although it’s easily adjusted if needed. The light doesn’t interfere with your work and for designers, it doesn’t interfere with the color coming from your monitor.

Perfect Fit for My Curved Monitor Setup
This light bar really exceeded my expectations. It fits seamlessly on my 34” curved Dell monitor, and the silver color blends in perfectly, sleek, clean, and not distracting at all. It’s also super lightweight, so it doesn’t feel bulky or awkward up top. What really impressed me is the mounting design. It uses these soft rubber “clamps” (for lack of a better word) that grip the monitor really well without damaging or scratching anything. It feels secure, even on a curved screen, and doesn’t budge once in place. I’m powering it straight through a USB-C port on my monitor, so no need for wall adapters or extra cables cluttering the desk. The lighting itself is excellent, fully adjustable brightness and color temp, with a nice downward angle that avoids glare completely. I was worried it might feel harsh or distracting, but it’s the exact opposite. Super comfortable, even after hours of use. Bonus features like the motion sensor and webcam mounting clip just round it out. Thoughtful details all around. If you’ve got a curved monitor and want a clean, functional lighting upgrade, this one nails it.

game-changer for anyone who spends long hours at their desk
The BenQ ScreenBar Pro is a game-changer for anyone who spends long hours at their desk. This sleek LED monitor light provides excellent illumination without taking up any extra space. The ultrawide illumination is perfect for lighting up my entire workspace, and the adjustable brightness and color temperature make it easy to customize the lighting to my needs. The motion sensor is a fantastic touch—it automatically turns on when I sit down, adding an extra level of convenience. The build quality is premium, and the modern design blends seamlessly with my setup. I also appreciate that the glare-free light doesn’t reflect on my monitor, which makes it perfect for long work sessions or nighttime use. Setup was incredibly simple, and the light stays securely in place on my monitor without any need for screws or clamps. While it’s on the pricier side, the functionality and quality make it worth every penny. If you’re looking to upgrade your workspace lighting, the BenQ ScreenBar Pro is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

Outstanding in nearly every way. But here's a reason why you might not want to buy it...
My office isn't well-lit. For years, I've been using a desk lamp, which is essential for reading and writing, but my desk isn't huge and the lamp reduces the amount of useable workspace. Amazon somehow sensed my frustration and suggested this BenQ monitor light bar. The price ($120) seemed a bit high for what you get, but I figured I'm not just getting a light, I'm freeing up space which will really be useful almost every time I need to work at my desk. So I bit the bullet and ordered one. I've been using it for a month now, and I really love it. Setup was easy and fast. All the controls are on the top of the light bar and they're touch controls. It's easy to adjust the brightness and the color temperature (warm vs. cool light) to your exact liking. There is no learning curve, everything just works, you don't have to think about it or read a manual. It has a feature that turns the light on whenever it senses movement within a couple feet. Practically, it turns the light on when I sit down at my desk and turns it off about 10 or 15 minutes after I leave. I love that it's powered by USB-C, rather than batteries you have to replace when they wear out. Like many monitors, mine has extra USB-C ports for peripherals, but the ports also provide power to accessories like this light. Okay, so why should you consider NOT buying this? Simple: Amazon sells other monitor light bars that do almost everything this one does for half the price (or less). I decided to get a second monitor light bar for my office at work, and I was about to buy another one of these. But the Amazon algorithm showed me other monitor light bars that cost less, by a brand called Quntis. They make a variety, ranging from $40 to $70. I bought a 20" wide Quntis model for $55. For me, the Quntis has one disadvantage. Almost all of their models, including the one I bought, has a separate remote controller that's about the size and shape of a hockey puck. And it uses 3 AA batteries (included in the package, thankfully). I strongly prefer the all-in-one operation of the more expensive BenQ. My desk gets pretty cluttered, and things on my desk sometimes get misplaced. Without the Quntis remote, you simply cannot use the light bar. Also, the adjustments to brightness and color temperature have only four levels; with the BenQ, it's easy to dial in the exact brightness and temperature you want. Looking at the user reviews of the Quntis light bars, many people say they like the separate remote. You might, too. Hardly anyone complains about the lack of fine adjustments to brightness and color temperature that you get with the BenQ but not the Quntis. I really can't recommend spending $120 for the BenQ when for $55-ish you can get a Quntis that does practically everything the BenQ does, with very minor compromises that most people can life with. That said, I'm not sending my BenQ back to get a refund and buy another Quntis.

GORGEOUS MONITOR LIGHT BAR
BenQ definitely makes the best monitor light bar out there, for the premium price that is. Just started to build my setup and decided to get a monitor light for it and I personally think it looks great. Extremely easy to set up, you just use the clip on the light bar to clip onto your monitor. It’s very light weight and stable, even if I shake my table the light bar stays right in place. The light comes with a night light setting as well as easy brightness adjusters and such. There is NO RGB for any enthusiasts out there, so it integrates better into minimalist designs that you’ll see a lot more of nowadays. My monitor is a Samsung Odyssey 32” G80sd OLED if anyone has the same monitor I definitely recommend it. I tested it with other monitors such as other Samsung odyssey models as well as most Asus monitors, it fits fine. ONE MAJOR PROBLEM would be if you have a monitor with one of those big circles on the back or anything that obstructs the clip from clipping on sturdily. Other from that I think it’s a beautiful monitor light, totally worth the price. If you’re looking for more affordable options under the $100 margin a possible substitute could be the light bar from XIAOMI ($~65)

Glare-free pool of light for your desktop
I'm so glad to have found this light! I like that it is up out of the way without cluttering my desk. It casts a very even pool of light on my desk, and even to the sides a bit, without highlighting the surface of my ultra-wide curved monitor. The automatic on/off works well sensing my presence, and not turning on if I simply walk into my office. I have to pretty much sit down at my desk to have it turn on. I wasn't immediately aware you can adjust the angle of the light bar housing. When I first installed it on my monitor it was glaring into my eyes just slightly. I later discovered the light bar easily adjusts just by rotating the aluminum shade with my fingers. I like the adjustable color temperature. Automatic brightness mode, though, limits you to a middle-of-the-road white temperature. I prefer cool light in the mornings and warmer colors in the evening, so I have set the Favorite button to warmest/dimmest. That's my "done with my workday" button. I knocked a star because of the limitation of auto-brightness having a non-adjustable color temperature. As well, this really should adjust color temperature automatically, either by schedule or a ambient color temperature sensor. There is no detectible flicker, either, even when waving something quickly in the light. That's a major plus. CRI is also very good with accurate colors. I was surprised how good the bowl of fresh berries I bright into my office looked.

Perfect addition to my setup
I've been wanting one of these monitor lights for a while to replace my cheap desk lamp, and I finally got around to purchasing one. I was debating between this and the Halo 2, but ultimately opted for this one as I prefer not to have additional remotes on my desk that require batteries. The light pattern is perfect and does not cause any glare on the monitor. It can get VERY bright even in the daytime and the color temperature adjustment also works well. The motion sensor is my favorite feature of this lightbar and it works perfectly, I don't even have to touch it unless I'm adjusting the brightness. I got it on sale for Black Friday but I would gladly pay full price for it, it's well worth it for the quality of life.

Good feature and light quality
There are many features to like for me. 1. They auto sensing your presence works well. Its detection area is good in that it you have to be in the sitting position and on the desk area. For an example, it does not turn on when you just walk to it and just stand near sitting chair. However, when I put my phone down near one side of my keyboard, it automatically turns on while I was standing. Very good coverage area that isn't too wide or too narrow. 2. Adjustment buttons are touch sensitive. That means in theory zero force needed to control the light bar and as the result no movements or vibrations are transferred to monitor (may cause wobbling) or light bar itself (so no slightly out of position overtime). 3. Like the LEDs indicating current controls that are active - automatic on/off enabling/disabling, brightness settings etc. One minor issue thought, the turning off/on button itself does not have LED indicator. For those who sometimes need to turn off the bar right away (rather than let it go off automatically some time later on) and the room is dark (except the light from the bar), it is hard to find the on/off button without backlight LED like other control buttons. That is the reason that one star is taken off. 4. Auto brightness feature is good and seems to work well for me the way it adapt to surroundings light. 5. Total brightness, it has plenty of of brightness. My preference is even less than half for most of the time. 6. Area of coverage is great. It lights up the screen without causing any reflection from the screen. It also lights up the working space in front of you. The bar can be rotated slightly to increase desk area coverage. It should cover most use cases well, however. 7. I have not adjust any temperature setting from the bar. The default warmness is good and should be good for photo editing as well. At least it includes cool/warm light settings. 8. Installation is easy and simple. 9. Build quality is excellent. Packaging is also premium inside the box. The box itself is plain like cardboard box but items inside are well packaged with protection materials on the bar (sleeves) and other items that are included. The box is very sturdy (although it serve one time but it shows how attention to details by BenQ). Very good product.
