Great quality & excellent value
Great quality, and looks much more expensive than it was, especially as I purchased when there was a promotion on. Bought as a gift and the recipient is very happy. The storage for the pieces is really useful and so far (7 months on) it's stayed snug and nothing falls out. The magnetic strength is spot on

Great sturdy set
Great item, my son is just starting to learn chess and was using a basic set from a games compendium. This board is great quality and the pieces have a good weight, the pieces being magnetic is an added bonus. Further bonus is having the option of draughts as my chess skills are very much lacking! The draughts pieces are not magnetic but this doesn’t affect the quality of the set.

Great starter set for my daughter, she loves it. After I looked it over I can confirm the board had the smallest of scratches, but I'm talking so small your face needs to be about 1cm from the board to see it lol. So id say for the money this is perfectly fine. Would highly recommend.

Nice chess/checkers set, great gift
This lovely chess set is a perfect gift; our granddaughter loves it. It is both a chess and checker set, and is of very nice quality, and has a nice carry case. I'm very happy with it.

Where else can you buy a chess set? Great choice on Amazon and this one is really good! Bought for a 7year old so being magnetic is even better.
