BrüMate Hopsulator Trio 3-in-1 Insulated Can Cooler for 12oz / 16oz Cans + 100% Leak Proof Tumbler with Lid | Insulated for Beer, Soda, and Energy Drinks

I'll admit that I rather like to drink beer in 16oz cans. I'd been using those free 12oz foam koozies you get, and they're OK, but I decided I'd like a 16oz one. Started looking on Amazon and discovered "they" make insulated stainless coolers. Not being on-board giving money to that "Abominable" company that makes a similar product (and unfortunately supports political views I don't approve of), I decided to give this item a try. I am glad I did! This product is well engineered and works wonderfully. I am impressed by everything, even the clever packaging. In the package, you get the cooler, a can insert, a 12oz adapter, and a sealing lid from which you may drink. The cooler itself is constructed from nice, heavy stainless steel. I got the plain SS finished version, but I'm sure the other colors/patterns are just as good. I like that the cooler has two "flats" on either side to help orient it in your hand. They also make it easier to grip when changing out cans or screwing/unscrewing the drink lid. Another nice touch is the rubberized coating on the bottom of the cooler, making it less likely you'll commit the cardinal sin of spilling your beer! The cooler comes with the can insert installed. It is a tough, rubbery "gasket" that screws into the cooler. This provides a perfect, almost air-tight seal on a standard 16oz can (I'm partial to Guinness, but can also attest that it works with PBR and Miller High Life). I like that you simply push the can into the cooler without having to unscrew the lid, insert your beer, then screw it back on like you do with some other brands. It fits the can tightly, it isn't coming out unless you want it to. To remove, just grasp the top of the can and pull. You can actually feel a slight vacuum as it releases. Then pop in another one (you ARE having more than one, aren't you)? Want to drink something, hot or cold, that's not in a can? Simply unscrew the can insert and use the, for want of a better term, dispensing cover. This plastic, o-ringed cover screws into the cooler for a very tight seal. The flip-up cover for the dispensing orifice snaps down to seal the hole with a rubber stopper. This cover stays down when put down, and up when put up to drink. If you're traveling, flip the lock to make it spill resistant. This is great for drinking coffee or whatever when out and about. Also included, though I'll admit I've not tried it yet, is a plastic insert that you may drop into the cooler for use with 12oz cans. I'll likely give this a workout soon, as I'm craving some Modelo Especial and that's only available in 12oz cans in this area. Conclusion: This is a very nice product that does exactly what it's advertised to do. I love it when a product just plain works! I don't know how you can go wrong with this cooler, whether you're drinking hot or cold beverages, it will do the job, and do it well. Excellent value for money, in my opinion. Update 12/14/23--So I went against my own advice and didn't remove the drink cover after a day of enjoying cheap Coffee Brandy and 2% milk (pretty yummy, once in a while) and the next day, that lid was glued on there permanently. No amount of hot water, soaking in soapy water for three days, the application of various rubber objects to increase purchase, nor tapping (hoping to not break) the raised plastic part of the lid had ANY effect. Just plain stuck. So, naturally, I did what the manufacturer specifically says not to do--I stuck it (empty) into the freezer and forgot about it for a day. Took it out, and that cover screwed right off, lickety split. No damage at all to any component of the cooler. So, although of course I'd never suggest anyone go against the manufacturer's orders, this is the answer (YMMV, of course).

This keeps drinks cooler, longer. I really loved the versatility, as it fits different-sized cans, whether it's a regular 12-ounce can or a tall Monster 16-ounce can. I got the all-black, matte-finished version. Looks great! It's durable, and even after dropping, it doesn't get scratched or dented. It appears to stay clean, but wiping it with a damp towel or even washing it is a simple enough process. I will say it took me a minute to figure out how to open all of it, to accomodate different sizes, but once I did, it seemed like a simple process.

As a loyal 4 letter brand fan, I didn’t expect to be swayed—but the BrüMate Hopsulator Trio is seriously making a strong first impression. What really stands out is its versatility. Not only does it keep beer cold for hours, but it also works as a tumbler and includes a 12oz can adapter—making it perfect for just about any drink situation. I recently took it on my first all-inclusive trip and immediately realized the value of having something lightweight and easy to carry. My regular large cup was bulky, and the cap didn’t feel secure, which made it a bit of a hassle to lug around all day. The Trio, on the other hand, feels thoughtfully designed for on-the-go life. It’s sturdy, well-built, and doesn’t weigh you down. I’ll be taking it with me again on my next trip at the end of the month, and I’m excited to see how it holds up. Based on first impressions and strong reviews, this might become my new go-to. Stay tuned for the update—it just might retire my other version

This is a great product. I use is as can drink holder and so far in my personal testing of leaving a unopened drink in my vehicle the drink was still nice and cold after 8 hours. I am in South Texas and even though it is winter we still hit 70 plus degrees.

High quality can koozie that doubles as a leak proof tumbler? What more could you ask for? I bought this primarily for the leak proof tumbler for my morning coffee. Surprisingly it hard to find a leak proof tumbler that fits under a kurig machine. I add a mix to my coffee and shake it up so leak proof was a must. The fact that it’s so functional and can hold multi sizes of cans as well is just an added bonus. It’s also dishwasher safe and super easy to clean. I didn’t want one of those tumblers that has springs and mechanisms in the lid as they are hard to clean or you have to take apart half a dozen items. I love the matte finish of the blue that I got. I’m dropping one star for two reasons. It’s a bit expensive but all these types of things are over priced and the tumbler lid doesn’t have the best design for actually drinking. It works but it could be better.

I love this thing! I had one for 8 years, but sadly I left it in a duck blind! So I bought a new one!!! It keeps my Monster cold for hours! And I occasionally use the short can adapter for 12oz cans as well. This keeps a drink nice and cold for a long time!!!

I think there's confusion about the can holding ring. It ships with a metal placeholder inside it, I think to protect it. If you're wondering what this metal thing with the small hole in the middle is, it's not to hold up the cans or anything like that, it's just a holder you need to slide the can ring off of. I tried to make it clear in my pictures. Once I figured that out this can holder worked great. The freezer puck is nice too but I already have it in my freezer. If you're not using the puck and you have a regular sized 12oz can you can use the closed lid to make a kind of can vault that stays cold for a really long time.

Great product

Got it for my husband for his birthday. He loves it. It looks very nice, keeps the drink cold. I love that he can use 2 different can sizes and that it comes with a lid for when he wants to have his mixed drinks or any sort of drink. This is a must have for the cottage! One cup for everything! I wanted the slim version for myself as I drink skinny cans occasionally however, I'm bummed it doesn't come with a lid option, it can only be used with a skinny can. Please make a lid for skinny can size! Multi purpose use is key!!!
