A Must Have (but I don't work for 'Rolling Stone')
It has been 50 years, more or less, since Jimi Hendrix was discovered, found fame, and sadly passed away. For the Hendrix family and Eddie Kramer etc. to be able to put together something of this magnitude, after all these years, is a tribute to them and Hendrix himself. There is talk of 'scraping the barrel' but what do you actually expect to hear after all thes years? This is basically a chance to hear Hendrix and friends, including the original Experience and Band of Gypsys, jamming in the studio. No pressure, no strings attached, just raw music. If you are hoping to discover a new, never before heard track along the lines of 'Voodoo Chile' or 'Purple Haze' then you are dreaming. Go look for a unicorn instead. This is a fantastic insight into the depth and diversity of Hendrix, some beautiful music, and any true fan would be (and should be) very glad to add this to their collection.

Superb album!
I have almost everything ever released by Hendrix and feared this might be a selection of poor outtakes. However this is one of the best Jimi Hendrix albums ever! Sounds like it could have been that fourth studio album that he never quite got finished before his untimely death. A great album if you’re an old Hendrix fan or new to his work!

HENDRIX, Both sides of the sky.
This is an album of 13 previously unreleased tracks by Jimi, aimed more at the hardcore fan than casual listener.I really like the tracks Hear my train a comin', Stepping stone, Power of soul, Things I used to do, Georgia blues, Wood stock, Send my love to Linda and Cherokee mist.I love the use of the electric sitar on Cherokee mist, it made a real difference to the track.

Eddie Kramer has done an excellent job with this Hendrix CD
Eddie Kramer has done an excellent job with this Hendrix CD, I enjoyed listening to every track, and would like to hear more of what Stephen Stills has recorded with Jimi. Years ago the music press reported there was enough songs for a complete album.

Yes a good posthumous Hendrix album.
Considering Jimi would not have released these songs in their present state as they don't meet his exacting standards, this is an excellent posthumous album featuring some great covers, song material in the making and some great lead, rhythm and bass guitar work from Jimi.

SUBLIME
The genius that is Jimi Hendrix - album appears to be studio outtakes and jamming but is just sublime Jimi none the less. Only guitarist that can be recognised from a few notes as far as I am concerned
