It is better than the other tech wheels. It centres the whole kayak other kayak wheels just falling off Centre every time you turn this one acts like a bout lunch trailer

Love the cart, use it for a perception outlaw, only criticisms are, (for my use case) I needed to add pool noodles to the top rails for 2 reasons. 1- The foam that comes on it is very slick when wet and has a tendency to slide up the kayak while loading. 2- I needed about 1/2 inch more clearance to be sure the tires didn't rub (they only just touched, sometimes). 3- this is more of a wishful thinking thing but, it's a bit heavy, and not something I carry with me on the yak. Usually take it back to the truck or chuck it in the weeds and come back for it later! Overall it's a great cart and I have dragged the yak full of gear (125-145lb) down goat paths through the woods to get to spots, (even stacked my brothers kayak on top of mine one time and did this) and it's held up great! If loaded properly it's like lifting nothing and it pulls great, even over small trees! Very nice cart for the price! Actually this review reminds me I need to order a second one for the other kayaks! Oh and for the ai, it makes no noise and bearings are smooth. Holds a lot more weight than it was meant for!

Once assemble tightly, this is mighty sturdy. A good way to strap on your canoe or kayak, that'll take some experimenting. I had to add an old bike innertube looped around the handlebars to get anything to stay in place while hauling it around.

I bought this to use with a fishing kayak that weighs around 150lb loaded, and have no negative things to say about how it held up under that weight, but there are a few things I’d like to share that make it not so great for my application: 1: it’s heavy, especially compared to other carts. 2: the single bolt to hold on the bunks to the axle act as a bit of a hinge and allows the bunks to wobble a good bit. Even though the large diameter wheels will roll over rough terrain better than most other carts, the wobbling bunks shifting combined with the high center of gravity from such a tall cart made it very unstable and my kayak and cart flipped numerous times on a path that other carts didn’t have this problem with. 3: the bulk and no quick disassembly. The very large wheels and wide width make it a challenge to store in most tank wells, I would imagine. It certainly is a challenge to store in mine. Overall, a poor choice for my application and honestly most kayak anglers would probably find a better option elsewhere. However, people looking to tow behind a bike or for long stretches over a pavement or a gravel trail, this would be a perfectly acceptable option. The bearings on the wheels would allow it to roll at high speeds (bike) without wearing. It is also worth noting that once you have determined the correct bunks width setting, it is simple to reinforce the bunks by placing a section of 2x4 in between them as a brace with a cam strap around to hold secure. This takes away a lot of the wobbling.

We use this for an inflatable GoBoat and it works perfectly. It's sturdy and super easy to use.
