Works as described
I have a wooden Beagle named Benny Jr that I put out by van while camping that most people get a kick out of, now it's even more fun with the motion activated barking! Lol

Great idea.
I am using this as a deterrent in the hope of making bad people think twice about prowling my home. I use it in the default dog barking mode. I think it sounds pretty good and is loud enough. Sounds like a barking dog to me thru the door. I question why they put the USB power port on the transmitter when there would be no place to plug it in on the outside of the house and no USB on the receiver inside the house that can access the power. Also, at least in my case, I want the transmitter as inconspicuous as possible to foil those bad guys, and yet they put a bright blinking light on the transmitter which cannot be shut off. One more oddity is that the transmitter (which is outside and hopefully not easily accessible) has an on' off switch yet the receiver (which is inside the house) does not have an on/off. To my thinking, the light, USB port and on/off should be on the receiver not the transmitter. Guess they had other ideas. Thankfully, I can get around my situations and I do think this product is a great idea.

It's loud
I almost didn't buy this because of some of the reviews mentioning that it was not loud enough. Well they either had bad batteries or maybe the one I got is from a new batch and a new factory or something, but these things are very loud. It accidentally came on while I was setting it up and it was all I could do to get it to go back off because no one could hear the TV! No problem with the volume level here! Since I just received it today I'll add more about longevity, volume levels(which is adjustable), and range, but I just really wanted to get something out there right now to say, "there is no problem with the Volume Level!" IT'S LOUD!!! :)

Easy to install but sounds tinny after a few plays
I bought this for the dog bark. It went up just great and senses motion through the wall as described. T.he only problem is that it played about 3 times, it began to sounds fake. The first few times it played, it sounded real, like a real dog--it began to deteriorate fast and now it sounds like a recording. Too bad as everything else works wonderfully.

Worked for a while.
The device worked fine from the beginning, although I was not really happy with the sound of barking - it was quite obviously not real if one listens carefully. But for the price, I was ok with that. After a couple of months it stopped working. I replaced batteries in both pasrts of the device - nothing doing. The trasmitter still seems to tramsit as the light goes off when it is triggerred, but the receiver is not responding. Then I noticed a brownish residue behind the batteries compartment of the receiver, as if something leaked from the inside. My receiver stays in the house so it could not have been any dirt or weather impact. I think the receiver went bad for some internal reason. Not a good product if within weeks in stops working.

Digital Dog Sound
If you're going to use the dog barking feature, it's not really going to fool a burglar unless they're tone death or madly afraid of dogs to notice the sound cues. The dog barking sound that comes out of the speaker is like one you see in a kid's piano playset. The speakers on the device is not that good, and makes an electrical static pause after each bark. Motion sensor works great though. Can be used for other applications like if a baby or pet exits a open room with one opening/exit, a signal in the hallway to notify you that someone may enter your room, or someone entering a shop main doors with the chime alert. Does not come with batteries. Requires 3 AAA and 3AA batteries. You can also use a plug into a 5V DC wall adapter if you want, which is also not included. Build quality is not that great. As long as you don't drop it or toss it around a lot; it's capable. Definitely not weather proof Overall as a motion sensor it works okay, but as a security device it's a horrible investment
