So far so great!
This thing is seriously powerful. The pull to start it is very short which was a pleasant surprise, and it fired right up on the second pull (first pull did the pretend start with choke on, moved to half choke, second pull, fired up, set to open choke and it purred beautifully). It is semi-heavy, I can't really see people of small frame not struggling with it a bit but the "pack" frame is sturdy and distributes the weight well so once you have it on your back you should be fine no matter your size. It's that initial "umph" to pick it up and put your arms through the straps where lighter framed folks might find a bit of a struggle. I say this as a 6'4" 260 lb man, btw.So far used it once to test it out. We already have leaves falling in a noticeable amount, so I had a good test ground for it. The wind coming out of the front of it is a veritable hurricane of force, and you can move leaves from entire swaths of your yard just by standing in one place, and it pushes them out there quite a bit.In short, trial run, it's my Minigun from Predator mowing down leaves and pummeling them into submission. LOVE IT! Will follow up review after autumn is over for a full season review.

Wow, Great Machine!
I was definitely nervous when the box arrived. It was open and definitely beat up! Could use a bit more packing protection inside since it seems like a gorilla got to it during shipping. I thought I was going to have to return it. But as it turned out everything was still in the box and assembly was easy. It fired up right away and has been working reliably like a champ all summer. The real test is coming in the next couple of months when the leaves begin to fall. This machine is NOT HEAVY for the size and power it puts out. It's very comfortable to wear when adjusted properly and it blows very strongly! Exactly what you want in this type of Machine. The tube parts could be a bit more snug but overall they connect well.I couldn't Ask for more bang for your buck! I'm very happy with this product and I look forward to using it for years to come.

Cat 4 Hurricane on Your Back
Holy cow. Itโs a little beast. I have several Dino blowers, a few that push about 200mph. But NOT the volume this Prorun. It moves leaves. A lot of leaves. Pile them up in a three foot berm including wet leaves, gum balls, acorns, pine straw, small animals, and it pushes it where you need it with ease.Starting is kinda weird. Simple choke, un hole but itโs the pull that is really odd. Starts easily but has a resistance and onlyEngages the motor on the last 1/4 of the pull. No matter. Itโs well worth it. For the posters who complain about the tubes blowing off, push them on completely and twist them until they lock. And itโs not that heavy. 24 lbs Iโm 60 with a crappy back. Itโs fine.

Overall a great blower for the price with some minor flaws
This blower has a lot of power and gets some tough jobs done with ease. Have had it for 6 months and so far no issues. The reason I didn't give it five stars, is the starter switch. It feels thin, easily breakable and is tight which also makes it easy to snap off. I have to be very careful toggling it. The straps could also use some better design. Hard to get on your back unless you have a place to rest it close to shoulder height.

Lots of CFM for not a lot of money
I am sixty eight years old. I basically live in the woods on five acres. When I moved here I purchased a leaf collection system that fit on a trailer that works off the mowing deck of my tractor. Don't get me wrong it collects and mulches the leaves but the amount of dust and dirt that it kicks up and the constant dumping makes gathering leaves from 164 trees on the inside perimeter of my yard a six to eight week task every fall. I also have a weed eater with a blower attachment but about five minutes of use my back was killing me and I knew there had to be a better way. I decided to get a backpack blower and I wanted one with high velocity at a decent price so I purchased the Prorun blower. When I first got it I was concerned about the weight on my back but the weight didn't seem to affect me, I can run out a tank of gas without having to stop wereas my weed eater blower atttachment had myback hurting in a matter of minutes. This blower will move a three foot high and ten foot thick row of leaves with ease, I bought this about half way through the leaf season and it did not take long to finish up the job. I could not be happier with it, next year will be a lot easier because of it. It is well worth the money and the savings on your back.

Do not buy
Terrible support. Worked once for 10 min. Went to turn on again and just wonโt turn over. Support said I used wrong 2 cycle engine oil so they voided my warranty and blocked a return. That wasnโt the issue. As the repair center I brought it to said, itโs a piece of garbage. 400 dollars down the drain. Buy a better brand with better support for another 100 dollars

Great so far - New Owner
I have only used this blower a few times but, it has performed very well. I have 1/2 acre of land with 12 50+ year old live oak trees that drop a lot of leafs and acorns all year. This blower has no issues with large volumes even when wet. It took a few times to get the shoulder straps adjusted just right but, after that it was comfortable even for long periods of time. I have no report on longevity since I just started using it, Seems well made.

Somewhat concerned
I used the unit for 90 minutes and it overheated. I confirmed I used the right mix and the fuel was good. Iโm not sure what happened. Iโm going to try it again but with a no return policy this is a little alarming. The power was fantastic when it was running. Hoping itโs ok.

Strong blower/ great machine
It moves an incredible amount of leaves, wet and dry mixed small branches, pinecones, dog waste. A bit loud but I wear my ear protection and its ok. The only thing that doesn't work is the stop switch but if you put in the chocke it stops. Very easy to start. Pull cord doesn't take a lot of effort and is only a short pull but works best if you pull straight up. I highly recommend this blower. "" Update"" still working amazingly well. Stop switch is working well now. I had to push it up really hard then it clicked into place and turned the engine off. After having done this the seitch is not as hard to push up anymore but it still takes a good push on it. I believe that is intentional as I don't want it to shut down when I am only wanting to throttle down.

Starter pull cord problems
So far, I'm not happy. The starter pull cord system is not working correctly; it is only turning the engine about a 1/4 of the pull. The engine did start with this up until the weather got Canadian colder. which now makes it as bad as my Makita 4-stroke engine that also won't start in the cold.

Doesn't like running in the winteret
Hard to start. It does not like running in the cold or blowing snow.
