I loved this pasta! It was delicious with sautéed zucchini, onions and garlic, topped with olive oil and pecorino romano grating cheese. The texture was a little different the first day because I didn’t cook it long enough ( now I know!) but it was marvelous the second day after putting it aside as left overs. I LOVE how nutritious it is! Forget gluten free- GO TUMMINIA! It’s like supplements levels of nutrition!!Also it’s true what they say about it not spiking your blood sugar. My friend is diabetic and he wanted to try it so he gave himself a normal dose of insulin that he normally would to enjoy some pasta. However this didn’t spike his blood sugar AT ALL so his blood sugar tanked because it didn’t do what he expected with the dose he took preventatively! No worries he ok😅And what this means is he has found a pasta that he can eat on a regular basis without the normal dose of insulin required for other pastas! That’s great news for him!!The staff is friendly and helpful and I recommend this product 💯 ( also they really are in Sicily and I plan on visiting their farm the next time I visit)

I love the health benefits of this wonderful pasta first and foremost! Then there’s the taste😊! It has a rich nutty flavor that I love! This pasta is easily prepared and even comes with a recipe 😊! Who could ask for anything more🤷🏼‍♀️?

This is not a "background" pasta - it's assertive and has a taste of its own, similar in assertiveness to buckwheat. The texture is definitely whole grain, but not mealy at all. I find it particularly suits rustic sauces, or just oil or butter. Worth the price.

The pasta has a great flavor on its own AND the shape is wonderful for holding sugo.

Our whole family truly loved this amazing and unique pasta made from an interesting ancient grain. It’s rare to find something so healthy and wholesome that’s this enjoyable. Definitely a cut above most other pastas in terms of both nutrition and quality. It was a delicious way to get back in touch with my Sicilian roots, with an authentic taste of the old country. I will definitely be purchasing it again!

We specifically ordered this because it says no folic acid but it has folate

Well, its hard to stomach weevils in your rice and pasta if you are not used to it. Its globally common and harmless. I gave 3 stars because it was more like an infestation than a few weevils. Its highly frowned upon because to bring it into your home, means that its highly possible to infest other grains in your pantry. I counted 7 floating up in just one handful of pasta in a bowl of water as the photo shows. Then I mashed 3 more that found their way on my counter!!! Yikes! Thats more than I am used to. Makes me wonder how long it sits on the shelf before packaged. I ADVISE YOU IMMEDIATELY PUT THE PASTA IN THE FREEZER FOR 3 consecutive days to kill the possibility of weevils getting out when you open the bag.
