Bodycology Shea Butter Body Cream, Cherry Blossom, 8 oz

I’ve been meaning to try this body cream for quite some time to see what it’s like, and I wanted to try to find a pretty affordable brand. I find the scent of whipped vanilla to be more so of a fresh, floral scent with a touch of vanilla. I was hoping for a more gourmand kind of vanilla, but I still love this regardless! The longevity of the scent itself is kinda meh; at least for me and for this particular scent, it doesn’t last very long at all (definitely less than an hour). When applying the cream on the skin, it feels smooth and absorbs quickly, which I love. Not a heavy feeling whatsoever. Sadly, not super moisturizing for me, but then again, I have eczema, so my skin gets dry much more easily. Overall, I still love this body cream and would like to try some of the other scents to see if any of them are more long-lasting than whipped vanilla. For its size and price, it isn’t a shabby option at all! I have been using it daily and reapplying every so often. :^) ♡

I love the smell, it doesn't over power the senses. A good dupe for more expensive brands. This lotion absorbs quickly. Softens my skin and is moisturizing. The scent lasted all day for me. A good price. I will definitely buy again!

How have I been sleeping on this? Nicer than VS or B&BW body cream for a fraction of the cost. It's not just clean formula, nice fragrance. It actually moisturized for hours. The texture of the cream is thick and nourishing like something you would get in a high end brand name jar, but with a more casual fragrance. Will try other scents after I finish this one. Probably the Hawaiian one for summer. I'm a convert. It's also nice as a hand lotion. Absorbs quickly. No greasy residue. A winner.

I've tried one other Bodycology Shea butter Body Cream in "Fresh Clementine", and I recall it being exceptionally light in scent (almost unnoticeable), and heavy in moisturization. The Sweet Love scent is about the same. The scent is very, VERY light. It does have a sweetness to it, but nothing that is too overpowering or irritating to someone with sensitivities. It is THICK and a little bit goes a long way. I have mild eczema and tend to develop dry patches along with itchy patches. It's mild enough for me to use everyday and moisturizes enough for about 4hrs before I need to reapply. So, I'd say that the longevity is just 'okay'. This isn't likely for someone who is used to B&BW or heavier scented products. Bodycology creams tend to be much lighter in scent, but they moisturize well. It's a good option if you're looking for a solidly cost-effective product that delivers on moisturizing the way it's advertised, but the scents are likely to leave you feeling a little underwhelmed. 4/5 👍🏼

LOVE the scent; though light and will fade. Lovely just the same. Great moisturizing. Not greasy. Absorbs quickly with no residue or streaking. Will buy again.

I love Bodycology!!! This smells absolutely amazing , I also picked up the body spray ...light , fresh scent that could be used day or night. the lotion itself is no greasy, absorbs into the skin and leaves your skin soft.

This is a decent lotion for the price. For around $4, it does moisturize fairly well and has a pleasant tropical scent that gives off a beachy vibe without being too strong. That said, compared to higher-end lotions like EOS or Bath & Body Works, it definitely falls short. It’s not as rich or long-lasting, and I find I need to reapply it more often throughout the day. The scent also doesn’t linger as nicely or feel as “layered” as more expensive brands. It’s not a bad product at all—just more of a basic, budget-friendly lotion. I’d use it in a pinch or for quick moisture, but it’s not one I’d reach for over my usual favorites. Good for the price, but I probably wouldn’t repurchase regularly.

I ordered this because my skin all over was so dry and flaky but lotions didn't work at all, I absolutely love it is thicker than the lotions but is easy to apply almost instantly solved the problem. Now it is part of my morning routine the scent is just right, even the little bumps on the back of my arms are gone, I love it so much I ordered another for my friend and another scent as well.
