Bolle Safety Rush+ Safety Glasses with Assembled Foam and Strap

I wear these for riding my jet skis/Seadoos and they are perfect for protecting my eyes from overspray and flying bugs and stuff like that. If they get wet from overspray, just wipe with your hand and they’ll dry almost immediately from the wind. Great product, both my son and I wear our own pairs and they are comfortable and do what they should in this use case scenario.

Worn as glasses they fit well and do not fog under normal circumstances but the foam liner also does not make full contact with your face. If you put on the strap you can put them in tighter but it still gaps for me at the far edges even pulled uncomfortable tight. They should have make the arms removable for use with the strap. Of course the foam gasket seal is a moot point as the top and bottom edges are full of holes to prevent fogging, which they do well even wearing with a mask but holes are holes. These will help a great deal if you have to talk face to face with a spitter but finer droplets floating in the air will go in the top and bottom.

Very well made and comfortable. Sits close to the eyes which stops particles from getting in and has enough ventilation that they dont fog up. Optics and overall design are great. These are great for workshop safety, sports or just about anything.

Working in a home shop under a car always has it's share of challenges. With standard safety glasses, rust and other debris tends to fall on your face and can easily get into your eyes. But the foam seal around the lenses eliminates errant debris from getting into your eyes. This feature is a big plus for those working underneath a car, or in similar situations where debris may enter from the top or sides of conventional safety glasses.

Maybe it's my cheekbones, or maybe it's just the shape of my face, but these glasses are definitely not a flush fit. There's gaps ranging between about 1/4 inch to flush fit between the foam gasket along the perimeter of the lenses and my face. Maybe if the gasket was thicker, or if I had a more narrow face, I'd get a perfect seal. But even if I did manage to get a perfect seal along the entire circumference of the lens, as other reviewers have mentioned, there's vent holes on both the top and the bottom of the glasses on the plastic frame that holds the foam gasket itself. This is great for venting out heat and water vapor to keep the lenses from fogging up, but these holes essentially render the glasses useless for keeping all small particles from floating down into your face and getting in your eyes, which was the main reason I bought these. I wear contact lenses, so whenever I get sawdust or some dust particle under my lens, it feels like someone is driving a nail through my eye. That being said, I have noticed a significant reduction in stuff getting in my eyes wearing these glasses versus the standard plastic safety glasses without the foam liner. So I guess there's that. On the plus side, these glasses are very lightweight and thanks to their crystal clear lenses, I don't feel like I have them on my face. With the added straps, they stay on my face and don't slip down when I get sweaty. Once they're on my face, I realize that I rarely have to adjust them. So far they've been great for doing stuff that doesn't generate a lot of dust (e.g. working under my car in this current oppressive heat wave), but it looks like I'm back to searching for something a bit more dust proof for when I'm doing woodworking or home maintenance.
