Really fun to assembly kept me sober 😂
I had so much fun with this! Great to build focus and patience. Fun and for mature age. Is not easy but is fun and entertaining. Got some delicate parts but is a great fit for a show case.

Functional fun
This was my first wood puzzle kit that I have assembled. I was amazed at how precisely all the pieces assembled. The pieces were easy to remove from the boards, and for the most part easy to fit into place. I can tell you that I did not break even one piece of the puzzle during assembly. They do provide extra pieces of many smaller parts, just in case you need them. I did take the advice of other builders and work on top of a towel. Should you then drop a small piece it wouldn't bounce away. The other good advice is to sand all parts to smooth the edges. Also, use plenty of wax when instructed to do so. It seems like a small piece of wax that they give you, but it is plenty large enough to apply it liberally. The puzzle will have to sit level to work correctly. Once level, only small adjustments were made to have it working smoothly. It was a very enjoyable build. I am sure to purchase another!

Difficult, but well worth it. Attention to detail is key. Lots of fun.
Although this was difficult, it was highly rewarding. You actually make the tools required to build it. I did break two pieces. One of them I had to glue myself (glue not included) and the other had a replacement part. It took a few weekends to put it all together and I totally enjoyed it. The description they have above is in pigeon English but the manual is extremely well written. I cannot overestimate how much fun I had putting this together and playing with it after it was done. Sometimes the marbles do jump out of the runs but it's all up to the randomness of where the balls fall, which makes it more fun. I would highly recommend this for the aspiring clockmaker or aged Lego builder. Be careful getting the pieces out of the frames so you do not break them. And read and re-read the instructions. You will be well rewarded. They say that glue is included in some kits but mine did not come with it. You do not need glue at all unless you break something. It says some kits do not come with wax (needed for lubricating parts). Mine did. But it says that due to import rules you might not get some. If you don't have any, then use the wax from a tea light. I cannot overestimate how much I enjoyed this.

GREAT PUZZLE
THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME BUILDING A ROKR 3D PUZZLE.. EVERYTHING WAS AS THEY SAID. LOTS OF FUN AND WILL LOOK FORWARD TO BUILDING MORE. OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS I HAVE BUILT MANY PUZZLES (ABOUT 100). GREAT JOB TO MAKE THIS SO EASY TO BUILD. INSTUCTIONS WERE GREAT AND ABOUT 40 TO 45 HOURS TO BUILD. AT 92 YEARS OLD AND ONLY WORKNG SOME DAYS I LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXT ONE. THANK YOU

Very fun
I have made about 20 different 3d puzzles and this was one of the best. Easy to follow instructions and pieces were very sturdy and fit together easily. I am definitely going to order more ROKR puzzles.

Perfect for fans of mechanical puzzles – but handle with care!
I thoroughly enjoyed assembling this ROKR Marble Spaceport. With 472 pieces, it’s a significant project that requires patience and a delicate touch. The mix of black-grey wood and acrylic gives it a really unique, modern look compared to other wooden puzzles. While some parts are quite fragile, I was happy to see that ROKR includes extras for many of the smaller, delicate components. A few things to watch for: Assembly: Some pieces require a bit of force to fit, which led to a few breaks. Take your time! Instructions: While helpful, pay close attention to the orientation of parts. I had to backtrack and disassemble a section because a piece was facing the wrong way, which interfered with later steps. Pro Tip: Be extremely liberal with the provided wax on the gears and tracks. You’ll be glad you did once the mechanical parts start moving. Performance: Watching the marbles navigate the spiral and vertical lifts is mesmerizing. However, it isn't a "set it and forget it" toy. Marbles occasionally jam at the trapdoors and fall off the track, and the motor is a bit loud for continuous use. Despite these small quirks, I loved it enough to buy the Marble Night City (LGA01) kit, which connects directly to this one to create an even larger marble run! I can’t wait to see them working together.

Neat ROKR model with a unique and fun ball climbing mechanism.
Neat ROKR model with a unique and fun ball climbing mechanism. One of the fun things about these wooden marble runs is the variety of methods used to get the steel balls up to the highest point. This one is a fun twist on that, with an inventive lift mechanism that works great. The rest of the kit is just as enjoyable to assemble and play with. Would certainly recommend this kit for anyone that loves these wooden marble run kits!

Age restriction is no joke
I am putting this together with a 9 year old. They would not be able to do this on their own -- but we knew that going into the purchase. It's really fun to put together as a team -- they do what they can (which is quite a lot), while I do the fiddly bits like removing the delicate pieces from their mold, managing the teensy little washers that hold the axels together and quality assurance/troubleshooting for assemblies. Quality of the pieces is really high. Instructions are great. And so far, assemblies seem to work, and do what they do in really clever ways. Sometimes an assembly will feel flimsy, and then the next piece will add the missing rigidity. I feel like I'm in good hands with the designer of this toy. This is going to take you HOURS, btw. I'd say we're 8 hours and about halfway through the instructions. (And we're already talking about getting the kit that connects to this one for Christmas). Honestly, this is more than a kid can manage on their own, they would be frustrated. Kiwico and Crunch Labs have much better options for the youngers. But the joy of doing something that initially feels dauntingly hard and seeing it all come together into a beautiful, working object is something potent worth sharing, and this isn't something we would get out of a simpler toy.

Excellent project to do with my son
Me and my 11 year old really enjoyed making this, it’s a little difficult but excellent how to videos are available on YouTube at Martin’s Assembly Haven. Awesome winter project that takes a lot longer than what the box says. It’s amazing how well built the pieces are and how strong the completed marble run is.

More of a puzzle than a toy.
Decent quality. 15 year old son enjoyed putting it together (took him about 8-10 hours), but what do you do with it after it's put together. Think of it more of a puzzle than a toy.
