It is rechargeable but also has a fitting to put batteries in instead if you want to. I don't bother with the batteries as the charge lasts ages. I've had this torch for well over a year now and only recharged it for the first time a few months ago! It's hard wearing and I literally cannot fault it!

The Blukar Rechargeable flashlight has been an amazing addition to my hiking backpack essential. I mainly use it when it gets too dark during hiking or when at the campfire place in the canyons. The flashlight feels very durable, is very easy to use, and is very bright. It also has a few dimming options and a SOS setting. The overall design is nice too, not too bulky and feels nice in the hands. In terms of waterproofness, I haven’t tested that out but it does have rubber ports over the openings. Overall, a great and bright flashlight for a great price!
