I've always had good experiences with Castrol products, and this POWER1 ULTIMATE 4T 10W-50 is no exception. It's a high-quality fully synthetic oil that's easy to pour and gives confidence that the engine is getting excellent protection. The engine feels smooth and responsive after the oil change, and the gearbox shifts cleanly with the clutch operating as it should. The 1-litre bottle is convenient for topping up or servicing bikes that require this grade of oil. A premium product from a trusted manufacturer that offers excellent quality and peace of mind. Decent brand, decent value.
Oil is such a funny subject; people swear they would use one brand and type and wouldn't touch another. The way I see it, is that if one brand found a formula that they could prove in independent lab tests to out perform all the others, they'd be shouting it from the rooftops. Pick an oil from a known brand that (more importantly) adheres to recognised certification (usually JSO) and that matches your vehicle manufacturer's recommended grade and stick to it. The standout for Power1 Ultimate is the price for a fully synthetic oil from a long established major name in the market. Enough said.
