This is my second petcube camera and i really enjoy both of them. i’ve got a 16 year old disabled senior so being able to keep eyes on him is extremely important to me pros: shipping was quick and set up was very simple. the video is much clearer on this camera than my other petcube. night vision works very well, I use this feature frequently in a dark room and have never had an issue seeing my pup. while zooming in the video quality stays good. i can see the entire room with the ability to move the camera up/down/left/right. one of my favorite new features is the privacy mode so i don’t have to plug and unplug it all the time. one of the deciding factors for me was the free app, it gives me the features i need (live stream was the most important to me) without additional costs. i feel the pricing is really fair. i really love that i can share the camera with family and they can log in and check on my pup, also for free. cons: the audio on the speaker when speaking to my pet isn’t as loud as my previous petcube camera (the petcube cam). the app could use some improvement with connectivity. sometimes my live stream will randomly go “offline” and take a few minutes to reconnect. and sometimes when i open up the app i can’t get the livestream to load at all, it’ll say “connecting” and never connect and the in app support chat freezes. i have to reboot the whole app to get it to work and then it works great. this only happens sometimes, most of the time the app works great. overall i really enjoy my petcube cameras. i love knowing i can keep eyes on him at all times easily on my phone. 5 stars from me!

I’ve been using PetCube products for about two years now. My puppy is mostly well-behaved, but I feel better with constant monitoring, when he’s not in the same room with me. For that reason, I needed cameras throughout the house – so cost was a huge factor in my camera selection criteria. I’ve been impressed with the quality and functionality of these cameras, especially given the relatively low-cost. Set-up is easy, the connection is stable, user interface is efficient and easy to navigate, night-vision works great – pretty much all of the available features behave as expected. Needless to say, I’m pretty happy with the brand. So, I was really excited to try out this new model, when I found out it was being released. And rightfully so. The image quality is noticeably improved – so clear and sharp, even when zoomed in. But the real game-changer is the 360-degree panning feature. All I can say is WOW. Oh, important to add – the few times I’ve had very specific questions and contacted PetCube Support, the service has been prompt, friendly and thorough. I highly recommend this brand, and especially this new camera model.

The set-up was easy. The camera works well with great video quality. I love that I can move it around to see my babies and that I am able to talk to them especially when I am out of town. It calms my anxieties about being away from them.

Love this camera! I spent hours researching which one would be best for my 10lb mini dachshund, she periodically suffers from seperation anxiety so I was looking for a way to be able to check on her throughout the day while Im working full-time. This is even better than that! The cube initially has you personlize and set up the experience thats best for you using the PetCube app. There is a subscription for specific features but also a free PetCube version aswell. My reasoning for 4/5 stars was simply based on the fact when I purchased the camera the necessary package for me was $4 a month and when I received the camera the subscription was then $8 a month. The $8 a month is incredibly worth it though. I can log into the camera and hear my pet aswell as talk to her through it. It saves behaviors or moments that are specific to your pet and will alert you if they are barking, using the restroom, or roaming around. It also creates a daily video diary and sums up what it saw your pet doing. The video camera quality is pretty good too, I can even see her when shes in the back of her cage and also works in the dark aswell with a night mode. My favorite part about it is the 360 feature. I can turn the camera anywhere in the room to see whats going on. The camera is smaller than expected, but I actually prefer that more. Its lightweight and doesnt take up much space. There is also a privacy mode or you can simply turn the camera off or unplug it if you arent wanting it live all of the time. Would reccomend to any pet owner!

We’ve had Petcube cams for years now. Each one has gotten a bit easier to set up. This time was the quickest and easiest yet! We bought a pack of three. The first one connected in a snap, the second took two tries and the third took three tries but we’re still so much easier than in the past. The picture quality is excellent. We subscribe to Petcube care with unlimited camera monitoring and now have six cameras connected and all recorded footage goes to the cloud. We’ve been impressed by the detection accuracy on all of our Petcube cameras.

I hate this thing & wish I wasn’t past the window to return it. It constantly shuts off saying it’s offline , having trouble connecting. & when it does turn back on, it does for a brief second. Defeats the purpose of constant monitoring. No use paying for a subscription, better off with the GALAYOU model. Free alerts, also 360, and doesn’t fail me.

Love the privacy mode though I wish I didnt have to open the camera to turn that mode on. The picture is great the audio is great too. Love the 360 adjustments to find my hiding cat as a super anxious cat owner with separation anxiety on both ends.

I’ve already got a couple of pet cubes I’ve picked up second hand that I’ve been loving to keep an eye on my cats while I’m away from home, but I’m SO glad I bought this newest model! The resolution is incredible, being able to move the camera remotely, is so worth the price! I was concerned about the size when I ordered it, but it’s still smaller than my older model (picture 1). Night vision is so much crisper (old model picture 2, 360 model picture 3). While I’m not planning on screwing it into a wall or shelf, I’m very glad it does come with mounting hardware. The only negative I’ve come up with (so far) is that the mounting bracket won’t slide into the base. Since I’m not planning on mounting it, it does not matter to me, but it’s a weird failure. Perhaps I just need to push harder, but I didn’t want to break it. Setup was super-easy - no issues whatsoever. It came with usb3-ac plug, usb cord, mounting disk, screws & drywall hangers plus the instruction manual. In a very small box - nice to see no wasting packaging there too!

Works wonderful. I had the previous pet cube before but needed a camera with broader view. I'm very satisfied.

Was too complicated to setup with my wifi. I have a "smart" internet router that automatically assigns 5ghz or 2.4ghz bandwidth to devices. It correctly assigned the petcube to 2.4ghz but I could not change my phone from 5ghz to 2.4ghz at will, and apparently the setup will not properly complete if they are not both on 2.4ghz. I would have had to disable the "smart" feature of my router, create separate 5 and 2.4ghz bandwidths with their own passwords (lots of youtube videos to show how to do this), and then redo every device in my home that was connected to the old wifi login credentials! No thanks, sent back immediately. Some folks already have separate 5 and 2.4ghz for their wifi, so this won't be a problem, just make sure to check before.
