Works well, no issues
Although there were minimal reviews, they were good. I took a chance and am happy with the unit. No issues with it. Great value, not noisy. The only negative was trying to maneuver the hose to stay in place to adjust in the window.

How to vent through window and empty water tray
Used in extra bedroom for company. Vent tube a little stiff to handle but not too difficult to vent

It cools good but it is kind of loud.
It cools good. Not really quit. We can sleep as we have gotten use to it. There is no outside screen to keep bugs out of the outlet hose either. Contacted the email that was listed but they have not got back yet (more than a month). I would look for a different one and pay a little more!

Cold as Ice
Definitely pushed out alot of cold air, but I did have one issue. Had a very hard time getting the house to stay in the window. Eventually we got it figured out but it took a little ingenuity. Over all this thing can really crank out the cold air.

Fits my needs!
I live in a house built in the 1950's so there's not air conditioning other than what we can stick in the windows. Our window unit died last year and I'm glad I found this, it works great for our small living room. I didn't think I'd like it at first because of the hose that leads the air outside but it was pretty easy to hide and also easy to set up because our two main windows have panes that open upward. It sits in our corner, itsn't too, too loud, and blows out cool air. I'm extremely happy with it because it gets to over 110 degrees in the Summer here and our little window unit was struggling to cool the air any time it was hotter than 80 outside. I don't think there will be any issues going forward with this one.The only con I found with it, and is probably the case with all other portable air condtioners like this is that the hose itself does seem to get hot, which I thought might cause my living room to also get hot, but it doesn't... but it's not something you want to go around touching or laying on something fragile.

It is loud, but it works great
Full disclosure, I received this item as part of Amazon's Vine Program in exchange for an honest review, good or bad. I got this portable air conditioner a couple months ago in case my home air conditioner went out. I came home from work at the end of the day on Friday and it was 84 degrees in my house. I managed to get someone out to look at it that day, but they could not get a new motor in until Monday. I pull this out portable air conditioner and installed it in my bedroom. It only took about 20 minutes to install the air conditioner, but about an hour to unstick my painted window. By then it was 86 degrees in my house.I turned on the portable air conditioner and it took about 30 minutes before the bedroom was 76 degrees. Throughout the weekend the house would get up to 93 degrees in the day, but my bedroom stayed 73. I emptied the water container 3 times, but I don't know if it needed to be emptied that often or not. I decided to proactive and empty it so it would not turn off while I was out, so I don't know how long it will go without emptying.I am very glad I have this. It is small enough I should be able to run it off a generator if a hurricane comes through and takes out the electricity. It is easy to use. It is a little difficult to drain the bottom water plug because it is so low to the ground. You can't put a bucket under it, only something like a baking sheet. The only other negative is how loud it is. It is the same volume your typical window air conditioner or an air conditioner in a cheap motel room. You get used to it, and I would rather have the noise than the heat. Unfortunately to my knowledge, no one make a quiet portable air conditioner or window air conditioner. On the whole, it is a very good unit though.
