As a quick option for a cup of tea when camping etc., it's certainly passable for the convenience.
For things like camping or going out on a hike or something where you don't have access to all your usual amenities, this Typhoo QT drink is passable as a tea option if you need it. It's good if you don't want to have to fuss with carrying lots of separate items, like having to take tea bags and a carton of milk that you then have to worry about keeping cold, so the convenience factor is high for having it all in one easily portable container for both with no worries about storage. That's the good part. It's less good if you are thinking of having this as a direct replacement for a good cup of tea at home, as it's sadly just not reaching that goal. It must go down as a good idea that maybe doesn’t quite work and would probably massively offend tea afficionados all over the world. The quick and convenient positives are super - instant tea granules, I guess, mixed with whitener, just add boiling water and sugar/sweetener to taste, stir, enjoy (sort of) - but the final drink, however, is not quite a cup of tea you'd choose to drink.I'd probably go so far as to say it’s tea-adjacent without quite being tea. There’s also no way of making the tea element stronger it seems (I like a robust brew, to be honest) as the proportion of tea to whitener remains the same. Still, it tastes okay - a bit like horlicks and tea mixed together, which isn’t unpleasant by any means. It just isn’t what I think of when I think of a good cup of tea. So depending on what your expectations are for this, you may well find it a good buy to have if it fits the bill for your usage. For me, it's an average 3 star.

Unpleasant taste
I've drunk typhoo teabags before and found them to produce a lovely cup of teaI can't agree that these granules produce the sameWhen I made a cuppa I found that it smelled a bit strange but I persevered and took some sipsI didn't find it pleasant at all and it left an aftertaste. I won't be getting this again

pretty good
Typhoo QT English Breakfast Tea Granules with Milk offers a convenient and flavorful alternative to traditional tea brewing. The product comes in a 225g jar, which is ideal for both personal use and sharing. One of the standout features of these granules is their ease of preparation. Simply add hot water to the granules, and you have a cup of English breakfast tea with milk in no time. This is perfect for busy mornings or when you need a quick tea fix without the hassle of brewing a fresh pot. The granules dissolve easily, providing a smooth and consistent flavor. The taste of the tea is robust and satisfying, capturing the essence of traditional English breakfast tea. The inclusion of milk granules means you get a creamy texture without needing to add extra milk. This feature is particularly convenient for those who enjoy a milky tea but want to avoid the additional step of mixing in milk. However, some tea aficionados might find that the flavor is not as rich or nuanced as freshly brewed tea. Granules can sometimes lack the depth and freshness that loose leaf or bagged tea offers. Additionally, the sweetness and creaminess from the milk granules might not be to everyone's taste, particularly if you prefer to control the amount of milk and sugar added to your tea.The 225g jar is a practical size for frequent tea drinkers, but it's important to store it properly to maintain freshness. Keep the jar sealed and stored in a cool, dry place to avoid moisture affecting the granules.Overall, Typhoo QT English Breakfast Tea Granules with Milk are a practical and convenient option for those who enjoy a quick cup of tea. While it may not replace the experience of freshly brewed tea for some, it offers a good balance of flavor and convenience, making it a solid choice for everyday use.

Surprisingly good tea.
I say “surprisingly” because I had a fairly low expectation. Tea for me is a once-a-day ritual where I get out the tray, put the teapot and hot water jug on it followed by the milk, china cups etc. With this, I put a rounded teaspoon into a mug and, although I like my tea fairly weak, this wasn’t enough. So, the next time I put more powder in and it was fine. The taste wasn’t quite up to my usual brew but what could I expect? I would say that it is a really good substitute for those who haven’t time for the rigmarole that I usually go through and would be great if you didn’t have fresh milk available. Recommended.

Quick and decent
Not a bad cup of tea, it was easy to use and the flavour was a good strength. The amount of milk in there is quite good and gives it a bit of creaminess - I prefer min with a bit more milk so I added a little extra. Mixed in easily and didn't have trouble with any lumps. Smells like tea and I have no problems with it. Not the best but definitely not the worst. I think it'd be useful when camping or when you're in a hurry.
