(DISCLAIMER: I received a promo for this product but paid for the single serving. My review here is my own honest opinion.) I try a lot of different plant-based protein powders and prefer those that use a lot of artificial sweeteners; incorporate vegetables, vitamins, and/or probiotics; and have a good amount of protein and fiber. This protein powder is one of the better ones I have tried. I think I like it better than Amazing Grass and Orgain. The single serving is about 70 g of powder and 280 calories, 5g of added sugar, 6g of fiber, and a lot of vitamins. It even gives you 50% of your daily values of folate, zinc, copper, riboflavin, and up to 70% of your DV of biotin and vitamin Bs. When mixed just with water, it creates a very filling, very creamy drink. I did not even need to add milk (plant of animal) to it nor other sweetener to give it enough sweetness to enjoy. It is just sweet enough (however if you are used to Starbucks level of sweetness, you might want to add some honey, agave, banana, date, etc.) for my palate. The amount per serving definitely makes this a "plant meal" as it calls itself. Personally, I add more water than it calls for per serving (10-12 fl. oz. per 70g). On its flavor, it reminds me of drinking creamy oatmeal. It's very wholesome. It kind of reminds me of the Korean cereal powder (misugaru) but with less intense flavor (this is good IMO because the misugaru is a bit too strong and its flavor lingers). Its ingredient list is long but all natural items and nearly all organic. What's pretty unique is that I read it has maqui, buckwheat sprouts, cabbage sprouts, mushroom blend (including reishi, maitake, and lion's mane). Lots of functional ingredients. I'll update my review after I see how long one drink keeps me full and how I feel after drinking it more often, but overall pretty pleased with the product! I can see myself adding it to my cereal, oatmeal, smoothies, and maybe even baking in the future.

I’ve been looking for something like this for so long! I’ve tried others and they don’t compare to this powerhouse of energy and goodness. I’m so happy it’s made with tons of organic ingredients and full of vitamins and minerals. It really gets my day started. I throw a bit of organic Greek yogurt, ice and sometimes, basil seeds and a bit of organic cacao powder (for my dessert) into the blender and it creates a rich, creamy, thick, delicious texture. Something so wholesome and refreshing is what I need instead of a heavy breakfast in the morning. For even more decadence, I add odd organic raspberries or strawberries and it satisfies my sweet tooth each and every time. Gosh this stuff is good!!

I received it today. Had it for breakfast. I am a very picky eater and can’t tolerate anything sweet. Especially in the morning. This hit the spot. Packaging: Highly impressive. Eco conscious. Easy to seal and store. Came with a scoop. Taste & Flavor: Subtle. Not overbearingly sweet. I LOVE the texture unlike fine powder. I didn’t have a gag reflex like i usually have. I finished the entire content. I feel full. This has monk fruit sweetener. Which is a huge bonus for me because I am sensitive to artificial sweeteners like stevia etc. This has no aftertaste. Follow the instructions as is. Just cold water is enough. Its thick enough. The nutrient content is enough to just mix it with water than with any other plant substitute milk. I don't feel lethargic or sleepy. It satisfies my cravings for oatmeal or any other cookies. It smells good. Value for money: I’ve tried other products, but this is something I can see myself using without any gag reflexes. You see, it’s got 75+ superfood ingredients all in just one pack whereas I see people buying individual bottles of each ingredient as a supplement. This is definitely value for money. More cost effective than buying individual supplements. Also, you get to gulp it all down in one sitting. Great for a minimalist kitchen and life. The only thing missing here is Creatinine & Collagen. Thats the only additional supplement that I may have to probably buy. Nutrition: 25 grams of protein in one sitting. Need i say more? It’s got complex carbs. It sounds wholesome. Its organic. It does not cause gas or bloating like regular protein and whey protein shakes. I recommend this even to non vegans. The makers have labeled everything beautifully. Segregated the ingredients according to Fats, Carbs, Protein, Vegetables, Fruits, Superfoods, Vitamins, Minerals and other categories. Issues to be addressed: Is this processed? Overall: I would love to give this 5/5 but I gave it a 4 because I just tried it today for the first time. I am happy. This made me happy. I feel good. I can still workout or go on a hike immediately without throwing up. But I would prefer having it after physical activities. Wish: I wish they would make a unflavored, unsweetened version so that I can drink this as a savory Soup/Kanji/Porridge too. They should add creatinine & collagen. I wouldn’t mind paying a little extra if they did.

UPDATE: I’ve been using Plant Meal for about 8 months now and I can honestly say, it’s been life changing! As a vegan, and someone who is always on the go, I was having a hard time getting meals in, taking my vitamins consistently, and struggling to get enough protein. Not only is this product SOOOO DELICIOUS, it has everything I need! With this product, I no longer feel like I’m in survival mode. It’s both filling and satisfying. I’d highly recommended it to anyone. The seller reached out to me to get feedback on the product, as well as send me a sample of the vanilla flavor! Their customer service is great. If you visit their website, you can receive points (even from buying elsewhere) and apply that as a discount for future purchases through their website only. They also have a subscribe and save option on their site that equates to the price on Amazon. Check them out, you won’t regret it! INITIAL REVIEW: DELICIOUS!! I can’t get enough. It has amazing chocolate flavor, and the rest of the vitamins/supplements are masked well by this. Great texture, I don’t find it to be grainy at all. I mix it with 1/4 Oat Milk and the remaining 3/4 with water, adding a little extra than recommended as it CAN be thick. My health is great on this product, much improved in terms of energy and strengthening my nails. It smells great but can be a little smelly if you don’t wash your cup right away—probably because of the probiotics. I use a shaker bottle and it blends really well. Delicious, Craveable, and Satisfying. Definitely worth buying. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This protein powder appears to be a great nutritional answer. Unfortunately IT TASTES LIKE SOIL! Breakfast is my favorite meal and I like my food to taste good as well as being healthy. Sadly this product fails miserably in the flavor department. I will not be buying it again and I wish I had saved my money.

I mixed this organic, vegan, superfood protein powder Plant Meal with some organic soy milk. It definitely creates a pudding with thickness as shown in the picture. With any water or plant-based milk - a great shake!! More ideas with making muffins, breakfast cookies or protein pancakes with this! I love, love, love all of the super foods that are included in this and that they are certified ORGANIC !! I love the Sacha Inchi protein in this. Also, that instead of Stevia, it is sweetened with organic monk fruit extract and organic coconut flower nectar. The flavor profile is excellent. Certainly all of the organic omega‘s, fruits, vegetables, greens, adaptogens and mushroom blend, sprouted foods, vitamins and minerals and pre-and Probiotic blend are a powerhouse of nutrition - like no other! The digestive enzymes included this powder will assist people who may not have their own natural gut digestive enzymes to break down foods they may not be accustomed to! Given that Plant Meal is also sold in individual packets - it would be very easy to put inside of a camping/hiking backpack to provide excellent nutrition and energy without using much space or weight. Plant Meal needs to be widely available in US hospitals for patients that are unable to take in solid foods. It’s no mistake that our US medical system falls in the area of nutrition…. Plant Meal blows away the competition that presently is non-organic and dairy-based!

Delicious, delicious, delicious !!! if looking for a excellent meal shake with no after taste, but taste like a chocolate milkshake with all the good things in it with No Stevia, sugar. Totally worth every penny if you love and care about yourself. I’ll be purchasing this milkshake ongoing….

I got the vanilla flavor and I finished the single portion I bought but I won’t be buying any more of it. The flavor is good, it reminds me of unflavored oats which I quite like. The two biggest downsides are the grittiness and the value. I measured out 14floz of cold water and used an electric whisk for about a minute to make sure it was fully mixed. I gave it a taste and at first it was quite smooth but after I swallowed, it left a very thick film inside my mouth that was very gritty. I then added a few handfuls of ice cubes and used the blades on the whisk to crush them up and it helped the grittiness but the viscus film it left inside my mouth was still very bad. I also don’t see the value long term for this. $70 for 15 servings is over $4.50 a shake. For just powder. If this was a 10/10 product I can see it as a nice luxury but I’m not impressed. Final note: I ordered vanilla Huel and that is significantly better than this product. No weird mouth feel or bad taste. I recommend Huel over this product.
