Great eco-friendly brushes
I bought these toothbrushes for my partner because we wanted more eco-friendly brushes, and we were instantly very pleased with them. So much so that I had to buy some more for my mum and brother too. I have tried a soft bristled plastic toothbrush before from a supermarket that didn't clean effectively, and my last plastic toothbrush had bristles so hard they hurt my gums. This brush however removes plaque effectively and doesn't hurt at all. I can see that this brand also offer a tougher bristled brush for those complaining that this one is too soft. I don't understand the complaints about the shape/feel/grip of it, I don't need my toothbrush to be anything fancy. My family didn't find that the wood reaches the back of their mouth or irritates their gums, whereas I currently have a wisdom tooth that is so far back that it needs to be removed really, so I filed down the end of the toothbrush that sticks out and it was then absolutely fine. None of us 4 have found any problem with rinsing the brush after brushing, or any drying/absorbing issues when standing the brush in a cup as we always do. We have not found any bristles to have fallen out or wood to splinter and we've been using them for 3 months so far (dentists recommended changing every 3-4 months). We all like the floss, which we haven't found to break easily as some people found. The plastic wrapping is biodegradable, and each one is wrapped individually for hygiene reasons, as I believe it should be. (If you bought the 5 pack for just yourself, and you opened the same package to use the 1st one, you then wouldn't use the 5th brush until a year later, so it would have been exposed to the air for over a year?) The nylon bristles obviously means that it is not fully biodegradable, but the only alternative that has currently been made that I know of is tapioca/corn, which only lasts for 6 weeks due to the brush being in your mouth twice a day. It also frays much more easily. I hope there will be a better alternative some day soon!

Surprised at how great these are - better than my old plastic ones!
I don't think other toothbrushes can beat this for eco friendliness. Also, every last piece of packaging went into my compost bin. Old toothbrushes (bristles removed) go into my kindling box for lighting fires. They clean my teeth beautifully, better than my old plastic toothbrushes, and last just as long. I have not encountered a downside and I'm on my 3rd one. Comfy to use. Great value for money multi-pack. You can get ones with different coloured bristles for families. This pack came with 2 gifts - cotton buds, which are ok. And dental floss which unfortunately snapped too easily and got caught in between my teeth. I will never look at plastic toothbrushes again. So what prompted me to search for these in the first place? I had a huge wake up call when I travelled abroad and came across remote beaches heavily polluted with plastics. Toothbrushes featured very prominently alongside plastic straws. I know a huge chunk of the washed up plastic came from the UK originally - Branded products like Boots, Tesco, Sainsbury's, plastic toys saying "Made in the UK"... it was all there, our rubbish, on Christmas Island, about 200 miles south of Indonesia.

Best I’ve tried
Love love these! Packaged sustainable and biodegradable 2 free gifts floss and bamboo ear buds also biodegradable and so so cute in travel size form. Nice little images on each one to tell the difference. Important bit... they clean my teeth beautifully! They are soft and fine and clean exceptionally well, the best I’ve tried... I would definitely recommend an up and down motion as the bristles are slim enough to get in between your teeth. Also I’ve noticed that my teeth are starting to look whiter after 2 weeks. I also purchased a 2nd pack for my mum as I have her one to try from my orginal order and she loved them ! Slight Pointer .. if you’ve never used bamboo brush before I’d recommend running the entire head of the brush under the tap first (front and back of head) to prevent that kind of ‘lollipop stick effect’ where the texture kinda sticks to inside of your mouth. Once wet 100% doesn’t happen promise ...

Good for the price, but just off from perfect.
For the price, you're getting something great: an eco-friendly toothbrush with zero non-biodegradable or toxin filled plastics. However, as a warning, there are some issues. 1 - Since the brush is made of bamboo, if you're rigorous with your brushing, you can actually make the inside of your cheeks a little raw. Maybe some sort of lacquering process would reduce this, but be gentle when brushing with these. 2 - If the inside of your mouth is small or you prefer to brush with your mouth close, you might bang your teeth on the end of the head now and then. Its more annoying than anything else, but could lead to some splinters, longterm. 3 - The bristles are a little more abrasive than regular toothbrushes, but that's is something simply to adjust to With a few adjustments of the product, like some sort of lining on the bamboo to make it more slick and slight flattening of the head, this would be a solid 5 star product all round, particularly at the price point, but these little gripes take it down a little for me.

Fantastic for your teeth, fantastic for the environment too.
I have to say, I just love these toothbrushes. I was always one of those people that used to buy the hardest possible toothbrush because my teeth didn't feel clean unless I'd scrubbed them to within an inch of their lives with something akin to a scrubbing brush. Years later now, suffering from receding gums as a result, I figured it was time for a re-evaluation. I loved how these were packaged, I loved the little carved creatures on the handles to identify who is whose, I loved the little free gifts of dental floss and buds that came with them, but I still wasn't sure when I felt the softness. I'm happy to say I was wrong, they're great - and so gentle that I can brush and massage my damaged gums with them too. I wish they'd been around years ago. Well done Bamboogaloo.

Great ecological product
This product is excellent on the ecological side and I wish everybody could have access to it. A couple of things in order to reach this goal: first, it would help, instead of having to order it one could buy this product in supermarkets and drugstores (ie, Boots, etc.), thus cutting on delivery time + reducing transport-related carbon footprint for the delivery of one or just a few packs + reducing delivery costs and extra postage packaging) . Another good idea would be to offer these to airlines, hotels, hospitals and dentists/orthodontic which provide their customers with this kind of courtesy products, so they can avoid having to offer the plastic ones (and, given the amount of such toiletries distributed by them, it will indeed have an environmental impact). Another idea is that each toothbrush should be offered in three degrees of hardness/softness (soft, medium and hard). I understand this is a start in the world of eco tooth brushes and I do hope we reach the point where these are the only toothbrushes we find in the market, but for this, they need to fit everybody's needs and these include: children-size toothbrushes, toothbrushes for people with braces, people with paradontose gum problems and elderly people with dentures/implants. Only then you will reach the whole population spectrum and respond to all our needs :o) I strongly encourage you to do so, you have a great product and this goes in the right direction.

Great product
I was delighted to discover earlier this year that these bamboo toothbrushes existed. I was really keen to cut down on waste and recycling, but was not entirely sure how they would compare to the medium bristle toothbrushes I used to buy. Although these are perhaps slightly softer I am extremely happy with how they feel and their cleaning effect. The totally recyclable/compostable packaging is brilliant and the used toothbrush can also be disposed of ethically. The original order of 5 brushes lasted as long as my previous toothbrushes would have done and I have now just received my second order. They represent good value for money and I am happy to recommend them.

Great product!
I was kind of unsure about how I would feel using a bamboo toothbrush. I looked into buying these a few months ago but changed my mind. Then I decided to just give them a go and I'm so glad I did. The charcoal bristles are beautifully soft, I've only ever used a stiff bristle toothbrush so wasn't sure I'd like these but they do the job even better, especially as they whiten without the use of whitening toothpaste. My teeth are looking nicer already and I've only been using one for roughly a week now. The little animals on the toothbrushes are a nice touch too. The free gifts that came were also lovely. I'll never go back to a regular plastic brush again. Would definitely recommend.

spazzolino comodo e morbido, non fa rimpiangere quelli in plastica. Pulisce bene e delicatamente. Si consuma molto rapidamente dato che è in materiale organico.
