I love this beach chair. For years I have used a very popular name brand backpack beach chair. Someone had this at the beach and I could tell it was going to be perfect for me. It is more comfortable with ergonomic back support. The chair feels wider and the mesh bottom and back help swimsuits to dry faster instead of sitting in a cold puddle. Some might have a little trouble getting out of the chair as it is very low to the ground but I am 70 years old with bad knees and find if you lean over your knees and forward and push off from the arm rests there is no problem. It is lighter and much easier to carry than the bulky backpack type beach chairs. There is a cup holder but no pockets or pouches which I never used on my old chairs anyway. Some reviews said if you stretch your legs out far your butt will be on the crossbar. This is true but I just fold up a towel to cover it and don't feel the intrusion. Awesome chair all the way around. Love it!

A year ago, we bought a beach tent that folded up into a similar size and shape bag. I bought these and a 12 X 12 X 30 duffle bag so we could bring them on the airline for our trip to Florida. These two chairs and the tent fit perfectly side by side and only filled half the duffle bag's volume allowing us to also pack towels beach sandals etc. Positives: easy to pack and carry. Solid. Negatives: Recline angle is fixed, not adjustable.
