The construction of the cat condo is very good; it was relatively easy to assemble - just took patience and a willingness to take apart a section if you realized you put it together wrong (i.e. making sure all the wire is going in the same direction). I only give it 3 stars because I really liked the incorporated litter box (plus it looks cute) BUT if you have a "high" urinator, the urine will run underneath the litter box tray, and will end up leaking onto whatever flooring the condo is place on - BAD DESIGN!! I ended up removing the litter box entirely, and put my own covered litter box inside, which unfortunately is a little awkward to clean from the outside, but does the job. I purchased the condo for one of our six cats who is at the bottom of the pecking order, and needs a "time out" space where none of the other cats can pick on her. Hopefully once the weather improves, and the majority of the cats go outside more (underground fence for them), she will feel less stressed, and won't need it for a while. I know some people complained about the door locks, but I find them perfectly sufficient; perhaps if it is a truly feral cat which goes berserk in the cage, then they might need reinforcement. Hope this helps others looking at this product.

I had originally done it the way you’re supposed to as shown in the directions but then I realize that it was too big for the space that I needed it for so I rearranged it and it’s pretty easy to do. It took some good thinking because you have to know how many pieces you have and how exactly you want to conform it to your space, but it was pretty awesome and it’s very durable. I’m even able to use the top-tier as storage..

I do not recommend this product. Eight out of ten of the pieces arrived broken. The plastic was of very poor quality. In addition, it was double-boxed and bubble-wrapped. The outer and inner boxes showed no signs of damage.The return policy is very impressive and simple. However, it has been a week, and there is still no indication that the item is being returned. Amazon needs to look into why the item is not shown as being accepted for return. I tried to add a photo of the broken pieces but it was not accepted.

I like the size of thus enclosure. I don't feel bad about locking up my babies when I have to leave for a while because there is plenty of space. There's also multiple levels so each one can have their own personal space. It is pretty easy to put together on your own but definitely easier with a friend. I did take one star off because there is a sort of cheapness about it. Some of the pieces seem poorly finished or as if the quality control is lacking a bit. Other than that I think its a great alternative to a basic kennel with limited space.

I love it, my cats love it and it was not difficult to assemble. Be sure to use the little hammer that was included to tap the frame into the connectors.Roomy with the 4 levels.My cats are very active at night. The enclosure has held up well, even when the are extra playful.We have only had it for about 10 days, so far so good.

At first I thought this cage would be great. It was easy to put together and seemed like it would rather sturdy. The platforms do not hold up at all, already two have broken/bent and I have average sized cats. Definitely does not seem worth the money. I would send it back if I could.

Arrived in a small convenient easy to handle lightweight package. Easy to assemble; everything you need is provided. Looks great and is sturdy. I used the zip ties as recommended and it makes the entire cattery easy to move around. We just rescued a feral cat and since transitioning the cat from a dog kennel to this cattery has allowed the cat to socialize. In less than a week of having it, the cat no longer seems feral as it adapted to the cattery and enjoys all the features. It would be nice if there was an option to buy additional parts because it can easily be configured and extended.
