A man's perspective, it works well!
1st, I'm a muscular man that has a moderate amount of body hair. I've been getting professional waxing for about 15 years (neck) and 5 years (shoulders, chest, upper arms). I have to say, this machine is less painful than waxing by just a bit and very very easy to use with caution my 1st time. Also, the cost is a huge savings! Not as good as waxing but damn good! Also, very convenient! Probably works best over 1/4 inch, and i did still need/want to use tweezers in certain areas. Also had to use extra caution on side chest due to position and lack of experience. 100% recommend this unit for men. Yes, painful, but not bad at all!

Best epilator I’ve ever owned!
I’ve been happily using Braun epilators for the last 5 years + prior I used Emjoi. Last week I dropped and broke my silk epil9 and decided on this Panasonic and I’m glad I did!! If you’re a beginner, this is not for you. It is more powerful and somewhat louder than the silk 9. I was a tad bit intimidated when I initially turned it on but once it started pulling I realized this thing does a much better job than any epilator I’ve ever owned! I love it!!! 10/10 I recommend. The handle is ergonomic, it glides smoothly over knees and is super efficient with dual rollers. Pro tips, epilate the night before so you’re not walking around with red bumps on your newly epilated legs. Also, exfoliating prior to epilating helps. Do not epilate the bikini area around menstruation time, unless you have incredible pain tolerance. Epilator pros, BUY THIS!

Who Knew Hair Removal Could Get an Upgrade?
I’ve owned four epilators over the years, and this Panasonic is hands-down my favorite. The flexible head is a game changer—it actually moves with the curves of your body instead of fighting against them, making the whole process easier and more comfortable. The wet/dry option is a nice bonus, the three speed settings are useful, and it does a great job removing hair. If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your epilator, this one is absolutely worth it!

Fast, efficient, great epilator!
April 1, 2026 update: My original review of this epilator was in January of 2026. After using it for several more months, I am less impressed. The device has slowed down considerably and I have to take breaks to charge it 3 or 4 times to finish just one complete hair removal process on my legs. It seems to be operating slower, having a harder time grabbing the hairs, and holding less charge. For reference, I generally perform this process about twice a month, so the unit isn’t being subject to excessive use and generally I can complete the process with one charge, sometimes two charges if I wait a little longer and the hair is longer/thicker. It’s only been 6 months since I’ve had this one, whereas the Braun units I’ve used in the past have worked very efficiently for several years before they start to slow down. At this point I plan to order a new Braun epilator since those have performed so well for me for many years. Original review: January 2026 I’ve used Braun epilators for many years, which I was generally pleased with. My current device was slowing down so it was time for a replacement, and I decided to try this Panasonic epilator because it was priced comparatively to the Braun I was planning to purchase, but it boasted wider tweezers which meant a potentially quicker hair removal experience (and considering I have very hairy legs, it can be a time consuming process!). I purchased this item in October 2024, so have had several months to use it and can confidently say that I am exceptionally pleased with this device. The wider tweezers definitely make a difference in how quickly the process is completed and I also feel as though it pulls even shorter hairs than the Braun devices I’ve used in the past. It also seems to provide a slightly less painful experience than the devices I’ve owned previously. As a long time Epilating lady, I would definitely recommend this product!

Best I’ve Used
Excellent epilator. 3 good/fast speeds. It’s the best I’ve used so far- I think the double head really makes the difference. The only downside is that it does not have an auto stop feature when it gets caught. Twice it’s gripped my (looser) skin behind my knee- the motor stays on and it continues to grip until you hit the on/off button. I use the highest speed so it’s one press to off, so I’m not sure if it would feel worse if you’re on speed 1 or 2 as you and have to press a few times to fumble up speeds to eventually reach off. It doesn’t feel great, but isn’t that bad and didn’t leave a mark. It’s still the best I’ve used, worth the price, and I’m not returning it! I love it otherwise. I’ve purchased others at the same price point and they have been very cheep and didn’t work at all, so I’ll take this one issue.

Works well
Pulls the hairs out nicely hurts at first so I know it’s working. Smoother skin after. Only problem is I received mine without the outter cover. The small sensitive one was in the box but not the standard one. I needed right away so didn’t return but must have gotten a repackaged one or something.

Keep at it... I promise it won't be as bad...
Absolutely Amazing! Yes it hurts... but if you can sit through a wax.. you can sit through *easing* yourself into this ... I promise!!! I do it daily for stray hairs and am OBSESSED!!!! Slow and steady wins the race.... you start going full boar on full grown hair - you will know pain, however, you go slow and steady, one little line at a time.. you'll be golden!! Adrenaline takes over and you just go into auto piolet, I promise! Thanks!! :) (For reference, I haven't epilated in YEARS and was just as nervous as you...)

Goodbye Braun
I have been using epilaters for a long time . My 3 previous models have all been Braun. This one is far superior at efficiently getting all the hair. I hope it lasts a long time.

What a smooth operator!
I had an Emjoi Emagine Epilator and thought there's no other that I would like. But because you can't get them anymore I searched for a new one and decided to go with the Panasonic Epilator. So happy with it. It's way smoother and works just wonderful. Give it a five star!
