They wouldn't zip over my calf. I had to heat & pry them on, then wear them to stretch them & it was still tight. While the ankle part was loose. But they are comfortable. And the zipper is strong. I was afraid it was going to break open, but it didn't. However, you won't wear them outside of the jeans. Zipper to tight. I'll just wear them with a skirt. That'll still be cute. I sized up. I normally wear a 6 in boots. I got a 7 they fit good. Exept the zipper.

Love these for my pirate themed wedding dress! Originally ordered an 8 (which is my normal size) and although I really have no calves like some women do, it was too tight at the top of the boot to zip up. Unfortunately the lace up front is more for decoration, so I as unable to let the top out. Problem solved... I returned and ordered a size up and they fit much better and not too loose in the foot. Very comfortable to walk around in. Hope this helps with those wanting to order these but afraid to because of all of the reviews about the calves being too small. :)

TL;DR: exactly what you’re looking for! Just size up and don’t even consider if you have anything bigger than extra small calf’s. These boots are GORGEOUS! They are EXACTLY as pictured. I somehow got lucky enough to find these repackaged and in pristine condition in Amazon warehouse for under $14 IN MY SIZE??? WHATTT!?!?!? The plan was to wear these with my wedding dress at my wedding. My dress was black lace and these would have looked perfect with it! However, after the initial excitement of the grand unboxing was over after delivery, I was left with nothing but tears (I’m dramatic sometimes) My foot KIND OF fit. I should have read the reviews about ordering up a size or so but I was so excited about the price that I didn’t even think about it. I typically wear a size 9. It was a tight fit but I was 100% ok with it and willing to sacrifice the blood circulation in my toes for a few hours to be able to wear these. Then came the point of no return. I began to zip them up and after the zipper reached barley above the inside of my ankle, I could go no further. Let me tell you. THE PURE HEART-BEAK! Anywayyy. These are perfect! Just size up and don’t bother if you have anything but extra small calf’s.

I have to say that I absolutely love these boots. They are sturdy, look great, and are very sexy. I wore them in a show and got countless compliments from both my cast mates and audience members. Like I said, the are very sturdy. The heel doesn’t wobble, the lace doesn’t seem fragile, and the zipper works flawlessly. They held up to repeat use and hours of intense dancing. The toe box was just a hair snug but not so much that I couldn’t deal with it. But you can forget about wearing socks or adding any kind of insole unless you can go up a size (I couldn’t). Arch support is very good, if maybe a little too firm. I would also classify the width as somewhat narrow, as I have a very slender foot and these fit me like a glove in that regard. If I had to pinpoint my biggest complaint, it would be the lack of an actual tongue. The panel between the lacings is actually attached all the way around. So there is no way to expand or contract the width of the shaft. By the way, the shaft fit very snug against toned calves.

The shoe section of these boots fits fantastic, particularly for a 3-4" heel. I got the size 11 shoes, which is my size, and they fit fantastic. Snug, but not overly tight and they dont pinch. Unfortunately i have huge calves, so the top 6" of zipper wouldn't zip. I couldve returned them, but im also a seamstress. I cut out the solid tongue, cleaned up the edges where i cut, and now the laces are functional. I wore these around with some fishnets to give them a sturdiness test, and they were fantastic, AFTER my modifications. Definitely dont buy these if you dont have medium calves. Large? Pass. Small? Pass. Or, if youre willing to modify 100$ boots, then feel free!

The boots are cute and the sole size is perfect, but even at the loosest the calves are too small and won't zip. I'm a size 18 and I wear it well for a reference. Unless you're SUPER small, don't even bother buying these. Especially when you consider that the seller takes a huge chunk of the money back when they refund you. I paid $65 for mine and due to "Restocking fees" that they fail to mention anywhere on their page except vaguely in the return instructions (Not the return policy on their profile, the instructions you don't get to see until after you've made the purchase), only got back $36. So I essentially paid $29 to find out I need to diet. And now they're going to turn around and sell those same boots for $70, seeing as how they upped the price since I bought them. The boots themselves aren't bad, but avoid this seller at all costs. They're scummy and other reviews warn of them. I won't be surprised if they delete my review and try to falsely report me for slander.

I am extremely excited to see that the boots came in the next day as I was promised the delivery driver was super nice and well mannered and professional he called me when he reached my house to confirm I am so pleased to see each boot was carefully hand wrapped with foam/tissue placed in each toe , then a small sheet of foam placed on side of boot for it to rest on wrapped in tissue and then placed in a clear plastic bag. with the material ,leather and details with lace up in front but zip up on the sides this company I feel strongly that heart and soul and love is the root for their hard work and is reasonable priced .they will make you look and feel sexy wearing them. Perfect with any outfit! In my opinion every woman Needs a pair in every color!! I am looking forward to buy them in the other colors to Karissa Strickland

I bought these last minute for my wedding due to a weather change (cold vs warm) in spite of some of the negative reviews because they were so pretty I could not resist. I did not have any trouble with the zipper or heels, my my calves are 14.5 inches and they zipped easily. I walked on these outside across pavement and uneven grass and even on rocks at the coast and they held up the entire time! Of course there’s no traction so I held my husband’s and photographer’s hand but the heels were fine! Toe box is small but these were comfortable for the 5+ hours I wore them. Feet were tired at the very end. Can post pics when they come back from the photographer. Many many compliments from all that saw them!!

Absolutely thrilled with this. A little pricey for the material, but all in all they are absolutely gorgeous. Bought them for a steampunk themed halloween costume this year. Generally a size 9-9.5, bought the 9s and they fit perfectly. IF you have a wider foot/calf however, you will likely have issues with these boots. Just as a fair warning. They don't have the stretch in the upper half of the boot and are a standard to narrow foot.
