Nictemaw Electric Cheese Grater with 5 Stainless Steel Blades, 250W

Not sure what I did before this entered my life! Works so well.. cheese comes out perfect and can do so much more than by hand. Cleans very easily and looks great so even if you have to store it on the counter, you are good to go!

Ok, so I really like so much about this electric grater and, in its defense, out of all the various things it says it can grate, cabbage isn’t stated and there is a reason for that omission. I do enjoy that the cutting areas on the different cutter cones aren’t so sharp that they would cut fingers when you’re washing them however, when it comes to shredding cabbage for coleslaw, it’s just too wet and I feel the dullness doesn’t help and it jams up every time I put even a little cabbage down the chute. I would have to pull it all apart and rinse out the cutter cone and start again. (And this just happened so I’m still frustrated.) What was supposed to be a time saver was a time drainer. This is really just a public service announcement to any potential buyers/fellow humans thinking you can make coleslaw with this. It doesn’t work. Anything else, particularly dry items or firm items, good enough. I think I’ll look for a manual grater for my coleslaw. Missing my Presto Salad Shooter about now and it’s years of great service. Should have spent the extra $20 I suppose.

Easy to use works great

This cutter does a pretty good job with hard vegetables. I have RA and have difficulty with chopping. The chopper is a bit noisy but cut through carrots, zuchinni without any trouble. It didn't do a great job on scallions; I used the thick slice blade. Next time I'll use the grate blade. My celery was a bit limp and wouldn't go through. Overall, a great addition to my veg heavy kitchen! The description says the moving parts are dishwasher safe; haven't tried this but plan to!

Plastic part cracks easy and they won't help you replace it they don't sell parts separately, yes I wanted to buy just the plastic part that cracked all the way down but they said no

It is not the strongest and it makes some noise, but for the price it’s pretty good. It is definitely a time saving little appliance and it’s really easy to clean.
