SwitchBot S10 Robot Vacuum Cleaner with Auto Mop, Dual Station, Self Draining/Refilling, 6500Pa Suction, Self Emptying for 70 Days Hands-Free

I’ve held off robovacs for several years due to the perceived hassle of maintaining water / waste stations. Finally this popped up which is to my mind an optimal solution. Supplied with all the bits to plumb it in, which took about 5 minutes under the utility room sink behind the kickboard, with the charging / dry waste station in a nearby cupboard. After that it has been pretty flawless. It has made a noticeable improvement to the cleanliness / tidiness of the kitchen / dining hardwood floors which we now hoover and mop overnight, every night (which we never managed so often otherwise. Manages my deep door bars to the area we used most often, though I still need to make a ramp to access the deepest ones to some other rooms and try the carpet hoovering. Seems pretty clever at avoiding bumping into things and the geofencing in app etc works well. Support have been great with any user questions. All in all I’m pretty impressed, and after my wife’s initial eye rolling she’s now really pleased with ‘Bert’ ! Will update once I get it over the carpets as well.

Edit.. robot is no longer working. There is no sign of any support being answered. Will not connect to WiFi now at all. It slowly stopped working over the past 2 weeks. It would leave base station and work for about 5 mins then just shut down in middle of room and not come back online. I would avoid this product due to lack of support Got this for my parents house which is 1 level and all tiles. It came with lots of fixings for pipes but not enough as I had no way of installing it into the required sink. I had to go and buy additional hardware. I had to learn the difference in plumbing pipes then go and source the relevant part and and install it myself. My trap is a 32mm pipe and not 40mm which is supplied with robot. All that I have left now is to drill the bottom of the cabinet and tidy up the pipes. Robot mapped the house ok apart from reading a fake room through the mirror in guest bedroom. My parents are on holiday so I have the robot working while they are away and I hope my mum is happy to see it when she comes home. Hope that it saves her having to think about cleaning the floors. I noticed that the robot doesn't mop close to the wall but this won't be a massive issue as the rotating brush gets right up to the edge I have a eufy x10 pro which I need to empty and fill the water tanks manually. Interested to see how this performs against it. Will update review once I have it running for a while and see how my mum interacts with it. I have high hopes for this robot. Update.... Been running for about 3 weeks now.my mum was sceptical at the start, now said she cannot do without it already. Can feel the difference of the clean floor underfoot. I prefer this robot over my Eufy x10 pro. I lifted the robot to check all the filters and water compartments and was pleasantly surprised at how clean everything was. The only dirt was the scale left in the dirty water compartment.

To be honest I wanted to get the (overpriced) eufy s1 pro, but I got the SwitchBot instead. Many reviews said the cleaning performance was about the same. The roller mop technology is amazing. I love the plumbed in base station, and the fact you can refil the ultra concentrated solution without needing (twice as concentrated as eufy s1), without the plastic waste of a propiotory cartridge. Every day the floors are sparkley clean and I didn’t do anything other than set up a schedule. App could do with a bit more polish, but to be honest once you’ve set it up you can just leave and forget it. Cleans great. And for anyone on the fence about it, just get it. Save yourself the £500 over the eufy and enjoy having clean floors. Big well done for switchbot making loads of technical progress with this machine, without the need to over hype it with marketing and design. I will admit the design is a bit boring, and I would have preferred a black / dark one. Maybe someone can make some vinyl skins or something. Anyway. Love it. I’m autistic and having super clean floors has made such a positive impact on my life - I can’t stand when you get bits sticking to your feet!

Further EDIT: Switchbot once again missed all promised deadlines for full home assistant integration. No room cleaning available just simpleton/off I feel slightly missold on this aspect but the vacuum remains performing well almost a year in. EDIT Added photo of modified kickboard to house the robot water station for a more discreet finish. Purchased the S10 after watching this product for many months. The S10 has replaced and mostly exceeded the Ecovacs T8 omni it replaces in my house. The mapping feature is incredibly fast and I have not once had to untangle or rescue the robot after roughly 1 month of ownership. Important to add my household has had a robovac for approx 4 years so we are well trained to make sure cables are tidied away doors are closed if needed and obstacles are moved before cleaning. For me the game changer is the auto fill and empty station which connected easily to my UK plumbing thanks to the washing machine fill and drain connections. The mopping function meets my needs as I understand it won’t completely take over my chores as every few months or so I can give the floors a quick once over. Important point to note is that the mopping does not take place right to the edge. I knew this before buying but understand that won’t suit everyone. The moping however greatly outperforms the vibrating plate style of cloth I have replaced which remains dirty throughout cleaning. I am looking forward to full home assistant integration hopefully before May which would make this review 5 stars. The auto empty and charge station is loud when it operates for roughly 20 seconds to empty the dust bin so be warned if this is in a room you use often. The mop drying however is more like a gentle hum for a few hours after cleaning. Build quality seems solid for the first vacuum in the Switchbot range and the suction is top notch as with most robot vacuum cleaners. So far I have found maintenance to be minimum for the roller brush although I do not have pets. I could not say this for the previous vacuum which accumulated hair on the brush often. I haven't had issues with a damp mop smell and the robot cleans and dries the mop after every task. Battery life is good for me and the robot is scheduled to clean the kitchen daily and the whole downstairs 3 times a week. 44m2 takes around 45 minutes and has well over 60 percent battery remaining. I use the S10 on multiple floors thanks to a relatively new feature where mopping can take place on floors without a water station connected. The other floor I use it on has mostly carpet with tiles in the bathroom. I had to manually set the floor materials in the map on the app, so that the vacuum would not mop on carpeted areas as it was hit and miss relying on the robot to do this automatically with my high pile patterned carpets. After doing this I have had no issues and my carpets are dry. I have contacted support a couple of times which isn’t always a fast response, response time varies from 2-4 days. Willing to update this review if this changes. For me this is a premium vacuum which is almost perfect. I am however missing not being able to manually control the camera onboard the robot for security when on holiday and the full home assistant integration that the ecovacs t8 omni had. Would love to see mopping to the edges and an extendable sweeper arm to finish off the package nicely.

Bought two of these one for upstairs and one for downstairs. The one I first installed downstairs the mop wouldn't lower and wash the floor so we messaged seller for a replacement, which they send although the new machine we got the front bumper was stuck and the machine keeps thinking it's hit something and tries to reverse in circles till it stops with an error message. The one that worked to begin with is now doing a really poor job with vacuuming and even worse with mopping, and it leaves dirty water at both the water refilling station and the charger station, there is more work in keeping this robot clean along with area around its stations than if I just vacuumed and mopped the floor manually and its barely a year old.

The SwitchBot S10 is hands-down the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. It vacuums, mops, and even refills and drains water automatically—total hands-off cleaning! The LIDAR mapping is spot-on, it avoids obstacles like a pro, and the suction power is seriously impressive. Quiet, smart, efficient, and reliable. My floors have never looked better. Worth every penny!

Firstly, the vacuum side of things is good. It is powerful on hard floors, but the robot itself get easily tangled up in rugs and frequently bumps into furniture. The app is okay, but not at all intuitive and to change certain settings you have to go into some obscure menus. The mop function simply doesn't work. The robot docks onto the filling station but fails to fill with water. It tries over and over again, but something must be broken. I reached out to Switchbot support, but they respond incredibly slowly and just push you from pillar to post asking you to try different things that make no difference. In the end I contacted Amazon and have initiated a return. It's a real shame. I wanted this product to work.

A good vacuum cleaner which can be activated by Alexa. It also mops the floor if it is plumbed in, or by using the water station as stand alone. However, I have had problems with the water station, so now just use the device as a vacuum cleaner. I have never had to change the dust bag because it is still not full after a year of use, but I have cleaned the device itself a few times. I have hard wood floors throughout a very large flat, with rugs in the living room and bedrooms. The vacuum cleaner adapts to clean the rugs immediately it runs over one without intervention.

I've had my switchbot S10 for about a year and am pleased with it on the whole. It's not a perfect machine, but the things it does well are both unique and excellent. The standout feature is clearly the self draining/filling. It was finicky to get set up, but once it got set up it was great. We did have a problem where the water station stopped working, but the company was quick to send a replacement that has been working ever since. First, Some pros: - it cleans well when maintained. That is the biggest reason why anyone would buy this and I'm happy to report it has met or exceeded my expectations for its ability to clean. - The mapping and navigation generally seems excellent. It gets a little confused by mirrors, but it knows my house well and doesn't bumble around crashing into things to clean. - we have tile, so can't comment on the quality of it cleaning carpet Some cons: The area near the water station (on the ground) and charging station will get dirty and need to be manually cleaned. It doesn't have a perfect way of preventing dirty water from dripping when it disconnects, so it gets pretty filthy. My water station broke at one point, see above, but your milage may vary It does need to be cleaned relatively frequently, but that is just the nature of every machine It handles transitions from one medium to another not well. One of our rooms has a workout mat that it can't climb up on without help and can't get off of well either. On the whole, I'm really pleased with the product. It's not perfect, but at its core it does what it is designed to do (clean your home) well, consistently, and without much intervention. I would buy it again, especially as the price has gone down relative to my purchase

In virtù della delicatezza del prodotto, in questi casi è fondamentale la disposizione degli elementi all’interno del box e, nel caso di Switchbot, sono sempre particolarmente sorpreso dalla ottimizzazione degli spazi unita alla attenzione nel disporre i prodotti al fine di proteggerli anche in caso di botte durante il trasporto. È stato proprio il caso del mio pacco, arrivato con una evidente bozza sulla scatola ma nessun danno al prodotto scaturito dal trasporto. La confezione include: - Robot - Stazione svuotamento automatico - Stazione idrica (la vera chicca! :D ) - Accessori idraulici (davvero tanti da elencare, in ogni caso tutto il necessario per il montaggio) - Strumenti di pulizia (spazzolone per rimozione detriti stazione svuotamento, spazzolino per detriti nel robot) - 3 Sacchetti Monouso (di cui uno già interno alla stazione di svuotamento) - 3 soluzioni liquide da 75ml per il lavaggio del pavimento - 2 Spazzole laterali da montare sul Robot - Manualistica varia Dotazione assolutamente top, commisurata al prezzo di vendita ed al livello premium del prodotto. ESTETICA E QUALITA’ COSTRUTTIVA : 5/5 Da grande utilizzatore dei prodotti Switchbot non posso che essere contento della scelta fatta qualche anno fa nel propendere per un ecosistema domotico after market proprio di questo brand, che tende sempre a curare i dettagli senza perdere di vista le esigenze di adattamento alle componenti legacy. Dei tanti device del brand questo è il prodotto più Premium, il vero Top di Gamma, e si nota dai dettagli: I materiali utilizzati, le finiture, le scelte stilistiche come la cromatura opaca frontale sulla stazione di svuotamente con il marchio centrato, o quella nell’intorno circolare esterno del robot sulla parte posteriore ed, in generale, il design davvero curatissimo di ognuno dei componenti principali (robot, auto empty station, stazione idrica). Oltre all’estetica, la qualità costruttiva che si percepisce “odora” di Device di altissima gamma. Nessuno scricchiolio, nessuna alterazione del comportamento funzionale dovuta a scelte progettuali strane (cosa capitata nell’uso in ambito lavorativo di simili prodotti di altri brand) ed un funzionamento letteralmente perfetto. Possiedo anche il “fratellino minore” che usavo per tutta casa ed ora ho relegato agli spazi angusti, e mi aspettavo che le performances fossero simili con la “sola” comodità aggiuntiva della stazione idrica per il lavaggio autonomo. Invece ho riscontrato che si tratta di un prodotto completamente differente, avvertendo la “complessità ingegneristica” di questo s10 già anche dal peso del corpo principale (molto superiore al piccolo di casa Switchbot), dalla potenza di aspirazione (6500pa vs 2500pa), l’ingegnerizzazione della base autosvuotante che, udite udite, asciuga anche il rullo pulizia a 50° e la dimensioni ben più grandi (diamentro da circa 35cm contro un diametro del piccolo di 25) oltre, ovviamente, alla magica (non trovo altro aggettivo anche solo a pensarla una cosa del genere) stazione idrica che consente il vero passo avanti rispetto a qualsiasi altro robot aspirapolvere/lavapavimenti degli altri brand. INNOVAZIONE : 5/5 Quanti Robot aspirapolvere/lavapavimento esistono sul mercato? Quanti brand? Basti pensare che ne ho posseduto io stesso svariati ed oggi ne possiedo due. Ormai è davvero un ambito saturo, in cui portare delle innovazioni significative è diventato quasi impossibile. In questo caso Switchbot mi ha sorpreso anche piu di quanto fece all’uscita sul mercato del k10+ (il piccolo robot che ora ho relegato agli spazi angusti di casa, in cui offre davvero il meglio di se). Stavolta il brand, evidentemente giovane ma con una fortissima esperienza di user experience e orientamento alla felicità del cliente, ha totalmente rivisto la modalità di utilizzo del device come lavapavimenti. Tralasciando le features che ormai, chi più chi meno, tutti i brand famosi considerano importanti (AI per evitare ostacoli ed identificare Tappeti, Mop per il lavaggio, Navigazione Lidar), nessuno, dico proprio NESSUNO dei brand competitor ha colto la sfida in cui si è buttata a piè pari Switchbot: Lavare un pavimento senza alzarsi minimamente dal divano! Probabilmente impauriti dal fatto che legare un prodotto direttamente al sistema idrico di casa potesse generare issue importanti, nessun top brand ha fatto il passo che è invece riuscita a fare Switchbot: rendere TOTALMENTE autonomo il processo di lavaggio pavimenti senza necessità di immettere acqua e svuotare, ancora peggio, la tanica dell’acqua sporca. In ultimo, non per importanza, il sistema di auto asciugatura a 50° che consente di avere un roll mop sempre pulito e senza muffe. Innovazione da Top Brand, nicchia in cui ormai considero, a pieno merito, Switchbot! Complimenti davvero all’azienda che, ogni volta, riesce a soddisfare i needs cliente a 360° 😊 FUNZIONAMENTO : 5/5 La primissima sensazione nel vedere pubblicizzato un un robot aspirapolvere che ti mappa casa, aspira, lava, si auto-pulisce ed auto-asciuga TOTALMENTE IN AUTONOMIA è stata “ok, dovrò consultare per almeno 3-4 ore il manuale e chiamare un tecnico per il collegamento al sistema idrico”. Beh, niente di piu sbagliato! Arrivato il prodotto, preso dall’enorme curiosità, l’ho sballato in 5 minuti, montato in altri 2 e fatta una configurazione in tempi piu che record: 3 minuti (spostamento della levetta posizionata sotto il coperchio del robot, abbinamento alla wifi di casa, go!) In 10 minuti netti, compreso stupore per i tantintissimi optional e le finiture del prodotto, avevo un robot top di gamma che scorazzava per casa. In pochissimo tempo ed in totale autonomia mi ha mappato la casa. Ho deciso di fare un Fast Mapping (in alternativa c’è anche il Map and Clean) per verificare subito la bontà del mappaggio: sia in termini di rapidità che precisione oltre che silenziosità operativa, davvero sorprendente. In una casa piena di spigoli, tappeti, e oggettistica di modesto ingombro, ha mappato tutto con estrema precisione e non è stato necessario alcun aggiustamento della mappa. Una volta dati i nomi alle stanze, avevo casa mappata con una precisione da catasto! La curiosità era tanta ma la batteria quasi scarica, pertanto ho messo in carica il device pensando di dover poi attendere il giorno successivo per provarlo. Anche in questo caso smentito, in positivo, dalla rapidità di carica che, in pochi minuti, è arrivata al 100% e mi ha consentito di provare il livello di pulizia. Data la mia fissazione per il pulito, non uso mai l’ aspirapolvere a meno della potenza massima (in questo caso 6500pa) e facendo una doppia passata (in questo caso l’intelligenza del robot fa sì che la pulizia duplice avviene passando sullo stesso punto sia in un senso che nell’altro) ed il risultato è stato stupefacente: finalmente un aspirapolvere che sia riuscito a non lasciare davvero nulla per terra. La durata della batteria, in queste condizioni (doppia passata, livello aspirazione max) è di circa 3 stanze medio/grandi, pertanto pulisco casa completa con una ricarica e mezza usando questa configurazione. Tuttavia proverò anche con un livello di pulizia media, confidente nel fatto che il risultato sarà ugualmente ottimo ed, al contempo, riuscirò a pulire tutta casa con una sola ricarica. Alla fine della pulizia, ovviamente il robot trova da solo casa in maniera rapida e precisa e si autosvuota attraverso la base. Forse qui l’unico aspetto leggermente migliorabile: ho la station non fissata al muro ed ogni volta che il robot si spinge contro di essa, la stessa viene leggermente spostata. Risolverò banalmente usando del biadesivo per fissarla al pavimento. Le features sono davvero tantissime: puoi schedulare attività (nel mio caso una volta al giorno), Attivare il blocco bambini con orari di disattivazione, Impostare molteplici mappe (nel caso di piu piani o di configurazioni particolari), gestire la pulizia dei tappeti (in versione standard il robot aumenta la potenza passando sul tappeto ma si può disattivare l’opzione, così come evitare tappeti oppure adattarti ad essi sollevando – durante la pulizia con acqua – il rullo per evitare di sporcarli), impostare l’audio (non solo il volume ma anche la lingua. Finalmente un robot che parla italiano!), Leggere il registro delle attività che sono tutte tracciate, gestire la manutenzione (poca per la verità), configurare l’intelligenza artificiale (per evitare gli ostacoli sia in versione standard che in modalità collisione ridotta nonché gestire lo “start and stop” per ricarica durante una sessione più lunga con ritorno automatico al punto in cui era stato necessario interrompere l’operatività), ritrovare il robot disperso in casa che vi chiamerà con un simpaticissimo “Hey, sono qui” e vi strapperà una risata :D. Ovviamente è possibile settare la pulizia sia per l’intera casa che per singola/e stanza/e o addirittura per porzioni di esse. Ovviamente anche settando eventuali aree vietate. Detto di un funzionamento da aspirapolvere davvero eccezionale, con chicche ad ogni livello e performances superlative, il vero plus è quello in ambito lavapavimenti. Onestamente non avrei mai pensato neanche lontanamente di raggiungere il livello di automazione domotica che gli ingegneri Switchbot non solo hanno pensato ma anche realizzato! Anche solo pensare ad un device che si collegasse direttamente all’impianto idrico di casa come fosse una lavatrice è pazzia dato che un eventuale malfunzionamento potrebbe creare non pochi problemi quali perdite di acqua ed allagamenti. Probabilmente questo, unito alla difficoltà di realizzazione oggettiva, hanno bloccato tutti i top brand ma non Switchbot. La fantasiosa, quanto eccellente, implementazione passa attraverso una stazione idrica (distinta dalla stazione autosvuotante principale) che è dotata di due tubi estremamente flessibili collegati sul retro, uno per l’ingresso dell’acqua (da collegare all’impianto idrico per riempire di acqua fredda e pulita la stazione e pulire il rullo) e l’altro per lo scarico (per far defluire l’acqua sporca post lavaggio). In kit ci sono TUTTI gli accessori necessari per il montaggio. Nel mio caso, spaventato dalla quantità di accessori (che non sono tutti necessari) ho chiamato un tecnico amico, ma dopo averlo visto collegare il tutto in 15 minuti, ho capito che non era necessario e che sarei stato capace di farlo da solo. Davvero intuitive le istruzioni ed eccellente la fornitura di componenti affinchè il tutto possa essere montato in autonomia. La pulizia è ottima, davvero non mi aspettavo tanto. Non riesco a misurare la pressione del rullo sul pavimento ma evidentemente deve essere potetente così tanto da simulare una pulizia con tanto olio di gomito, che mi sarei evitato da molto tempo. È vero che il costo è superiore ai 1000€ ma non appena vi renderete conto che potrete passare un intero pomeriggio sul divano mentre un robottino (non tanto ino) vi pulisce e lava casa senza neanche dovervi scomodare a refillare l’acqua e svuotarlo dell’acqua sporca, allora quella cifra vi sembrerà quasi irrisoria :D La chicca finale, a far comprendere il livello ingegneristico dietro questo robot, è che durante la pulizia, se necessario (in base all’ai del robot stesso) il vacuum fa autonomamente ritorno alla base per scambiare l’acqua e poi torna alla posizione precedente per riprendere la pulizia. Finita la stessa, prima torna alla stazione idrica per svuotarsi, pulirsi e riempirsi di acqua pulita, dopodichè torna alla base autosvuotante principale, dove – udite udite – non solo si ricarica ma si auto pulisce il rollo a 50° per evitare la formazione di muffe! In definitiva, letteralmente entusiasta del prodotto che per performances, gestione dei dettagli, livello di innovazione e, tutto sommato, rapporto qualitá/prezzo (orientato alla qualitá massima) rappresenta un Best Buy e soprattutto quanto di piú tecnologicamente avanzato nel suo settore. Promosso 😎

The robot is great, but the real surprise was the number of included parts that allow for plumbing connections in many different ways. This way, the full automatic mopping function shines.

OMFG I 🦆ing LOVE this thing. Vacuums and mops. It can navigate around almost anything in the house and it leaves the floor shiny and clean. So far it only gets hung up when my kids leave their shoes lying around and it snags a shoelace but it also has obstacle detection so most of the time it just avoids things like that. It won’t replace your regular deep cleaning but in a house with dogs and teenagers it does an amazing job keeping the floor clean in between cleanings.

The idea behind the robot is good. However, there is a major problem with the mopping. I am about to request a full refund if the customer support is not able to fix it remotely with a firmware. Just google about the error and you will see how many people have this issue. Here is the full ticket I have submitted to the support. I have a problem with the mopping functionality. Everything is connected and tested as described in the manual. There is a water pressure. The issue is that the robot reports "Water refilling abnormal". Observations: The clean water gets to the water station. There is a water in the water station reservoir. When I select "Clean mop" option the robot successfully goes to the water station, empties the dirty water reservoir (manually filled for testing) and the mop gets cleaned (the mop rotates and goes UP/DOWN). The mop gets wet. I can see drops of clean water on the station where the robot connects. However, the robot never gets water and the mopping functionality is not working. update: The customer support ensured me that they will fix or replace my main unit. This is a good sign. I will revisit this review if things go well. update: all working now. top customer support
