*Soon to be a Major Motion Picture!* In Marc's Mission , New York Times -bestselling author Jocko Willink delivers a second powerful and empowering Way of the Warrior book about finding your inner strength and being the best you can be, even in the face of adversity. In Way of the Warrior Kid , Marc went from wimp to warrior in one summer. Now, in this second book in the middle grade Warrior Kid series, Marc uses what he learned last summer to help another kid who needs a boost. Can he take the skills he learned from his Navy SEAL uncle Jake to instill the warrior spirit in someone who needs his help? Read them both! Way of the Warrior Kid Marc's Mission Review: A Powerful Sequel Packed with Life Lessons for Young Readers - Marc's Mission is the second installment in the Way of the Warrior Kid series by Jocko Willink. Following Marcโs growth from the first book, this sequel dives deeper into his journey of self-improvement under the mentorship of his Navy SEAL uncle, Jake. Changed my son's life.
I ordered these for my son and he devoured the entire series. He struggles with being very hard on himself and has a hard time with failure. These stories changed his whole perspective on what it means to fail. One day, after his first basketball practice, I asked him how it went... He sighed and said, "Well, I learned how to lose." I asked him what he meant and after an explanation what he said was that Jocko said (I Way of the Warrior Kid) that failure is an opportunity to learn (which is a concept supported in the story). This totally changed his perspective on failure. I times past, a day like that would have ended with tears and him beating himself up for any mistake, which I would spend so much time encouraging him and trying to communicate what this story seemed to plant in his brain in just the way he needed. I'll be forever grateful. I buy and recommend these books to everyone I know has kids.

My Boys love these books!
My boys love these books! They made a request to the librarian at school to add them to the library. If your kids are in school three of them are Accelerated Reader books. These books have motivated my kids and encouraged them that they can do hard things!

Great motivational book for children
I purchased the set so my review will be the same for each book as it applies equally to each one. The set was purchased for me to read as an adult. I was very curious what a decorated Navy Seal could teach children and I found myself agreeing and laughing throughout each of the books. Not only do I believe these stories can teach valuable lessons and be a force for motivation in a child but they would work equally as well with an adult. The more I read the more I was motivated to do better myself. For childrenโs books I also found them to be thought provoking. They represent much of what I believe is missing for many children. They represent values that can only make them better people while also giving them the actual real world tools to succeed at any goal they decide to accomplish with self discipline being at the top of that list of tools. I believe these books can offer a child a life changing moment. Thankfully I had great parents but even so these books would have only enhanced my upbringing decades ago. I am an avid reader and my first motivational book was not until I was about 13 and my last one was this set at 55. Marc is lucky to have had an Uncle Jake a true mentor at an even younger age. I look forward to passing these books on because I know it will be a life changing moment for someone. As another well known motivational author has written " A Book Can Change Your Life" Jim Rohn

This book is a hit!
โWay of the Warrior Kid" was a hit in our household! My 5 year old son and I both thoroughly enjoyed following Marc's journey as he learns important life lessons from his uncle, a Navy SEAL. The book strikes a perfect balance between real life feelings/emotions scenes and valuable insights, making it engaging for both kids and adults. It sparked meaningful discussions about discipline, perseverance, and self-improvement, and left us feeling inspired to tackle challenges head-on. Highly recommend for families looking for an exciting and empowering read! Canโt wait to read the next one.

Good!
For a Neanderthal looking knuckle dragging retired SEAL, Jocko has amazing insight and can relate to kids in an amazing way!!! My kid and I have all the Warrior Kid books and listen to the Warrior Kid podcast (although Jocko could update the podcast more often) Many, many life lessons are covered in the books, and we discuss them often. When my kid has problems at school, the common thing is to say, what did Jocko say about that. So many of the problems kids face, bullies, lack of confidence, lack of discipline and more is addressed by Jocko. Amazingly he has the ability to put into words many of the lessons I want my kid to learn. Highly, highly recommend these books for any parent!!! Jockoโs other books for adults are also highly highly recommended!!! I learned a ton about good and bad leadership in the military, but Jocko takes it an order of magnitude higher.

Huge hit with my grandson!
The book really exceeded my expectations. It is a real fun read for kids but what's more important, it provided my grandson with a new angle on his young life. He got so fired up with it, that we started going to his martial arts class 2x week instead of once a month. He really became tougher overnight and in a really nice way! Bravo - huge recommendation! Other books from the series are already on their way to us.

want to know how to help your kid with bullying?
loved this book - great for a kid to learn how to be a decent human, a protector and a pal. Ive passed my copies to my son so he can read them to his son who's 6 at the moment and is destined to be anything he wants to be. I loved the sections on fitness and 'getting after it' but more so the pages on bullying and thinking through it analytically... not easy at all at 6 years old, but if just 1 thing sticks in the kids head then just maybe it might be the thing that helps him deal with it...and not become bully also. I look forward to book 3

Timeless life lessons
Good timeless life principles on being a leader, provider and masculine. Fantastic for kids to instill good quality values to be a contributing member to society and have the exposure to understanding the benefits of discipline and care for others, self and things. Albeit aimed at children, as an adult this is an outstanding read. Thanks Jocko for putting out such an important book for the next generation.
