OUTSTANDING FIGURINE. I am VERY happy to have this piece, it's excellently priced, it is very well made, the colors and detailing is very sharp, and I like the sizing

The pictures are amazingly done, so do be prepared for the fact that he is plastic, but it is darned high quality plastic. I stuck my tiger on my computer printer and look at him all the time. I was originally looking for werewolf statues, and happened on the stunning line of Papo mutants. The didn't have a werewolf but do have some amazingly nice wolves. This is something that children or adults will enjoy and it would make a great gift. Especially for people who live in small spaces. Their range of animals is quite large and the dragons just blow me away. I think I want all of those... these figures are so intricate and creative that they are truly a work of art. I will definitely be buying more from this line of products! The detail on the face is so finely done that I have to put on my reading glasses to see it all. His sword and axe can be adjusted but all the other body parts are fixed. The long handle of the axe had become slightly bowed during packaging and shipping.(God, now I just sound so nerdy.) :)

The axe is removable. The face painted better then the lion. Cool. Standing good. High quality.

The figure looks good for what my 7yo wanted, we were not disappointed with the paint as some have been. However our figure arrived with a broken tail. The tail is necessary to balance the figure so that it stands upright. This is the second figure from this shop that we’ve had break within the first day of play which is frustrating because all of the reviews we read indicated they held up well to play.

The picture that Amazon has posted the paint job is great; it is a muscular figure and well worth the price. In reality however, the paint job is crappy, the figure is not muscular at all, and not worth the cost and shipping.I am really disappointed with the paint job. In the picture there is white on the tigerman's stomach and parts of his face. My figure has no white anywhere. His left ear is painted silver! In the picture he has bulging shoulder, chest and arm muscles. In my figure he looks really too thin. I think the picture Amazon is showing is the prototype for the toy, because mine looks nothing like that. I think I'm going to use some white acrylic paint to mine to try and get it to look like the picture. I also bought the crocodile man, and was really impressed.

This is a great, durable, imaginative figure.There are some complaints here about the paint being less than excellent. It's true the paint is obviously a production-line job, but as far as production line toys go, this is by *far* one of the better paint jobs I've seen.Also the paint is durable! Ours goes into the sandbox, the bathtub, fights with Matchbox cars, jumps off the bunk bed - you name it! And through it all he still looks great.I think the weapons are not supposed to be removable, but ours can be removed. (Ask an eight year old, they'll figure it out.) I also love his pose. He looks just as menacing without his weapons as with.We also own the Papo "Crocodile Man", another excellent figure.

I saw a customer review claiming they felt like there was abit of false advertising going on, that there tiger figure was pale. Well I hope they understand that PAPO & SCHLIECH make detailed hand painted figures. I got my figures today & my tiger was dark with vivid colors I got a red Knight from schliech that had such dark shadows that he looked dirty my point is that no 2 are excactly alike so be happy you got a lighter colored tiger man he's your's a blondey & nobody else has one like him!
