Most sprayers, Solo, Stihl, etc use 3/8" diameter hose. This wand has a stepped hose barb connection to accommodate 1/4" and 3/8" ID tubing. This range should cover almost all sprayers. Do not forget to purchase a replacement hose clamp. **Q: Would this fit a Northstar Model 2270 26 gal sprayer?** A: Your sprayer has a 3/8" hose according to the Amazon script. My wand has a universal connector from 3/16" to 3/8", so yours should be compatible. I believe that you can get replacement connectors from Solo . **Q: Can you adjust the stream to get enough pressure to clean under a truck with this?** A: The nozzle adjusts from spray to steam very well. It will depend on the pressure on the garden sprayer how far it sprays. **Q: Can you lock the handle for continuous spray?** A: The handle does not lock for continuous spray. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unleash Your Inner Weed-Whacking Warrior with the Solo Weed Spray Wand! *by J***N on 2 March 2023* I recently purchased the Solo Weed Spray Wand from Amazon, and let me tell you, I'm feeling like a true weed-whacking warrior! This nifty little tool has made the task of getting rid of pesky weeds so much easier. Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to feel like a weed-whacking superhero. Just be prepared to feel a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment like no other! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ works well *by O***T on 14 June 2021* I was concerned regarding the all plastic construction. Turns out there is no need for concern. Adjustable spray tip works well. The valve comes apart for easy cleaning. The wand has 2 barb sizes for connection to sprayer hose. No issues putting it to work. Nice positive shut off when trigger released. Fits my Hudson pack pack sprayer just fine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great for 18V Ryobi 4-gallon sprayer (P2806) *by H***D on 12 May 2025* Easy replacement for 18V Ryobi P2860 (package) / P2806 (sprayer) - the 4 gallon backpack chemical sprayer. Ryobi apparently only covers these components for 90 days under warranty, so don't waste your time trying to take it to a service center. Didn't need the wand or other components, but will be handy as spares. My hose was fine, but if yours isn't check out the video by TheLawnMechanic on YouTube about replacing the hose. I imagine the barb fitting and hose clamp in this would work just fine. Not a complete replacement for part 316622001 (Handle and hose assembly) but was good enough for my problems. ## Frequently Bought Together - Solo 4900170N 28-Inch Universal Sprayer Wand And Shut-off Valve, Black - 2pcs 90 Degree Elbow 3/8" Hose Barb to 1/2" NPT Male Brass Barbed Fitting by CX WONDERLAND --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/62421412-solo-4900170n-28-inch-universal-sprayer-wand-and-shut-off](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/62421412-solo-4900170n-28-inch-universal-sprayer-wand-and-shut-off) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
