Loved this kit! The directions are clear, the pieces are good quality, and there are tons of different robot builds to try. Very cool! From the photos on the box I thought this might be a bit too easy for my 9 year old but it was perfect. You can build several different solar powered items…13 I believe. So far we’ve only done 2 since the kids don’t want to take the first one apart until they’re through playing with it thoroughly. The best part is the questions and amazement of how solar power actually works. It’ll turn even the youngest person into an engineer lol.

Purchased for a 9 year old grandson for a christmas present. He was excited until we found out that the super, tiny, itsy-bitsy motor didn't work - oh the tears and was just crushed that he and I spent so much time building this together, had a wonderful grandpa - grandson time together and the motor didn't work. We even tested as instructions said, before building and all the time I was trying to work out possible ways to get it to work. Put a volt meter on it and figured that the solar panel worked, but when connected to the motor, dead. Could not get a refund (not even 30 days out - that tells me a lot, so I purchased another just for the motor - it at least worked. I would advise even though it is about learning to build and make something, if you want it to work and your kid not be crushed, maybe buy a more expensive one where all parts will work as advertised. This was a double purchase for me to not look like a cheapskate to my grandson, giving him a gift that didn't work and I could not get a refund on my purchase. I was disappointed that Amazon would not allow it either.

The pcs doesnt fit, i am not sure if mine is the only problem or what but the gear that is supposed to be in the pole like stick doesnt fit we tried every possible thing but no it doesnt fit

Product does not work at all. The solar system is too small for the engine. Instructions are poorly written. I tried to help my child build it, but couldn’t follow the instructions. Request refund.
