Cheap practice
Not bad for the price. I use it to practice breath control, sight alignment trigger control and follow through. Usually 7 yards on a paper plate for a target. Very easy to take down and lubricate. Does not have a stiff trigger and breaks clean. Nice training device

The mist important thing to know, is don't buy it.
Umarex should be ashamed to produce, and distribute, this springer. I've been airgunning for years now. Having CO2, PCP and BreakBarrel rifles and pistols and the DSX45, in my opinion, is junk. Even for the price. Yes it's cheap but, for UMAREX, this is rock bottom. First, it's difficult to cock. Second, sometimes it clocks other times it doesn't. Third, the drop out magazine, like the rest if the gun, is very cheaply made. Drop it, it's going to break. I lubricated everything and still it won't cook properly. Plus, there not supposed to be, but BB's are rattling around inside. I'll have to take it apart to get them out. If you're interested in a spring powered airgun buy the DX17 by UMAREX. It is better built, easier to operate and it will fire pellets or BB's. Comparing the two, the DX17 is inexpensive and, when cocked, fires every time.

Good for the price
Not bad for what it is. great backyard plinker or warning for pests and vermin. I had no problems with jamming. Seems accurate enough at this price and power point and looks good. Very easy to load with a universal loader.

Blew apart, it's junk!
Bought this for our son for Christmas. He shot it a couple times quickly but it was winter and we live in Michigan so he's just now getting it out. Went to shoot and the whole thing blew apart, of course losing pieces in the process. Its a huge gun that's all plastic and hard to rack as well. Now we have to replace it. Do not recommend!

More bang for the buck.
I like it. Watched a few short YT videos for clarity. The slide action was indeed tight. Used a small amount of SILICONE spray on the slide, works great. Easy to fill BB's. It feels great when holding it. Would buy again just because of the price.
