One family that took children that had been abused, neglected, abandoned, or simply forgotten and turned their lives around with boundless love, compassion, and understanding. Truly makes a person believe in the power of love.

Daniel’s kindness and generosity showed Tasha she was worth of forgiveness. I liked the decisions she made. Daniel was perfect for Tasha, and they were lucky to find each other. The Mavericks are great. This is my second book to read in the series. I am sure they are all wonderful.

Daniel Spencer, a billionaire owner of a world wide chain of home improvement stores has a mountain cabin he is building at Lake Tahoe and plans to spend a peaceful week working on his home in the mountains. Then he hears a scream in the woods and goes to the rescue of his new neighbor, Tasha Summerfield when she slipped on her roof and is hanging by a gutter when he gets to her. He knows she is hiding something when she will not talk about her past. Regardless, he finds himself "Wild in Love" with her.With a lot of patience, the help of his Maverick brothers he gains her trust to get to a happy ending for the fifth Maverick brother, although it the path to happiness was full of setbacks and problems to be solved making this a great love story.

Who wouldn't love to be a part of the Maverick family?!?! These guys are a create your own family that loves without limits - as long as you are faithful to them and make them happy! This is technically book 5 but I started here and was perfectly able to understand and love everything about the story!The author takes the reader on a roller coaster ride of highs, lows and WTF's?!? The reader can't help but be on the edge of their seat trying to figure out what is going to happen next - every time they think that they are getting close, the author takes them in another direction. The reader can't help but zoom through the pages of the story trying to see what is going to happen next while at the same time not wanting the story to end.I am going to go back and read the beginning of this series - I can't wait to see how the other Maverick's have gotten together with their wives/girlfriends and of course I need to know what happens to get them to this point. A must read and a must read now! Be prepared to not want to do anything else but read this book once they start - Be prepared to want to do nothing but read!Add this to your TBR list and you won't be sorry!

Anyhow, that's how Daniel met and rescued her hanging from her cabin's roof top. Daniel Spencer, a self made DIY video millionaire, saw her and immediately fell in love with her. Tasha met his four adopted brothers, and she opened up to them about her father, fiance Eric, and brother Drew's cons, while he melted the barriers she erected. Yes they went from Hello to "Marry me!" , in less than two weeks to HEA, all over a Memorial Day weekend!!The dialogue was repetitive; the plot was lackluster and unbelievable for a woman with trust issues. Drew's commuted sentence to do community service, after bilking all those people out of millions of dollars, was elitism and white privilege displayed to the nth degree. Daniel's mother's bumpy story was unimaginative to say the least. But I cleared another book from my TBR shelf! Read this at your own risk... This is a steamy, sexy story about young woman who needs to forgive herself & a DIY mogul who is willing to help her get there. There just might be a bit of puppy love thrown in there too!

An unlikely love story, where circumstances throw 2 people together. They just match. Incredible magic and love.Smooth writing. A must read.

Short story yet such an inspiring and lively message. Life is about struggles and hardship but being determined and focused gets you through. And with love and support of family anything is possible. And with true love you can find courage and overcome your biggest fears. Loved Daniel and Tasha mountain tale

Great read!

This book started off differently than I was expecting it to. Daniel Spencer, I’ve been waiting for this book, the elusive maverick in my opinion, he’s funny, he’s sexy and he’s so damn brooding too! He’s waiting for the happy ending that his fellow mavericks have. He gets it but not without a struggle along the way.Tasha needs to escape so she finds a cabin and decides to watch videos to help her do it up. She gets a lot done but she manages to get herself in a bit of a problem and Daniel who owns the cabin down the hill is there to save her. She’s very closed off which to be fair makes sense after what her family did to her. I do love how they slowly get to know each other. Tasha does not make it easy.Daniel is immediately enamoured by her and when he finds out that she watches his ‘how to’ videos, he is amused. When they rescue the puppies, my heart went, and my ovaries went boom. The way she slowly accepts that he’s not going anywhere was sexy as anything. I’m so glad I got a chance to read this story, and for all Bella/Jennifer fans, you’re going to love it!

This is such a marvellous book to read!Daniel Spencer was standingoutside at Fallen leaf lake on his own to build his dream lake house. He decided to do it here because of the most beautiful mountain ranges and the scenery was so unbelievably beautiful and so incredibly peaceful too. Simply a great place to escape.It had been at least been a few months since he had even seen any only neighbours nearby. until now he noticed a small cabin will a noisy old truck outside. Still Daniel never wanted to interrupt them. He decided to leave them in peace.Daniel canes from a most wonderful, close family. His other Maverick brothers were already luck to find their own perfect partners in life. Daniel realised that he was the only one still alone. Daniel was so well known today. He was so famous. Only now he still felt that there was someone out there, just for him too.Daniel was so lucky growing up. He had the most understanding parents. They were always there for all of them. To teach them about values. These parents who taking in the Mavericks into their home and into their heart too.Now he had built this house, only the outer layer and completed all the interior extras too. When finally he knew he’d have to head back home, back to his work. I decided to go and have a quick swim in the lake for fun!Near by Tasha Summerfield, set up to build and fix up her new home, her cabin. She climbed upon to repair the roof from rain damage so using a tarpaulin sheet to protect the entire area. She kept working hard trying to do her best.Such an unbelievable book this is. I thoroughly enjoyed it so much. A complete wonderful fairytale romance this was. I completely adored this fabulous characters too!!
