Ordered this after seeing the positive reviews. I had a smaller pillow for my mastectomy and realized it wouldn’t cover the area I needed to protect after abdominal surgery. This pillow is super soft, extremely comfortable, covers my entire torso (for reference, I am 5’4), the pocket in front can hold a lot of things that are helpful to have readily available when you can’t move around. The whole front flap works as a hand warmer, or just a nice place to keep your hands. There’s a pocket on the back for the ice/heat pack that is included with the pillow. I didn’t use the strap to go around my waist but did use the strap around my neck for standing up and moving around especially if I wanted the things I kept in the pockets nearby. I highly recommend this pillow for post surgical procedures

This pillow was exactly what I needed after my hysterectomy! It was soft, comfortable, and protective. I have a cat that likes to jump and walk on my tummy and this kept me safe, my "cat armour"! It was great to sleep with it on, and for daytime stuff. The pockets on both sides are great, the straps are stretchy and adjustable. It was everything I needed, and what I didn't know I needed to help during my recovery. Also, it came with the sweetest note card that brought a tear to my eye. It felt very heartfelt and personal. Thank you!

This pillow really helped with my hysterectomy. I wore it home to protect and hold on my belly on the way home from the hospital. I kept it on me or close by for the first week. I have big dogs so it helped keep a barrier if they tried to jump on me. Good barrier if you have small children also. You can sleep with it , walk with it. Put heating pads or ice packs in the pockets on the inside. Put your phone on the front pocket. Also great to support your belly if you cough or sneeze cause it’s gonna hurt. My emotional support pillow was fantastic.

This pillow was expensive ($73). Honestly, worth it! I had a total abdominal hysterectomy (TAHBSO), this pillow has been everything. It works as a coughing/sneezing pillow (yes, you need one), I use it as a seatbelt cushion, and I also use it in bed to prop under me. to sorta sleep on my side. The design is brilliant. The straps are so handy, and the pouches hold just about everything. One holds a hot /cold pack, the other holds the remotes, my phone, some gum, it even fits the vacuum thingy I was sent home with, to prevent infection (it’s attached to me and has to go everywhere with me for the first 12 days). It’s also soft and cuddly. I researched a lot going into this surgery. I bought a lot, which ultimately got returned. This pillow and my soft heating pad is all I really need.

I really liked this pillow and icepack set. I like to be able to wash things so I placed all of the loose stuffing it is filled with in a plastic bag to insert and remove easily. I also made it a bit firmer with a foam pad. It was great when I was in the car and sitting or laying down, I could use it behind my back or head. As I moved around more, I liked the front and back pockets & after awhile used this more as a purse to transport my stuff as I went from rm to room. It was kinda hard to see past it when walking at times (especially stairs,) so I recommend using it like a backpack or sling it over the shoulder then. I think at times wearing it in the front, it helped my posture a bit though. Definitely keeping me from bending forward. I think people stayed back a bit more, like when I went in for my f/u 🤣. I used the icepack the most after awhile since it was so nice and big. It froze quickly and lasted a really long time. After awhile though, I found it easier and more efficient to wrap the icepack in a longer shirt then tuck that into my waist band instead of keeping it in the pillow. The pillow is nice and fluffy, could be compressed fairly small. Especially at the beginning, when you have the coughing fits while recovering from the breathing tube or have to sneeze, it was nice to have the pack in vs out and I used both hands to push it towards my abdomen firmly IYKYK.
