Review: Love the light - Very bright light! Bought this light for our 7 year old because I thought he would like it since it's so big. The light is very bright. I may buy a few more for the farm to do chores with. Very happy with the quality. Review: Finish fabricating it yourself? - I’m a fan of the headlamp type lanterns. This a pretty strong light. You can never really rely on what the seller says for lumens. I’ve seen some unbelievable claims, but this headlamp emits a pretty bright beam. The only two issues that I have with this lamp is first, that it’s not adjustable. It’s nice to have a light where you can tone down the beam, or focus it, in order to save on the battery. But secondly, it seems like it came unfinished. I have no problem putting the straps onto the headlamp, but it seems like you have to install the orange silicone piece in the yellow foam piece yourself. It doesn’t feel like it fits in properly. After using it at night, and turning it on and off a handful of times, I feel like there’d be a good chance that the orange silicone piece would fall right out, and there goes your switch!
