TLDR; you are paying for the isofix and ensuring your child does not fly forward with the seat if you do an emergency brake. This really does the job! Good responsive support service. Quality product.Safety: We were looking at car seats for travel and there are many cheaper alternatives like the Maxi-Cosi Nomad which we considered but we saw some horrible reviews about the car seat not really securely attached to the seat so the child can actually fly forwards with the car seat because it is reliant on the car seat belt alone. We bought the RyRy for the isofix and in addition, you have options to also back tether or use seat belt in combination with the iso fix. This really just guarantees that the car seat does not fly forwards with the child.Comfort: I was on a week long holiday and we drove daily. Not a single complain from my daughter about getting on the car seat and she slept in it during the car journey almost every day that week. Her head does sometimes hang fowards but I am not aware of anything that can stop a sleeping childs head from leaning forwards. Overall she accepted it immediately and it looks comfortable.Portability: This thing is heavy, I think its actually heavier to carry than our yoyo stroller! Its solid, I am glad I just carry it onto the luggage trolley then checked it in because I wouldn't really want to carry this (even with the back straps). The backpack is designed very well, so you can remove and safety store the straps inside the backpack etc.Support: As mentioned, I decided to check mine into the luggage hold so I wasn't really that impacted but turns out my back straps didn't come with the buckle attachments to attach it to the car seat! I was so confused when I saw just two back straps and spend a good 20 minutes trying to figure out what I am suppose to do with them. I contact support after my holiday and they responded within an hour and sent a replacement strap to me for free. They were polite, responsive and apologetic. I got my straps 2 days later. Overall I am happy with the service received.Longevity: This is to decided because my child is 78cm tall but her shoulder only have 3-4cm gap from the large head rest? Can it really last until they are 105cm? I am currently skeptical.

We purchased this for international travel for our youngest child. We were so impressed with the combination of being compact and comfortable, that we actually now use it for an everyday car seat at home. This allows the other kids more room in the back seat!Yes, the price is for that of a premium car seat, but the clever design and the high quality of the materials used, leaves us very satisfied with our RyRy. Well worth it.

Nice compact car seat with travel bagThe car seat is foldable and saves space when flying or stored at the back.The seat is secure and provides optimum protection for my little one.I like the travel-back built-in handles, which allow you to hold the car seat in different positions.The Forward-facing car seat is a safety-certified EU R129 I-size, and you can see the label stickers, which some airlines will check before allowing the passengers to use the seat.The colour looks beautiful and is made of good quality fabric.What I didn’t like was the comfort of the seat, which is not perfectly padded; you can feel the rigid structure of the chair, especially on the base; however, the back side is ok.Overall, the seat is well made, and it could have been better considering the price! (lost 1 star)

All the child car seats that I see are bully and they take up a lot of space,But I was impressed with this one, being an aunt I just want the safety od my niece, so I got this to see if it's all that.And I'm impressed, it's well made and if came well packed, it fits my niece's age and it's easy to install in my car, it's safe and it doesn't take space when not in use because it can be all folded and put in its bag, how cool it's that?My niece is happy, and it's very light too.Value for money, probably not but, you are paying g for safety, quality and convenience
