Does the job well!
Used it for two on location photo shoots so far and it works like a champ! Remote has 4 buttons, which is a bit confusing because they all do the same thing. Oh well, it works exactly what I need it for.

Didn’t work
Finally got some fog juice and was excited to try it out but it was a flop. An issue with the power supply had it dead on arrival. It’s not the rechargeable version shown here either so they must have updated since I received it..pretty strange.

There is a reason this is a frequently returned item.
There is a reason this is a frequently returned item. It's hard to keep charged and to work when you want it.Also, the remote works on other things so you need to be careful!

Great price and product.
The media could not be loaded. Lasts several hours on a single charge. Had it hidden inside a coffin for Halloween parade. Parade was almost 2 hours of walking. Remote control if fantastic and works from several yards away.

This little beast is a game-changer!
This little beast is a game-changer! We stuffed it inside a chimney on set for a musical, and BOOM—instant magic! The remote works like a charm from across the stage, the smoke output could rival a dragon, and the portability is top-notch. Seriously, this thing is a smoke machine on steroids! The tank lasts longer than a backstage coffee break, and it’s so good, I’m tempted to buy a few more just to spread the smoky love. If you need a smoke machine that delivers and then some—this is it!

Concerned about the power supply
The media could not be loaded. This is essentially a 400 watt fog machine that has a battery strapped to it. It's a decent design, and although I don't know how the electronics are put together (you have to turn the battery display on before you can tell what the battery level is, and you have to turn th machine on to warm it up and use it- those two circuits are completely independent- your battery can be showing 100%, and when you turn the machine on, all of a sudden your matter level is now 89%? Strange). The main concern I have is the power supply. It didn't want to work at first. It appears that the charging regulator is in the power supply. It's supposed to be red if charging, and green when done. Mine was blinking off/on, with a strange red/green color combo. I had to cycle the power several times, and plug and unplug the power supply several times, until the light went red and the unit showed that there was charging going on (the battery indicator does not tell you if it's charging). And the power supply gets really, really hot. Especially at the beginning of the charge cycle (this machine was new and less than 20% charge for safety reasons during shipping). I don't see the power supply lasting too long. And if this is a specialized power supply that regulates the charging, are there replacements available?

SMALL UNIT
IT's OK but it's a small unit and doesn't have much of a reservoir, which means it's not going to last very long on Halloween without refilling. I'll have to rig an additional reservoir. The remote is a very nice touch. It does have a WIRED remote receptacle but no controller to plug into it, and so I'm unsure whether it even works. This fills my 30x30 Halloween "graveyard" area nicely, though.
