PERFECT for Protein Shakes and Over Ice Cream or in Oatmeal! Try it out!
I have been trying out a lot of the powdered peanut butters--I think it is a pretty novel idea and want to see what it is like. And what a great treat this product is! Powdered peanut butter is NOT a gimmick--it is a great alternative. First, as a peanut butter, that is mixing it with water per the directions, this product is not very good. It is a gummy kind of peanut butter, and really doesn't taste the same. It is a little odd. BUT that is not what it is really great for. This product is AMAZING for mixing with protein shakes. I will mix this with my protein powder in my shaker cup and it will mix almost perfectly. It tastes great without the added fat and calories, but it still has a lot of protein in it. It is perfect for that use, and I am sure you can mix this in with other smoothies in a blender easily. Great product for that. This is also excellent for an ice cream topping or dessert topping! I have sprinkled this over ice cream and it was a perfect topping and powder. It is also great over some pies like pecan pie sprinkled over. Thus, I have essentially been using this like sprinkles on ice cream. It is great because it also adds protein. Additionally, I mix this with oatmeal for some added flavor and it both thickens up the oatmeal a little and adds great flavor.

Sooo good, perfect for protein shakes and toast
I was 100% skeptical, even after two family members recommended it, because I LOVE peanut butter, and will only eat the super-crunch kind. However, I didn’t like the crunchy pb when blended with my protein shakes (even in a Ninja) and the natural kind tends to scrape/tear up bread (less oil, less smooth), especially toast. So when this was an Amazon deal and half off, I thought, “why not.” It was the absolutely correct decision. It gives me all the pb flavor I love in the shake without the graininess from real/crunchy pb, with a lot less calories and fat. It does also have the right consistency to put on toast or an English muffin. Two tricks I use: 1. Don’t add all the recommended water, or at least add incrementally while stirring. Using less makes it thicker (obv), which is better in this case. 2. I use a little whisk to mix it, vs a spoon or fork. They’re great for mixing hot chocolate too, and are like $3 at Walmart.

A fantastic substitute for real peanut butter.
As the title says, this is a fantastic substitute for real peanut butter. Between this and the chocolate flavor, I like this one the most just due to the fact that it more closely resembles the taste and consistency of real peanut butter. The lower sugar count is also a plus. Is it the same as the real thing? No, but it's close enough and does the trick for those trying to manage calories, fats (primarily saturated) and any other macro-nutrients. Also, it's great for portability in respect to the fact that you can carry it with you without refrigeration or a cooler and then just mix it whenever you are ready use it. I often carry the powder in a Dixie cup and then just mix it when I'm ready to eat it. That way i don't have to worry about a pre-made sandwich getting all messy during transport or soaking the bread before I am ready to eat it. Additionally, it has other great uses as well. I find it a great addition when mixing it with oatmeal, cereal or pancakes. You honestly don't have too many limitations with the stuff. Pro Tip: For a creamier and tastier consistency, mix it with unsweetened almond milk(or milk of choice) and if you want some added flavor, you can always add a pinch of cinnamon or something similar. Now that they have moved more towards the plastic jars, my confidence level in shipping of the product has gone up as well. Previously, I was always concerned with punctures in the bags that led to leakage and potential loss in freshness/quality whereas now, that is no longer an issue. I simply love this stuff and I have ordered this product several times and can easily recommend it.

Convenient and good tasting substitute for peanut butter
I bought the powdered peanut butter because it's more convenient, not because it has less fat; in fact, I would buy a full fat peanut butter powder. With the powder I can both have peanut butter for dipping and add it to smoothies, pancakes, muffins, oatmeal, etc. I'm not a big nut butter consumer (prefer to eat my nuts raw), but it's great to have powder for some recipes. I know real peanut butter stores well a long time... but I feel more comfortable with storing for 2-3 months the powdered version that the butter version. Following the packaging instructions I get creamy peanut butter which tastes like the real thing. I was really impressed. It doesn't taste like a roasted good quality peanut butter, but it's definitely tasty. I would suggest a tad less water if you want a thicker peanut butter; 1 tbsp water / 2 tbsp powder yields a creamy but runny consistency. The only problem is that when I add it to baking products, pancakes and hot oatmeal, I find that it doesn't give too much peanut butter flavor. I can smell it, but I can barely taste it. For baking and pancakes if I add more powder (for more flavor), the end results gets very dry. I think that the cooking process affects the taste, because I feel more the flavor in overnight oats. The powder mixes well with liquids, it dissolves quick and smooth. I even add it in Greek yogurt. I tried other brands of powdered peanut butter, the Bell Plantation PB2 has the most flavor. I could skip the extra sugar

Oh, wow... I love it!
Okay... I just got my Amazon order today and this was one of the items. Of course, I just had to try this stuff immediately, so I put 3 tablespoons into a bowl and tasted a little bit of the unreconstituted powder. Interesting. The taste is extra 'peanutty' and reminded me of something. The filling in Reese's Peanut Butter Cups? Yeah, but that's not it exactly. I dribbled enough water into the powder to make something resembling the consistency of regular peanut butter and tasted it again. Definitely more peanutty than regular peanut butter, in fact it's even more peanutty than the roasted peanuts in a can or jar. This stuff was giving me a sense memory, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out what it was. Another taste, then...that's it! This stuff reminds me of the roasted peanuts in the shell that we used to buy at a roadside stand when I was a kid! All that's missing is the smell of the peanuts actually in the process of roasting. This is definitely going to be my peanut butter of choice from here on out and I'll be dong some experimenting to substitute it for regular peanut butter in recipes. The only suggestion I would make would be to make a different style available that adds in a slightly coarser grind to the powder so that the feel in the mouth is not quite so pasty for those who prefer the consistency of regular peanut butter. That said, this very powdery stuff is going to make a killer Thai style peanut sauce and dressing!

Great product that changed my eating habits
As much as I liked peanut butter I stayed away from it because of the high fat content. PB2 took the fat out of peanut butter. It comes in a powdered form that you add water to and voila! you have PB. It's great for cooking stuff that you add peanuts to, only you can add a lot more peanut flavor with PB2 and have a lower fat meal. And if you are looking for plain old peanut butter for a PB&J sandwich, this product is your dream come true. Great peanut butter that you won't feel guilty eating. I am adding to the above months after writing the review. Some time ago I decided to change my eating habits and lose weight permanently. In a few months I went from 195 lbs to 155. I was never "fat" at 6 feet tall and have always worked out daily. However, at age 70, I thought it was time to permanently thin down for health reasons. As a peanut butter fanatic, nothing has helped me more in the thinning process than PB2. It is an absolutely great product. I tested some regular peanut butter after months of eating PB2, and my taste buds have learned to reject the excess fact in regular peanut butter. The downside is that none of my clothes fit, but I can literally live with that.

Protein & flavor made easy
I have enjoyed smoothies for many years, but a medical problem now makes them a necessary part of my diet. I no longer produce saliva, which causes more problems than one might imagine. My taste buds now perceive many things - even water - as being very bitter, and I have trouble chewing and swallowing such things as bread, meat, and many vegetables. As a result, my food has to be mostly liquid and soup-like. Even a smoothie has to be much thinner than many recipes produce, leaving such ingredients as bananas, thick yogurt, and peanut butter out of my blender. A hospital dietician told me to try using PB2 to add protein and flavor to my smoothies without adding much if any thickness. I now make at least one PB2-included smoothie every day. It also is a good-tasting ingredient in many types of soup. Even if my salivary glands went back online tomorrow, I would continue using PB2 to enrich and flavor my food. It tastes great, blends easily (no globs left in the bottom of the blender), and adds a non-caloric boost to everything I add it to.

Peanut Butter Goodness!
This stuff is delicious! I put it in smoothies, in Pad Thai, use it as an ice cream topping, add it to chicken recipes, mix it with water for PB&J sandwiches. I've used it instead of powder sugar to dust over apples and strawberries. These are just a few examples of how I use this product, and I've never been disappointed in the flavor it's added to my recipes. I am a peanut butter junkie, and am so glad I found PB2. Now I can enjoy my peanut butter without the guilt! It's full of protein and goodness.

Literally tastes like cookie dough
I eat a LOT of peanut butter, I'm talking good ol' kraft, occasionally chunky occasionally smooth. I track my calories and protein and figured I'd try this. I anticipated the drop in taste would be worth the lower cals and higher protein. What I DIDN'T anticipate was mixing my first batch to put on my toast, and then eating the mixed bowl via spoon, unable to stop. If I could swear in this review I'd be sure to use my extensive repertoire to emphasize how good this stuff tastes. The taste is so on point and the fact that you can mix the consistency to whatever you like let's you get that perfect cookie dough texture. If I wasn't at work at the job I don't want to be at, I'd be home with a bowl of this creation from the heavens binge watching a show I couldn't care less about. I'm planning on mixing it with some whey and trying to create a "cookie dough" type of creation for when I inevitably can't control my foodlust at night. At least this way I know I'll be munching on something high in protein and low in calories. If this was available at my local Walmart, I'd surely be found on the floor of aisle 3, creating peanut powder angels out of this sweet angel dust.

Buono,Pratico,Soddisfacente
Ottimo prodotto.

¡Sabe a peanut butter!
Había oído hablar mucho de la PB2 y tenía ganas de probarla. Me aconsejaron el sabor natural sobre el de cacao, así que lo pedí. ¡Es increíble! ¡Sabe a auténtica peanut butter!
