The sound quality is outstanding, and I don’t regret spending around ₹19K on them. The audio is very detailed with excellent clarity, balanced bass, and a very immersive listening experience. Music sounds rich and natural, which is what you would expect from a premium pair of earbuds. The Active Noise Cancellation works very well, and the transparency mode is also quite natural. Build quality feels premium, and the earbuds sit comfortably in the ears even during longer listening sessions. Battery life is also impressive, and the support for fast charging and wireless charging makes them convenient to use. One feature I liked is the battery protection mode, where the earbuds charge only up to 80% to help preserve battery health. However, I noticed a small issue with this feature. Sometimes while using this mode, charging becomes inconsistent between the two earbuds. For example, I left the earbuds in the case for several hours and found the left earbud at 80% while the right one was still at around 20%, which suggests it had stopped charging at some point. Another limitation is that the battery protection option applies only to the earbuds and not to the charging case battery, which would have been a useful addition for long-term battery health. Overall, despite this small charging quirk, the sound quality, features, and premium experience make these earbuds a beast in their category. I purchased the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 from Amazon on 11 May 2024. The sound quality and ANC were excellent while the earbuds worked, which is why I chose this premium product. Unfortunately, after just over two years, the right earbud developed a hardware issue. It started making a rattling/cracking noise while moving my head, and the audio would only work when I pressed or touched the earbud. This clearly appeared to be an internal hardware failure. I contacted Sennheiser support expecting a repair option since this is a premium product. However, I was informed that the earbuds are not repairable and that no repair service could be provided because the warranty had expired just one month earlier. For a premium product in this price range, I expected a much longer lifespan and at least the option of a paid repair. It's disappointing that a minor hardware failure effectively renders the entire product unusable. I hope Sennheiser improves both the durability and repairability of its true wireless earbuds.

Not only for Audiophiles, it's for all which delivers awesome quality of signature audio and perfect fit to use for long hours. Excellent product from Sennheiser. Simply loved it...

My main worry about buying these earbuds over sonywf1000xm5 was that I have a samsung phone which doesn't support aptx hd and above. However sony has ldac. No tech review in the internet has talked about whether they sound good enough in normal aptx. Hence I was confused. But ultimately went for this since I have the xm4s already. With some sound tweaking or personalization and changing the tips with a different size these sound brilliant even in AAC/normal aptx. Bass and treble seems more accurate than the sony although i havent yet done a side by side comparison. I own the jabra Elite 10 and samsung buds 2 pro as well and while they are pretty good, I feel these outshine them in the sound quality department(buds 2 pro has a definite edge for watching movies on a galaxy phone with spatial audio). You can play with the sound personalization feature to bring some next level bass/trouble. Can imagine they should sound even better with phones supporting aptx hd,adaptive and lossless. The only gripes I have is you can have only 1 sound personalization at a time. But that's the case with sony too. Also you cannot listen to some music you like and fine tune the sound in sound personalization. You have to listen to some stock sound which isn't good enough(in sonys you can. Hope senheisser can bring that feature in a future update) .The EQ isn't as responsive as the sonys or even jabras. The app can hang at times and not that responsive. And there was regular audio distortions when connected to android tv and once or twice in the phone. But none of these are any dealbreakers and the connection is mostly almost stable on my phone without any dropouts/distortions. Could be a problem with the tv than these. I had a whatsap call with a friend who said they could hear me clearly. I am yet to use it with teams/zoom and on laptop. Noise cancellation - It is ok. Perhaps not at the level of sony xm4 or jabra elite 10 but appears to be better than galaxy buds 2 pro. No cabin pressure/vacuum feel. Lower frequency sounds are better cancelled than the higher ones. Transparency mode is good. Comfort - They are comfortable despite their slightly bulky size. I have large ears. Senheisser provides multiple silicon sized tips and wingtips. Overall despite the minor gripes with respect to the app these are an excellent sounding earbuds recommendable to anyone looking for better sound quality over other things. And they sound really good even if you have a samsung. This is coming from someone who uses sony xm4 with ldac and buds 2 pro with samsung seamless codec. EDIT after a month - I got to reduce a star because of some interesting problems which to be honest I don't mind much but not expected at this price. 1 - After the software updates sometimes there is no synch between left and right buds. There is a delay in the music between 2 buds. It will be gone once I put the buds back in case and take it out. But no excuse at this price. 2 - Some people have told they cannot hear me in phone calls. When I removed the buds they could. My verdict to those looking for a best all-rounder buds around this price is - Buy the jabra Elite 10 and get foam eartips. Connectivity is smooth. It is best for calls,music and sound is great with some eq tweaking and noise cancellation is better than Mtw4 if you use memory foam tips. It is full worth every penny you pay(if you change stock tips to a memory foam). Edit in 2025 - The previous piece had some defect. The service center replaced with a brand new pair and everything works great including noise cancellation.

Good build quality. Signature Sennheiser sound! Do use the app to get the most out of the ear buds. Good noise cancellation , even with the anc turned off. Good battery life, getting 7 to 8 hrs depending iph usage.

I’m very happy with both the product and the customer service. After about 6 months of use, the left earbud stopped working. Since the earbuds were still under warranty, Sennheiser promptly replaced them with a brand-new pair. Great support experience and excellent after-sales service. Highly recommended!

Bulky and painful experience. Battery life is okay for heavy use. Volume control is great, connectivity is great l, easy to use, just that it’s big. Sound is amazing.

The quality of these earbuds has no match at all with others on the market. I've used Apple AirPods for years and it's always been annoying that they fall out of my ears. That doesn't happen at all with these Sennheiser MTW4 earbuds. They adhere perfectly to the ear, there is clearly quality engineering completely blocking out external noise. You can see that the technology isn't generic like other models; they make a huge difference. Thank you for this hearing technology for music lovers and audio quality enthusiasts.

Sound is so much better than my Apple EarPods III

J'ai essayé pas mal de paires d'écouteurs TWS haut-de-gamme (AirPods Pro 2, Sony XM5, Denon PerL Pro...) et je pense avoir enfin trouvé les écouteurs que je cherchais. De manière générale, je suis conquis par la signature sonore de la génération 4 des produits Momentum de Sennheiser. Les basse fréquences sont présentes et bien punchy sans déborder sur le reste du spectre. Moins envahissantes que sur les XM5 et les PerL Pro tout en étant bien plus présentes que sur les AirPods Pro 2. Les médiums sont bien mis en avant et donnant du corps à chaque piste joué et ce peu importe le genre. Le timbre est une quasi-perfection (au coude à coude avec les XM5 honnêtement) et chaque instrument sonne réellement comme il devrait sonner tout en bénéficiant de l'apport en punch des fréquences basses pour les percutions et la basse. La récupération de détails est également très bonne et il y a fort à parier que vous redécouvrirez certaines des chansons que vous connaissiez par coeur sous un autre jour et surtout via les codecs hi-res disponibles (AptX HD, Lossless, Adaptive...). Je pense vraiment que Sennheiser a trouvé la signature sonore idéale pour beaucoup de monde : juste ce qu'il faut de chaleur, avec des mediums très perceptibles et sans jamais tomber dans un son sombre. Niveau design, j'ai pris les blancs/argentés et je les trouve franchement réussis. La texture textile de la boite de rechargement leur donne tout de suite un style bien à eux et malgré l'apparence relativement massive des écouteurs, ces derniers tiennent très bien dans les oreilles sans trop faire d'effort et même en bougeant la tête. Il existe dans ces TWS un bon rapport poids/taille, les rendant physiquement très équilibrés. Les petits logos Sennheiser en mode "aluminium brossé" sur la surface des écouteurs les rendent définitivement très classes et leur donnent un sentiment de qualité et de robustesse. Aucun problème de déconnexions intempestives à signaler et ce, même en utilisant les codecs les plus qualitatifs et gourmands. Si je devais citer un ou deux points faibles, j'aurais peut-être apprécié qu'à ce prix, Sennheiser puisse inclure une fonction d'audio spatial comme le Dolby Atmos. C'est généralement ce qu'arrivent à faire les concurrents, même si il faut bien l'avouer, le résultat est souvent un peu contestable. Je pense qu'il n'y a pas grand chose à ne pas aimer dans ce produit qui est devenu très rapidement ma paire de True Wireless favorite. Bravo Sennheiser.

追記(2026/04/08)＆評価修正(星４→星５) iPhone Airへの機種変更に伴い、評価を上方修正しました。 以下は、イヤホン性能比較では無く、再生デバイス側の性能比較です。 比較対象（全てANCオフ＆イコライザーオフ） ①iPhone Air AAC Amazonミュージック(最大 24bit/96kHz)＊現在のメイン環境 ②iPhone Air AAC Appleミュージック(最大 24bit/48kHz) ③Xperia10III aptX Adaptive(24bit/48kHz) Amazonミュージック(最大 24bit/96kHz) ④Xperia10III aptX Adaptive(24bit/96kHz) Amazonミュージック(最大 24bit/96kHz) イヤーピースを「Comply TW-400-C GEN3 for Sennheiser Mサイズ」に換装済み。 ANCがオフでも周囲の音を物理的に遮断可能。あと、めくれなくなって快適です。 音質比較結果 ④＞③≒①≒②（「≒」と書いたものの、左側の方が高音質に聴こえます） 室内との条件であれば、④は明らかに高音質ですが、以前のレビュー通り、あらゆるスマホ操作によって音飛び＋再接続が発生する為、実用に耐えません。完全ワイヤレスイヤホンの真価は外出先での試聴でのみ判断されるべきですから論外です。 従って③が次点に来るかと思いきや、①が大健闘しており、正直、私の耳では甲乙つけ難いレベルです。実際にマルチポイント接続で切り替えながら試聴していますが、敢えて言うならば、①は低音が少し弱いかな…とか、YOASOBIのアイドルの「合いの手」が気持ちボヤけて聴こえるかな…程度。メインボーカルは遜色なく聴こえます。 良い機会なので、②Appleミュージックでも検証してみました。 何が良いって、デザインですよ、非常にセンス溢れる見た目がステキだ… カラオケ機能はスゴいよ！ボタン一つでボーカルが消えるから！ …すみません、音質評価でしたね。 Amazonミュージックから切り替えた瞬間「あ、違うな」と感じる程度には違います。 若干空気感が増すかな…悪い言い方をすれば、少々スカスカ。 なのですが、もうこの辺は「好み」のレベルだと思います。だってデザインがホントに優れているんだもの… 自宅の音楽再生環境がAppleよりであれば、Appleミュージックを選ぶべきだと思いますね。 私の場合は、ネットワークプレイヤーとして、WiiM Ultra(AirPlay非対応)を導入している為、Amazonミュージック一択。アレクサキャストは本当に便利、Amazonミュージックアプリでほぼ全ての操作（設定変更以外）が可能です、おすすめです。 ちなみに接続安定性評価では、 ①＝②＞③＞越えられない壁＞④ となり、iPhone Airに新たに搭載された、Apple N1 ワイヤレスネットワークチップによる、AAC接続の安定性は抜群で、混雑時の駅、交差点、交通量の多寡、いかなる場合でも音飛びが発生しません。また、大事な事ですが「音」が一定で、一切劣化しません。 ワイヤレス接続のコーデックは、最新の「aptX Lossless」を除けば、全て不可逆圧縮であり、また、可逆の「aptX Lossless」ですら、周囲の環境により、不可逆圧縮による再生(aptX Adaptive)に成り下がるようです。 それがイヤならば「有線」イヤホンなのでしょうが、やはり、完全ワイヤレスの齎す圧倒的な利便性に（私は）勝てないのですよね… 参考までに、Amazonミュージックアプリ上の「オーディオ品質」表示 ①(楽曲の品質)24bit/96kHz→(iPhone)24bit/48kHz→(MTW4)24bit/96kHz ②(楽曲の品質)24bit/48kHz→(iPhone)24bit/48kHz→(MTW4)24bit/48kHz ③(楽曲の品質)16bit/44.1kHz→(iPhone)16bit/44.1kHz→(MTW4)16bit/44.1kHz 多分、iPhoneのスピーカーでは24bit/48kHzで再生可能だからって事だと思います。 ゼンハイザーのアプリ上では「AAC 44.1kHz」と表示されます。 追記のまとめ Apple AACがスゴいのか、MOMENTUM True Wireless 4がスゴいのか… おそらく、ゼンハイザー側も、Appleデバイスでのチューンアップを行ったであろうと感じさせる出来映え。 iPhoneってAAC、なんでしょ？音質良くないんでしょ？ドングル挿さないと駄目なんでしょ？等などのご意見、あるかもしれませんが… ドングルが無くても大丈夫、こちらの「MOMENTUM True Wireless 4」ならね！ ステキなミュージック・ライフがあなたを待っていますよ！ そう言えば、BTD700とのセットが、新生活セールFinal価格で「衝撃価格」でしたね… ゼンハイザーのフラグシップがこの値段で買えるなら、間違いなく即ポチクラスでおすすめ！（あれ？ドングルは要らないんじゃないかって？それならPC接続等に使ったらイイんですよ！） 追記ここまで 約三ヶ月使用してのレビューです。 Xperia10IIIとaptX Adaptiveで接続し、Amazon Music Unlimitedの24bit 96KHz（48KHz＊後述）環境です。 約二年愛用した、同社の CX Plus True Wireless SE が故障した為、代替品を探していました。 EAH-AZ100 と最後まで迷いましたが、こちらがセール価格になっていた為、購入を決意。今のところは十分満足しています。 良かったところ ・非常にコンパクト。最初に思ったのは「小さい！」です。CX Plus True Wireless SE は若干角張ったデザインでしたが、MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 は丸みを帯びており、持ち易さと共に高級感あふれるデザインとなっています。 ・ケースからの取り出し易さ。マグネットの強さが絶妙です。 ・タッチコントロールがほぼ全てカスタマイズ可能。外音取り込みやノイズキャンセリング機能を別々に登録できるイヤホンはあまり多くありません。ゼンハイザーが他社より優れているポイントの一つだと思っています。誤動作もありません。ちなみに同社のフラグシップヘッドホンである MOMENTUM 4 のタッチコントロールは駄目駄目です。 ・ゼンハイザーサウンドの統一性。同社のイヤホン差し替えなので、私好みの音がそのままアップグレードされました。私の耳はもう、ゼンハイザーに魅了されてしまっているので、肝心の音質は他の方のレビューを参考にした方がよろしいかと思いますが、間違いなく星５。 気になるところ ・接続性。Xperia10IIIのaptX Adaptive接続は、48KHzと96KHzどちらかを選べる仕様になっていますが、96KHz接続では、あらゆるスマホ操作によって接続が途切れる＆再接続が発生します。48KHz接続に変更すると非常に安定するのですが。Amazon Music Unlimitedの24bit 96KHzで再生していますが、48KHz接続にもかかわらず、Amazonアプリ内では96KHz接続になっています。正直どちらで接続されてるのか分かりません。マルチポイントを無効にしても治りませんので、個体差でしょうか。 ・Creative BT-W5 とペアリングできない。距離を詰めれば極稀にペアリング表示されますが、接続を維持することができません。同社の BTD600 では完全無事にペアリング可能です。後継の BT-W6 はメーカー動作確認リストに載っているのに…買い換えろって事でしょうか。 ・充電端子がケース前面という謎仕様。qi 充電を推奨しますよって事でしょうか。ちなみにバッテリー延命の為、最大80％で止められる設定が可能なのは英断。謎の安心感があります。 ・標準イヤーピースが吸い付く。外す時にまず間違いなくめくれます。良し悪しですかね、吸い付くって事は耳にピッタリしている、と感じるか否か。 ・換えのイヤーピースが紙のケースにくるまれているだけ。Lのイヤーピースが潰れてしまっていました。フラグシップにあるまじき仕様だと思います。こういう些細な点などがゼンハイザーの悪名高き「サポート体制の悪さ」というイメージを定着させてしまっているのではないでしょうか。残念です。 まとめ ・音質星５。デザイン星５。これ程、所有欲を満足させてくれるデザインは唯一無二。カッコいいのよ… ・接続性星－１。CX Plus True Wireless SE の接続性は完璧だったのに…ファームウェアで改善できませんかね？ ・従って星４.５。十分におすすめできるワイヤレスイヤホンです。 ・メーカー保証期間の２年後にはたぶん次のフラグシップが発売されるはず。たぶん買う。あなたも「ゼンハイザー」のオーナーになりませんか？
