Most Affordable Quality Knife Made In The USA
This is my 3rd purchase of a Kershaw Blur. I initially purchased one for myself, and the other two I’ve given away as gifts over the last year. It’s one of the more affordable knives from an excellent company and more importantly they’re MADE IN THE USA. They come razor sharp, have strong locking mechanism, and the assisted opening makes it snap open and feel like a solid knife when locked in place with the liner lock securing the blade safely open. It has a deep carry pocket clip and best of all, like most quality knives is that it carries with the tip up. Both Blurs that I’ve given away the recipients have been ecstatic. 10/10 would recommend, again, and again, and again.

Just Wow!!
First things first this pocket knife in my opinion is all cracked up to what its supposed to be. I am very happy I decided to purchase it. Number one it is absolutely a beautiful black beauty. Number two it is very well built and super solid. The belt clip is super strong and tight. The assisted open feature is magnificent! Also it is super easy to unlock which i really like! Finally number three this knife is the sharpest damn pocket knife I have ever owned. I am not exaggerating when i say this knife comes RAZOR RAZOR sharp! You can literally shave your face, legs, arms or any other part of your body you'd like. I am absolutely stunned how sharp this knife really is. To all future buyers, be very careful when handling this knife. It can do serious damage if you are careless with it. With all that being said I highly recommend this knife to any responsible person who is really looking for a well crafted, hand and shart AF pocket knife!! Thanks Kershaw for a great product! And thanks Amazon for a great price. Oh by the way it costs double on the manufacturers website!!! Thanks again AMAZON!!!

SUPER EDC Knife
Observed some online reviews and video reviews of this blade and took the plunge. Love that it's American Made, Kershaw has a good reputation for general quality knife maker. This isn't a high end EDC knife, but I don't wince when I knick it, have to hammer with it, or use it in any hard use situation or fashion other than what it's made for. The lock-up was getting a little loose, hardly noticeable but there, sent it back to Kershaw (on my dime of course) with a note. I got it back a week later, they replaced all internals, put a wicked edge on it, and this things locks up tighter than any gerber or spyderco I've had, and they are great knife companies too! I can put up with shipping it to get super customer service like that, they earned a customer for life. I can put a VERY good edge on this with a basic knife sharpening kit in a few minutes. I like that this sharpens easily and well because I've had hit and miss luck with sharpening knives in the past. I had a spyderco centofante 3 before this, it took a good edge with just a diamond sharpening block, but I think this is better. I'm also VERY happy with the handle texture, again better to my preference than previous spyderco endura texture, really good valcano texturing. The clip is super tough and whereas my centofante 3 clip screw holes stripped out quickly, this thing remains rock solid. Deployment is different than the two previous spyderco models I listed. The spring assist really works best when you don't work as hard. I near cut my finger off when I tried to assist the blade open the entire path of the opening. It's designed for more of a short flick of the thumb to start the blade open, and the spring mechanism really whips it open from there. It's super slick, very fast, and I love it! The thumb stud sticks out for a really good perch for easy opening, the trade off is if you wear it with some close fitting shorts or pants without a shirt tucked between it, you can really notice it. I ran with this knife inside my running shorts one summer day, the thumb stud dug a small hole into my side, ouch. In regular carry with jeans in a 4-5 o'clock position, even without a shirt tucked in, it's alright, but it really shines in a pocket for me.

Best knife you can buy, period.
Okay, listen up! I have bought thousands of items on Amazon, and owned 50 different knives in my life. This is the ABSOLUTE best pocket knife you can own! I have never written a review but just felt the need to on this one. I have had/lost 5 of these and I will never switch, even for a $500 handmade knife. This fits your hand perfectly, is easy to master, cuts everything and never leaves my pocket. It has supported me in my business for 7+ years. Buy this knife period!!!! (And don’t lose it. 😀 If one of your buddies pulls out some other pocket knife, just simply laugh at him and show him yours, lol.

Great knife, had to buy after losing my previous one.
Lost this knife after having it for 5.5 years, so I had to get another one. I did purchase a Bel-Air to give that a try, mainly because of the steel, but there are several reasons why I like this knife better. - I like the rubberized grip, the Bel-Air does not have this - I got spoiled by the assisted opening function. I've had this on several other knives that I've owned before, and have a hard time wanting to go back. The Bel-Air does not have this function, but it is still relatively easy to open. - When I bought it in 2020, it was in the low 60s. For the cost, I thought it was a great deal. I still think it is in the 80s all things considered. It held up nicely during the time that I had it The knocks against the Bel-Air did not make me return it, nor does that make it a bad knife. I will keep the knife as a backup, and who knows, maybe I will switch for that one eventually. But for now, I enjoy the Blur, and hope that the one that I lost will be found eventually.

Capable pocket knife.
I purchased this very knife 4 years ago in March of 2021. This has been a very good knife. It's very sharpe and very easy to sharpen. The spring in the assisted folder is still top notch. It opens very smoothly and fast. The only issue is that the grippy inlays on the non belt clip side fell off. I wish I could get some more of those grip inlays. But all in all a very capable pocket knife.

Great knife for any purpose
Great Knife! I have a small collection of folding knives, and this is one of my favorites. The handle has a great textured grip and the side clip is handy and durable. And I like the fact that the clip is reversible or removable, depending on your preference. The blade is extremely sharp and very durable. I like the blade thickness, very strong; and the length is good for tackling almost any situation you come across. The Kershaw Speed Safe assisted opening is also excellent. Easy enough to open with one finger, yet secure enough so it won't open accidentally. That makes it great for one handed operation when you're multi tasking. A few minor considerations to keep in mind... -The textured grip along with the side clip can cause some wear to your clothing over time; depending on how often you use it. -The screw that secures the blade to the handle MAY loosen from constant opening and closing, but some thread locker will solve that. -The screws used to put the knife together and machine screws with a Torx head. So if you need to do any tightening or adjustments you'll need small size Torx bits. Even with these minor points, I still consider the Black Blur a great knife, and I would recommend this to anyone. Mechanic, outdoorsman, do-it-yourself enthusiast, this knife will serve you well. Just my opinion. And as if that weren't enough...I checked some local retailers and the exact same knife costs AT LEAST TWICE what Amazon was asking. That made it a no-brainer. Keep up the good work Kershaw and Ken Onion.
