Product Description Six more adventures for the animated secret agent. In 'The Invasion of Colonel K', Danger Mouse's boss is infiltrated by the evil Baron Greenback. 'Danger Mouse Saves the World... Again!' sees the Baron hatching an evil scheme to drain people's brains, while in 'The Oddball Run-a-Round', Danger Mouse and Penfold are entrusted with a valuable rugby ball which must be delivered to London. 'The Wild, Wild Goose Chase' sees the duo travelling to the mysterious East in search of Greenback's lair. In 'The Return of Count Duckula', Baron Greenback joins forces with DM's other bete noire - the vampire duck, Count Duckula. Finally, 'Demons Aren't Dull' sees the world placed in danger by a strange visitor. From .co.uk Anyone who was a child in the first half of the 1980s will be rushing out to buy Danger Mouse, a readymade time machine to transport you back to those halcyon days of coming home from school to collapse cross-legged in front of the TV. In each action-packed episodes, our righteous rodent triumphs time and again over his arch-nemesis Baron Silas Greenback--the world's most evil toad--battling off everything from aliens and monsters to exploding custard and runaway washing machines. As ever, each episode opens in Danger Mouse's hidden hideaway (located under a post box "somewhere in Mayfair"), the furry Secret Agent duly receiving his instructions from spluttering boss Colonel K. Then it's into the Mousemobile and out onto London's streets, as DM and his trusty sidekick Penfold set off to find their croaky foe and save the day. While the animation is basic and, at 20 minutes a pop, the stories have a tendency to lose momentum, the knowing wit and fabulous theme tune more than compensate. Much of the credit has to go to writer Mike Harding, who mercilessly mimics spy movie clichés until every last laugh is wrung out, but even more should go to David "Del Boy" Jason. Not content with simply voicing the eponymous hero, he also conjures up unrecognisable tones for Colonel K and two of Greenback's loyal hench-creatures, Nero and Count Duckula. And then there's his deliciously portentous voice-over, greeting each cross-cut with the obligatory "meanwhile . . .". An all-round must-buy, but with one important warning: don¹t expect to sleep once that signatory music starts whizzing round your head: "He's the greatest, he's fantastic, wherever there is trouble he's around. Danger Moooooouuuuseeee...". --Jamie Graham

Hilarious
Both my kids love Dangermouse but this is only the second DVD i have got for them. I did try to get them in order but after watching the first episodes (bizzare and boring) on one dvd and then throwing it away i found the best of ones to be much better. This and Viva Dangermouse are much more how i remember the series being, funny, irreverent and entertaining, a must have ;)

Dangerous Liasons.
I love this series, the voices are ace and the characters scream the irony and sarcasm of James Bond, but in a restrained more appetising to the child way!

Classic Entertainment
Didn't take much notice of it when my children watched it when it was on the television. Have now watched it with my grandchildren and thought it was funny and entertaining. The grandchildren aged five and seven love it, so it was well worth buying.

Danger Mouse
What can I say? I loved Danger Mouse when I was young, and it still has the ability to entertain now. We've enjoyed introducing our 5 year old to one of our favourite tv programmes and are delighted that she loves it too! Fun for all the family.
