I like the eco-friendly format. It has a grit to it that I didn't have in other solid dish soap. The scent isn't strong, so safer for migraine sufferers. Can be used with any dish washing tool. Has a lid. You just need to rinse it off before putting it on. It's a good value. Easy to use. Leaves no residue. Both the soap and dish are high quality. Review: Two suds up for the best ever dish soap. - This is bar none the best dish soap I’ve ever used, though this is the first solid dish soap I tried. I took a chance on it when I found it locally, and I’m so glad I did. It degreases and cleans better than even liquid Dawn dish soap, and doesn’t leave behind overpowering chemical fragrance. I personally think this and the lemon grass smell nice, but since they seem to be naturally derived fragrances I can see how some folks might not dig the earthy undertones this soap has. The block lasts a long time so long as you make sure you drain and let it dry after each use. It seems expensive at the outset, but this has outlasted multiple bottle bottles of good quality liquid soap. It’s easy to use, but there’s a bit of a learning curve since solid dish soap isn’t commonly used anymore. Just dampen the cloth or sponge and give the block a good rub. To add soap to a sink full of water I run water over the block, or get an excess amount on my cloth and then rinse it into the sink. Finally, the ceramic container is timelessly aesthetic. It fits in well with my original 1920s kitchen, but would look great in any kitchen. It’s also nice and small, so it fits just about anywhere. It avoids pointless plastic waste, and looks 100x better than any plastic soap bottle on the counter.

Two suds up for the best ever dish soap.

I love this stuff, I just wish it didn't run out so fast
I love having dish soap in a nice-looking, reusable ceramic container instead of a plastic squeeze bottle. It foams nicely, rinses easily, gets the dishes clean and seems to be easy on my skin. Only four stars because it's not the most economical dish soap out there. We seem to use it up quickly. So if you're pincing pennies you may want to go for something cheaper. But in my opinion, if spending a few extra bucks a month on soap is going to break the bank, you've got bigger problems than what dish soap to use. I think of this as one of those affordable luxuries that makes you feel like you're living in wealth and abundance. It's apparently good for the planet and your health, too. I suppose one could get cheap, generic dish soap in a throw-away bottle, buy crypto with the $3-$4 a month you would save, and become a billionaire in 40 years. But this is one of those situations where it's better to live in the Now.

Works well--don't forget to order the brushes!
So far I like it. One thing I like is that it does lather despite what some people say. Maybe it depends on your water, but I don't even have soft water and it lathers nicely. The smell is very light and what is good is that it does not transfer to the dishes. It's pleasant when you are washing dishes, but it doesn't leave an odor on the dishes themselves. I've only tried the lemon one. People have said that the inside is hollow and I haven't gotten that far down. It seems as if there's quite a bit so what I'm going to do is write the date on top of this to I see how long it lasts. I wash dishes every day since I don't have a dishwasher. Some people have complained because the container is breakable but I would much rather have a breakable one than a plastic one. PS: I had never heard about this product before. I only ordered it because I saw it on a major Consumer magazine. They liked it. IMPORTANT: it does not come with the brushes. I had no idea because it looks like it does,so my soap looks pretty bad right now in the video. I've been using a very hard brush. I've ordered the right brushes but it's worth noting that you don't get the brushes.

Works well but doesn't last long.
This soap lathers nicely and cuts grease well. I wash all of my dishes by hand and it lasted me about 1 1/2 months. The container is small and it's not full. There is a good space above and below the soap. So it ended up being too expensive for me.

Great reusable container, even better semi abrasive dish soap
This was a new "zero waste" attempt in our house and it didn't disappoint. The dish butter lasted over 5 months...it took some getting used to but really gets pots and pans clean with it's slightly abrasive texture.

gentle on my dry hands
Very effective on my greasy dishes, smells nice (very mild scent). The main reason I bought it was to see if it would be less dehydrating to my hands. It's great! They don't get all red and cracked now after using it for a few weeks! It also looks adorable by my sink.

Good Quality
You have to buy the Dish Brush that’s goes with this Product! But other than that it has a Lovely Smell and cuts way down on regular dish soap

A great low-tox option! The price is amazing for how long this lasts and it actually works! Foams up well and the scent is nice. I tend to overuse liquid soaps and end up going through a lot very quickly. I always buy no/low tox dish products so it wasn’t really a responsible choice on my part financially so I will definitely be buying the refills of this stuff when I run out of the initial block!

I love this product!!! It smells nice and not too overpowering. Cleans so much better than liquid dish soaps! It even cleans my counter tops better than the kitchen cleaners! It even cleans my glass stove top better and easier than the harsh cleaner supposedly made for it and doesn't leave a greasy film and streaks, it looks clean as new!

Amazing! A great lather and great for cutting through grease! Highly recommend this natural product to replace Dawn.

Love this sustainable dish soap solution! Seriously, it is so fun to use and goes a long way. I use a damp dishcloth to dip into the dish butter. Another option is to put water in the dish, swirl it around and when bubbles appear you can pour the soapy water into the dish or pan you want to wash. I gave it four stars because it does not cut heavy grease on baking dishes and frying pans, we had to use regular dish soap.
