Bryant Indoor/Outdoor Hooked Beach, Fabric by the Yard

I used this fabric to recover my dining room chairs for our lake house. I wanted a dark background so stains wouldn't show as much, but wanted some white in it as well to tie in with the white chair. I had to paint the chair white to match my table. See pic of before and after recovering the chair. My photo makes the blue background look darker than it actually is. It looks exactly like the pics on Amazon. It turned out really cute. I washed the fabric first, then dried it on low in my dryer. It came out perfect, no wrinkles whatsoever. It's medium weight and really good for upholstery. I can't speak to durability, since we haven't used them yet. I will say though, that I was going to Scotchgard them but after testing a sample piece of the material, it didn't pass the test. You spray your fabric until wet, then take a porous white cloth (I used paper towels) and rub the fabric to see if any of the color comes off. If color comes off, you can't use Scotchgard. These are the directions on the Scotchgard can. Well, the blue came off onto the cloth, so I couldn't protect them with Scotchgard. Not a huge issue, I just wanted some added protection. The price was extremely reasonable as well. I highly recommend this fabric if it's the look you are going for.

Omg so so fast getting here waaay before they predicted it would and then fabric is more beautiful in person.. I’m teaching myself how to sew new pillow covers and this material is so nice and thick I am learning the nicer the material the easier it is to wrk with I love it

I just finished making boat cushion covers for our small sailboat. I love the fabric. It's bright and colorful and fairly thick, but still easy to sew on my little singer machine.

I have posted my counter stool re-do on a coastal site and everyone went nuts .... bought extra for a tablecloth.Great fabric for chairs that you sit on with wet bathing suits or lounge are. Colors are great! Its a keeper!

The chair pads that I wanted to order were discontinued. I was happy to find this fabric and plan on making my own chair covers. Love the bright print.
