Great Quality at a Great Price.
I've only been using the light box for a few days, but I'm very pleased. The build quality is excellent, the light is very bright, and the packaging is very good. Note that you will need a plug for the USB cable.

It's great for price
Great for the price. Doesn't come with power cord or plug but fits normal 5v usbc-c that most people have for other devices. Is simple device. Lightweight, seems flimsy but is strong enough. Doesn't hold a charge so must be plugged in. 3 light settings. Uniformity of light is good (after a week still good). I can't measure the actual CRI. My outer box seals arrived open but all was fine. I know that projects of old pics get pushed back by many people but you want to inspect for shipping damage and test electronics you buy right away so you don't surpass return period. I can fit about 24 35mm slides and I individually capture them with my smartphone (then strighten and crop later. Then name, date and save in my devices). You have to be a perfectionist, steady hand and good vision. It's a learning process, so start slow and expect to have to go back to some problematic originals. A good slide scanner takes the same amount of effort with all the checking of focus later, and re-adjusting light, overcropping issues, straightening, redoing bad ones, jams, etc. Remember, good results are largely do to the quality of the originals and you being patient with your cameras focus and perfect photo distance from each slide. Each time blow off or gently wipe off hair, dustt, debris from the light box. Avoid scratching it or wetting it. Mine aren't grassy knoll pics, just kiddie slides and grand parents who passed away. With the exception of one great 1 in 50, most are going to be sent to all, looked at once, then filed away. Besides most of us have a good digital camera with more pixels/dpi than slidescanners Try to dust off standard slides first with dry compressed air, swap with a gentle microfiber fabric or even a q-tip. Both sides! No heat, no chemicals. Gently. Start practicing with worst one first. I can see some slide film deteriorating from 50 years of storage so don't delay. (If you have mold that's a huge project to look up and fix first). As always, save digitalized duplicates photos in multiple separate devices and locations to avoid losing them due to loss of phones, pc viruses, cloud bankruptcy, ransomware, house fires, floods, exes or kids factory resetting your devices, etc. I haven't used it for negatives.

Very nice quality tablet for displaying slides or seeing what is on negatives
Great value for the money. What saves money for this oroduct is that it has no power supply of it own, which is not really needed. It is the ideal size for viewing slide sheets of 20 at a time. Or a negative file sheet. It has three brightness levels. The first two are great for indoor use. The third is so high you could probably use it outside. But is goo to hsve for dark slides. Of course the color temperature is off for proper calibrated slide copying by camera. But for my use it is completely sufficient and one with proper color is twice the money

Boxes of slides that need to be looked at and scanned. This is perfect for the job.

Large, bright, and good even light.
Despite not having an adjustable color temperature, this is a good light table for looking at negatives. It's much bigger than I needed, the light is very even, USBC power works (including PD I think) making it easy to power from a battery, and I may even try some camera negative scanning off of it, I think it's just bright enough for that.
