Zaa Shower Drain Hair Catcher Silicone Flat Floor Strainer Protector

I wanted something that would last and keep hair from clogging up the drain--this product does just that. In fact, I was so surprised at how much hair it was catching. It was even catching cat hair (I guess my cats have been playing in the shower when I'm at work)! It is "weighted" so that it won't go floating away whenever water hits it. It will move if you step on it or touch it, though. I do get some slight puddling when showering, but it's to be expected. The catcher itself has about a 1/4" lip around it, meaning the water has to get that high to go up and into the channel to drain. It's not a huge nuisance, and the water does move and drain consistently. I don't like having to step around it whenever I'm showering, but hey, it's keeping my drain from being clogged, and that's all I ask. I'm happy I bought it, and I'd recommend it.

I have very fine thinning hair. It sheds so badly when showering that I just want to cry and then I panic about it clogging the shower on top of it all. I ordered these hair catchers and they work perfectly to solve the clogging concern. They're low profile, bendable silicone, and have some weight to them. I ordered the gray ones and they blend right in with our gray tile floors. They're super easy to use. I use it over a center drain in our shower and it fits perfectly. I've never tried to suction it, I just place it on top and it doesn't move around. It does an excellent job of catching all of the hair before it gets to the actual drain. I remove it after my shower, clean the hair out, and lean it against the shower wall to let it air out. It seems like it would start getting moldy under there if I didn't do that. One thing to note is that the shower water moves more slowly through it as the holes are so much smaller than the actual drain holes, hence the great hair catching ability. These were a great buy. I totally recommend.

I have long hair that is always a pain to pull out of the drain, but these are great! Keep my hairs out of the drain! Don't seem to rust, so far haven't had mold growing on the holes (this happened to another type I had and I hated it), super easy to plop in and use and easy to clean and get hair off of. Would reccommend!

It stays in place pretty well (no suction cups) but in my shower, it doesnt allow enough water drainage so you end up with a puddle that needs to be dealt with after shower. Dies catch the hair but if you don’t disperse that puddle you have remaining soap scum around the catcher.

I’m really pleased with how this one is working out. It’s flexible enough around the edges to conform to the slopes in my tub while being heavy enough in the center to stay firmly in place without adhesive. It’s also easy to clean. (Which is important because it catches so much hair in a single shower)

This hair catcher collects 5 times more hair than my old one and I love that it came in a pack of 2! You can’t go wrong with this and I have very short hair! Can you imagine how much long hair it would catch!

Just purchased these shower drain hair catchers and so far, I'm impressed. the quality seems superlative and I like the fact that they're weighted so it's tougher for them to slide away from the drain when the water gets a bit high. They're exactly what I wanted at a grat price.

Well made product - very sturdy feeling and does what it's meant to do. Bought them for under our linear drain cover but they are too big but we can still use them in our other shower with a regular fixed drain.

If you have raised ridges under your original plug this does sit over them and forms a very good barrier, I had tried another sort that had great reviews but it sat on the ridges and so everything went under it. I would highly recommend this one, it fits well, doesn't move about, catches my long hair, but still allows water to drain with no issues.

Work really well at catching hair, easy to use, exactly what we were looking for. The only downside is these come from the US, even though they're made in China. No idea why we can't buy them direct in the UK.
