Prince Eddy and the Homosexual Underworld Paperback – 27 July 2013

A wonderful sympathetic account of one of the least known members of the Royal Family. Well written, a thoroughly enjoyable and enlightening book from a master of biography.

This was purchased as a xmas present. However, I did have a quick browse because it is my type of Bio and I am certain it will be an excellent read. It is for my son who is an avid follower of all the events happening at that time

A good piece of work but a bit underwhelming. Nevertheless a worthwhile read.

I really enjoyed this book because I knew so little about Prince Eddy. I think his sexuality and homosexual lifestyle would of course be viewed very differently these days (or would it - being a royal Prince?). I felt so sad for him. A well written book.

Theo Aronson is a great writer and here is a book that delves into a part of social history that no one ever spoke about in those days. Found all the speculations and hard evidence interesting. A book I could read again in due course.
